Hawaii (ハワイ, Hawai, Hawaiʻi in the Hawaiian language) is a U.S. state and the setting of the ninth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series The JOJOLands.

The State of Hawaii (ハワイ州, Hawai-shū), formerly the sovereign Kingdom of Hawaiʻi (ハワイ王国, Hawai-ōkoku), is located in the North Pacific Ocean, and comprises the Hawaiian Islands (ハワイ諸島, Hawai-shotō) archipelago, which includes the eight main islands called the "Windward Islands" and the smaller and more numerous Northwestern Hawaiian Islands or "Leeward Islands".
The eight Windward Islands are as follows (with names in the indigenous Hawaiian language in parentheses if written differently):
- Hawaii (Hawaiʻi)
- Maui
- Oahu (Oʻahu)
- Kauai (Kauaʻi)
- Molokai (Molokaʻi)
- Lanai (Lānaʻi)
- Niihau (Niʻihau)
- Kahoʻolawe
Oahu
The island of Oahu (オアフ島, Oafu-tō, Oʻahu) is the most populated of the islands and the location of the state capital Honolulu (ホノルル, Honoruru); as the state capital, several administrative buildings can be found in the city, including the Hawaii State Land Registry Office as well as institutions like Pearl General Hospital. Honolulu is also the home of Barbara Ann Joestar and her children Jodio and Dragona, who unbeknownst to their mother have integrated in the city's criminal underground. Honolulu's Kalihi neighborhood is where the upscale boutique Iko Iko is located, owned by Meryl Mei Qi who has Dragona in her employ. Meryl Mei is also the principal of Honolulu's McKinley High School where Jodio, Paco Laburantes, and Usagi Alohaoe are all students, and also with Dragona all of Meryl Mei's criminal underlings.
Hawaii
The island of Hawaii (ハワイ島, Hawai-tō, Hawaiʻi) is the largest of the archipelago, and is colloquially called "The Big Island". It has two international airports, one of which is Kona International Airport (コナ国際空港, Kona Kokusai Kūkō), named after the nearby neighborhood of Kailua-Kona (カイルア・コナ, Kairua Kona). The upscale jewelry boutique Diamotch is located in a shopping center in Kailua-Kona. Charming Man and his brother Mauka are from the Big Island, with Mauka having disappeared in the lava tubes of the Hualālai volcano. The manga artist Rohan Kishibe has a villa on the island as well, having travelled there to examine the Lava Rocks of Hualālai.
In 1843, an Italian sailor with the surname Latrato washed ashore on the Waipiʻo Valley (ワイピオ渓谷, Waipio-keikoku) and fell in love with a local woman. His descendents formed the HOWLER Company and are still legally in control of the northern slopes of Hualālai, with the company's current owner being his descendant Acca Howler, representing the family's eighth generation in Hawaii.
