JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 ダイヤモンドは砕けない, JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Daiyamondo wa Kudakenai) is the third season of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure television anime series produced by David Production. The season, which adapts Part 4 of the manga, Diamond is Unbreakable, was announced at the end of "The Last Crusaders" event celebrating the Stardust Crusaders adaptation on October 24, 2015. The season aired over the course of 39 episodes from April 1, 2016 to December 23, 2016.
An original video animation titled Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe: Millionaire Village, adapting Episode 5 of the spin-off series, was made available on September 20, 2017 to those who had purchased every Blu-ray volume of the series before July 31 of the same year.
Production
Following the success of the first two seasons, a third season of the anime entered production in May 2015. According to character designer and chief animation director Terumi Nishii, "pleasing the 'Boy's Love' (Yaoi) fans" was taken into account when designing the characters for this season, though they retain her regular style.[1]
Media distribution services Crunchyroll and Viz obtained the initial streaming licenses for the anime, which was made available for viewing on Crunchyroll and Viz's websites.
On July 6, 2018, an English dub of the season was announced to begin airing on Toonami. The dub was broadcast from August 18, 2018 to June 8, 2019.
