Marco d'Ambrosio
Marco d'Ambrosio is an Italian who Composes Music for a living that has lived in California since 2001. His compositions he is mostly known for are the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 1993 & 2000 OVA's along with the Phantom Blood Movie. His compositions for other Anime are Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust & Fist of the Blue Sky.
Biography
At the age of 9 years old, his father would take him to festivals in Florence, Italy, where he would put Marco on his shoulders so he could properly watch the bands march by and play their music. As a boy, Marco would fall in love with wanting to play the trumpet. After Emigrating to America he wouldn't have the chance to play until elementary school.
Marco's Music compassion started to develop even more when he made two album purchases which were; Maurice André Plays Baroque Trumpet Concertos & Aerosmith's, Toys in the Attic Album. His inspiration for wanting to compose music would be captivated from Movie's, specifically the classic collaborations of Federico Fellini, Nino Rota (who composed the Godfather)[5], and scores from among many other composers like Ennio Morricone, Bernard Herrmann, Maurice Jarre.
Marco also said to of enjoyed his work time co-arranging and preforming for the Grateful Dead band member, Bob Weir. In 2005 Marco was awarded the "prestigious film scoring fellowship" award from Sundance Institute, along with in 2009 where he was chosen to partake in the "BMI Conducting Workshop" in Hollywood. When Marco has some free time available and is not composing music he likes to recharge his "creative flow" with his Wife, Terri d'Ambrosio, his son Armando and the family dog, Diva.

Trivia
- Marco provided the 16 Minute Phantom Blood Movie footage as course material for a sound design project at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, but he dropped out.
