Hironori Tanaka (田中 宏紀, Tanaka Hironori) is a Japanese freelance animator credited for his work on the TV adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by David Production. He is notable for being the solo animation director for the King Crimson vs. Metallica arc.

Tanaka is a renown freelance animator, born in the Aichi Prefecture of Japan and originally from Studio Eagle's Nest. His first "breakout" was working alongside Director Takashi Otsuka on Pretty Cure and has since then developed a massive portfolio despite his young age. Series he's worked on include Gurren Lagann, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto, Sweet Blue Flowers, The Tatami Galaxy, etc.
