Hirohisa Onikubo (鬼窪 浩久, Onikubo Hirohisa) is a Japanese manga artist and former assistant to Hirohiko Araki. He is credited as co-author of The Lives of Eccentrics, and was a chief assistant during the publication of Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders.[1] He currently assists with the TV adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by David Production.

Onikubo's personal work consists of Japanese Adult comics. Co-produced alongside his partner Reki Taki, the two distribute dojinshi to various outlets.

Trivia

- Onikubo was also Tetsuo Hara's chief assistant for Fist of the North Star before he became Araki's.[6]
- On the cover of Chapter 290, one of the manga falling out of Toshikazu Hazamada's locker is the first volume of GP BOY, a series illustrated by Onikubo and written by Kunihiko Akai. It was originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 1990 as part of a sponsorship with the Formula One team at the time.[7][8]
