Shueisha Inc. (株式会社集英社, Kabushiki Gaisha Shūeisha, lit. "Shueisha Publishing Co., Ltd.") is a major publisher in Japan.
The company was founded in 1925 as the entertainment-related publishing division of Japanese publisher Shogakukan. The following year, Shueisha became a separate, independent company on August 8, 1926. They were eventually incorporated as Shueisha Inc. in 1949.[1]

Magazines published by Shueisha include Weekly Shonen Jump, Weekly Young Jump, Non-no, and Ultra Jump, two of which publish JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
Shueisha, along with Shogakukan and Hakusensha, owns VIZ Media, which publishes manga from all three companies in North America.
It is headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo.[2]
