Manga Debut: Chapter 1: Prologue

A site that was used for sacrificial rituals by the Aztec Chief and his tribe. The site consists of an Aztec pyramid, with a flat top where a table has been set in order to tie up sacrifices. The Aztec Chief slams a follower into the ground, creating a large cut in the pyramid.

A hospital where Jonathan is taken care of by Erina. Speedwagon attempts to visit Jonathan here, but is turned away by Erina; he breaks in later that night, but abstains from entering after realizing Jonathan and Erina's relationship.

A steam cruiser going from England to the United States. Jonathan Joestar and Erina Pendleton intend to spend their honeymoon on the cruise, but Jonathan discovers that Dio Brando and Wang Chan have infiltrated the boat. Wang Chan sucks one passenger's blood, and soon most of the passengers become part of a zombie mob. However, Jonathan manages to destroy the boat by forcing Wang Chan to hold the ship's screw shaft in place, making it explode. Erina, her yet-unborn son, and an orphaned baby (the future Lisa Lisa) appear to be the only survivors; it is later revealed in Stardust Crusaders that Dio has survived the explosion as well.

Anime Debut: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Episode 11: Master of the Game

An underground Nazi laboratory set up to experiment on the Vampires and Pillar Men. Its experimentation pit was supposedly able to hold Santana but it proven ineffective in keeping him prisoner. It is equipped with a self-destruct mechanism in case the situation goes out of control. It is where Joseph Joestar and Rudol von Stroheim fight Santana.

A secret cavern under the Colosseum. A secret passage behind the famous Bocca della Verità. The Nazis discover three Pillar Men slumbering here, Wamuu, Esidisi and Kars. The cavern is vast and decorated with columns and primitive sculptures. Its main point of interest is the wall in which the Pillar Men slumbered and the Nazis have installed several installations to keep the Pillar Men in check. They escape anyway. It is there that Joseph Joestar first encounters the three Pillar Men.

A small mountainous country between Italy and Germany. The Joestar Group visits the country when they chase the Red Stone of Aja, which was sent here by Esidisi. The Nazis have another base in here in the form of a chalet, which was attacked by Kars. In Switzerland, there is the town and luxury resort of St-Moritz, the "valley of the sun" and mecca of winter sports where rich people take their holidays.

Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It is the end goal of the heroes, as it is the city where DIO resides in his mansion. Cairo is a sprawling city of 2,000,000 habitants at the time of the story and a long history, with labyrinthine streets and unique local customs. It is also the home of Muhammad Avdol. It is the theater of several battles, notably Jotaro Kujo against DIO.

Calcutta is the cultural capital of India. It has a population of over 11 million people, though more then 2 million are homeless. The 19th century British refered to it as one of the "Worst places in the world". The city was officially renamed to Kolkata in 2001. A very active city, it is ridden with beggars, thiefs and filth, which shocks most of the Joestar Group. It is there that Jean Pierre Polnareff encounters Hol Horse and J. Geil.

The Red Sea, the clearest most beautiful sea in the world according to all divers. Home to an impressive fauna. The Red Sea is named as such because of its coasts of red deserts. Without any city to pollute, it is an ecosystem that has kept its beauty. The Joestar Group try to cross it via a submarine, but High Priestess attacks and sinks the submarine, forcing the group to go scuba diving instead.

A prison where the capo Polpo is kept. Polpo's own room resembles a bare cell at first glance, but its walls hide several goods and furniture from a fridge to an armory. The security around Polpo is actually tight and the guards do not tolerate any exchange of goods between prisoners and visitors.

The ruins of Pompeii. Pompeii was once a prosperous Roman city. In 24 of August, 79, the Vesuvio erupted and buried the city and its inhabitants in scalding ash, ironically preserving the city and turning the locals into statues that would be rediscovered 1800 years later. In there, a famous place known as the house of the tragic poet harbors an equally famous dog mosaic. It is there that Pannacotta Fugo, Leone Abbacchio and Giorno Giovanna go to retrieve a key and are attacked by Illuso.

It is temporarily stopped during the fight and Team Bucciarati leaves. Melone boards it to find a suitable mother for his Baby Face and the train does arrive in Rome.

After being knocked out of the plane by Trish Una and Spice Girl, Notorious B.I.G falls into the Tyrrhenian Sea near Cala di Volpe. Forever stuck there, it chases the crashing waves of the sea. Sometimes it will attack and sink passing ships that are moving faster than the waves. Local fishermen in the vicinity refer to the area as the "Tyrrhenian's Stomach", thinking that it is cursed.

Rome, the capital of Italy. It is the theater of several fights that have a huge impact. Cioccolata's Green Day spreads its mold there, causing a massacre before Giorno Giovanna kills him. Secco and Bruno Bucciarati's fight wreck the streets too because of Oasis liquefying the ground. Finally, the population falls victim to Chariot Requiem, their souls switched with one another until Chariot is destroyed.

