Uwe Thomsen was born on July 6, 1983 in Rottweil, Germany. He studied acting at the Munich acting school Actors in Motion and the International Acting School in Rome. He made his debut at the Salzach Festival in 2005 in Hexenjagd and as a poor neighbour in Jedermann. Further engagements took him to the Junge Landestheater Bayern, the Theater ... und so fort and the Theater Kopfüber in Ansbach. In 2011, together with Thomas Schwendemann and Franziska Zawila, he founded the ensemble Neue Bühne München, which has since been at home in Munich’s independent theatre scene. In addition, Uwe Thomsen has appeared in various TV, cinema and short film productions and is repeatedly active as a dubbing artist for film, television and video games as well as a narrator for audio books. He was already on stage at the Gärtnerplatztheater in 2016 as Lageraufseher Krutow in Viktoria und ihr Husar.[1]
In the 5th episode of Stone Ocean, Star Platinum's "ORA ORA" rush sounds different because it wasn't dubbed by Thomsen. This caused many people to blame him despite being a mistake from the dubbing director.
