Yasuhiro Kimura (木村 泰大, Kimura Yasuhiro) is a Japanese animator credited for his work on the TV adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by David Production. He is the Director of Golden Wind, alongside Hideya Takahashi.

Graduate of Tama Art University and affiliate to Studio Comet, Kimura is best known for his work at studio Doga Kobo, directing series like Three Leaves, Three Colors, 2.43: Seiin High and New Game!. He is also the director of David Production's Urusei Yatsura 2022 anime alongside Hideya Takahashi.[1]

Trivia

  • Kimura's favorite character from the series is Guido Mista. In particular, he appreciates the character's way of thinking, sense of humor and good-natured personality, as well the fact his Stand revolves a gun.[3]
  • His favorite scene in Golden Wind is when Mista and Giorno combine their abilities to stop Cioccolata's helicopter in GW Episode 30.[3]