A mysterious art museum located somewhere in Sardinia. Sometime after Team Bucciarati defects from Passione, they awaken inside one of its rooms with six strange showcases aligned in front of them with their Stands inside them. It becomes a trap for the group due to Scatola trapping their Stands with his Stand, The Shelter. It acts as the main location to escape from for the story made for the Escape From JoJo's Bizarre Museum escape room.

The Arizona Desert, a vast desert that sets the stage for the second part of the Steel Ball Run. Sandman's tribe lives here. The desert is extremely vast and possesses several types of landscapes, from hot desert plains to iron-rich mountains. It is the backdrop of several fights pitting Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli against (in order) Mrs. Robinson, the Boomboom Family, Oyecomova, and Pork Pie Hat Kid. There is a Devil's Palm moving around the desert, and several people have become Stand Users while crossing it.

San Diego West Coast Beach, a vast Californian beach and the starting point of the Steel Ball Run. A camp is temporarily set up here to welcome and house the thousands of competitors.

A special train prepared by Steven Steel to help journalists and VIPs observe the first stage of the SBR. The train continues its way through the Arizona Desert, and is repurposed into a mobile base for Funny Valentine during the second and third stages of the race.

At approximately 39 degrees 6 minutes 24 seconds north latitude, 94 degrees 40 minutes 6 seconds west longitude lies a small ruin near Kansas City. The ruin is marked by a stone with an amerindian glyph representing a man and the sun. It serves as the location of the Saint's Corpse's spine.

Independence Hall is the building where both the United States Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were debated and adopted. Funny Valentine makes it his temporary base during the seventh stage and hides the Holy Corpse Parts there. Lucy Steel discovers it and is revealed to be the host of the last Holy Corpse Part, the head.

A summer camp in the woods. Roughly ten years before the events of JoJolion, Suzuyo Hirose left her daughter Yasuho there, against Yasuho's will, in order to have some vacation. The children all live in tents of four set on wooden platforms, tables are available for the children too. The camp includes a log house and a playground for children.

A secluded village up in the mountains, situated 80 km northwest of Morioh. There are no road leading to this village, yet there are more than 11 palatial mansions in this village, a heliport and even an Isetan store. The villas all belong to people who didn't come out of money, but became rich after purchasing a villa at the age of 25. One villa is up for sale and the price is quite low for a villa, at about 3 million yen for 800 tsubo/2648 square kilometers, but the village is quite strict about manners and will refuse to sell to anyone who lacks manners. It is revealed that the village is situated in sacred lands, where gods of the mountains test buyers to see if they have manners.

The villa that Kyoka Izumi wants to buy. The master of the house is unseen and Rohan Kishibe and Kyoka only interact with the butler, Ikkyu. The villa's land covers 800 tsubos (2648 square kilometers) of land, but only a small part of the house is seen, the entrance area and the guest's room. The OVA expands a bit on the villa and shows more spaces like a luxurious reception hall and a garden.

Jugo Shishi's office. Like any mangaka's office, there is a drawing desk, a regular desk and bookshelves full of books for references. It also has a small table, a small couch and chair and a refrigerator. It is noticeably messier than Rohan's own office, but its state worsens after Jugo Shishi becomes obsessed with the word "kushagara", at it becomes filled with books and loose sheets of paper.

Mai Katahira's house, from the TV Drama. It is a modern, well lit and well ordered house, with an emphasis on open spaces and ambient lights. One highlight of the house is the plush tent that Mai's daughter, Mao, has built and in which she stays inside nearly all the time.

The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, a football stadium. Pannacotta Fugo is summoned there and given his mission by Guido Mista, purposefully to have Fugo in an open space where Purple Haze would pose little threat. It is also indirectly a show of power from Giorno Giovanna, who cancelled a highly anticipated football game for this meeting.

Mars, the fourth planet in the solar system. In the novel, Kars keeps crashing on this planet in (almost) all iterations of the universe, which results in a group of 36 Kars bidding their time on the planet until they can return to Earth. In the 37th Universe, the United States send a spaceship named the H.G. Wells in there. A strange entity named the Eyed Balloon gravitates around this planet.

A temple located in a mountainous area of Kitakami, on the northern part of the main island of Japan. It serves as a secret entrance to the Dress Organization base. Inside, there is a statue that uses devices that scan the eyes of those who want to enter the base, and lets in accepted people.

A testing chamber located somewhere in the Dress Organization base. It is used by Dress scientists to experiment weapons. There is also an observation booth protected with glass that is 46 mm (1.8 in) thick, which is also equipped with safety shutters. Dr. Kasuminome uses this chamber to show his supervisors Baoh's powers.
