Toru Yoshida

Toru Yoshida (吉田 徹, Yoshida Toru) is a Japanese animator credited for his work on the TV adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by David Production. Yoshida was a key animator for seasons one and two.

Born in Ryōnan, Kagawa, Japan, Yoshida is an experienced animator who originated from Osaka Designer's College and studied under acclaimed animator Moriyasu Tanguchi while working for Studio Anime R. Yoshida is currently a lecturer at the Osaka Amusement Media College and a member of the Japanese Animation Creators Association.

Alongside fellow animator Yuichi Nakazawa, Yoshida's specialty is in mech-based animation. In the 1980's, he gained popularity for his work in Armored Trooper Votoms and went on to animate and supervise for series like Blue Comet SPT Layzner, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
