David Production Inc. (株式会社デイヴィッドプロダクション, Kabushiki-gaisha Deividdo Purodakushon) is a Japanese animation studio known for the anime television series adaptation for the long-running manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
The company was founded by former Gonzo president and producer Kōji Kajita and fellow producer Taito Okiura in September 2007 upon having left Gonzo. The company's first work was as an animation subcontractor, but in 2009 David Production undertook their first full animation production as a primary contractor with Ristorante Paradiso.[1][2][3]

Trivia
- The name of the studio derives from David and Goliath, the biblical underdog story of a young man who overcomes challenges by his creative acumen. It was chosen to represent the company's policy of "creating good animation with great storytelling & characters," despite being relatively small to other notable studios. The name is also an acronym for Design Audio & Visual Illusion Dynamics, signifying the company's value in providing "animation with impact."[6]
