Un jeune Pucci rencontre DIO.

Enrico Pucci est né le 5 juin 1972 aux Etats-Unis au sein d'une famille riche avec un héritage italien. Il avait un frère jumeau nommé Domenico Pucci qui, semblait-il, est mort peu après sa naissance pour une raison inconnue. Enrico Pucci est né avec un pied bot, mais ceci le l'empêcha pas de vivre une enfance normale, tout compte fait. Il vécut une enfance confortable car sa famille était riche et tout le monde l'aimait bien. Un jour, la famille alla visiter la tombe de Domenico Pucci, et Pucci demanda à ses parent qui était-ce, ce à quoi ses parent lui expliquèrent que Domenico était son frère jumeau et qu'il était mort peu après sa naissance. Frappé par cette révélation, le petit Enrico se demanda pourquoi le Destin l'avait épargné et non son frère, et se mit à tourner vers la philosophie pour répondre à ses interrogations. Il s'engagea finalement sur le chemin pour devenir un prêtre. A l'âge de quinze ans, Pucci avait déjà entamé une carrière pour suivre sa vocation, ce qui convenait à ses parents de part leur histoire, certains de leurs ancêtres comprenant des religieux. Un jour, alors que Pucci était occupé à balayer dans une église, Pucci trébucha sur quelqu'un qui se cachait sous une table. Il s'avéra être DIO le Vampire. Pucci fit connaissance avec lui, et préféra le laisser tranquille car il ne gênait personne même s'il était suspect. DIO se prit d'intérêt pour le jeune homme, voyant qu'il avait avec lui un livre qui parlait d'un prêtre qui avait abandonné ses habits pour vivre une vie de péché. DIO, sentant un potentiel en Pucci, lui donna une tête de Flèche, et guérit aussi son pied bot, étonnant Pucci, puis disparut dans l'ombre.

Pucci apprend la vérité sur son frère Wes.

Peu de temps après, alors que Pucci nettoyait un confessionnal, il surprit une femme en pleur qui voulait faire une confession. Pucci décida de l'écouter en l'absence d'un prêtre, et il apprit alors que cette femme était malade. Il apprit aussi que la femme avait secrètement échangé son bébé mort avec l'un des enfants de la famille Pucci il y a des années de cela, et Enrico réalisa que son frère jumeau devait être vivant. Peu après, Pucci apprit aussi que sa petite soeur Perla était tombé amoureuse d'un garçon, un certain "Wes Bluemarine", le fils de la femme dont il avait écouté la confession. Pucci comprit que Wes était son frère Domenico. Pucci voulut mettre fin à cette union incestueuse, mais il ne voulait pas non plus trahir le secret de la confession en tant que prêtre en herbe. Il était donc face à un dilemme.

Pucci lié à DIO.

Pucci voulut agir subtilement et faire en sorte que Wes plaque Perla afin qu'elle puisse s'en remettre. Il engagea alors un détective privé pour intimider Wes et le pousser loin de Perla. Cependant, le détective avait une face caché : il faisait partie du KKK. Le détective fit son enquête et crût alors que le père biologique de Wes était un Noir et que Wes était métisse. Il appela alors son groupe pour lyncher Wes sous les yeux de Perla. Perla en eut le coeur brisé et se jeta d'une falaise dans un lac. Pucci la découvrit dans l'eau alors que les secours repêchaient son corps. Accablé par le chagrin et le déni, Pucci voulut serrer Perla dans ses bras pour s'assurer qu'elle était vivante, en vain. Pucci remarqua alors un DISQUE sortant de la tête de Perla. Soudain, la pointe de flèche que Pucci avait gardé sur lui surgit et lui perça la gorge, et Pucci acquit son Stand Whitesnake qui lui permit de préserver la mémoire de Perla sous forme de DISQUE. Submergé par la tristesse, Pucci ne comprenait pas comment le Destin avait pu être si cruel. Il se rappela de DIO et ressentit un étrange besoin de le retrouver. Pendant ce temps, Wes avait survécu. Ce dernier était aussi chagriné et furieux contre tout le monde d'avoir non seulement perdu Perla, mais aussi sa mère et sa maison car les hommes du Ku Klux Klan y avaient mis le feu. Son pouvoir Heavy Weather commença à transformer tout le monde en escargot. Pucci dut confronter son frère et lui révéla leur lien de parenté. Enrico profita de la surprise de Wes pour lui voler sa mémoire sous forme de DISQUE. Wes fut envoyé à la Prison de Green Dolphin Street sous le nom de "Weather Report" pour tentative de meurtre.

Pucci devient un disciple de DIO.

Pucci parvint à retrouver DIO et ils devinrent amis, passant du temps à discuter de divers sujets. Quelques fois, Pucci allait rendre visite à DIO et d'autres fois DIO allait lui rendre visite. Il commencèrent notamment à parler de comment créer un "monde parfait".

Un jour, Pucci demande à DIO quel Stand était le plus faible, à son avis. DIO lui répondit qu'aucun Stand ne pouvait être vraiment faible car ce qui importe était ce qu'on en faisait, mais DIO lui présentit aussi le Stand Survivor en disant que ce Stand était problématique car son pouvoir attaquait tout le monde sans distinction. Intéréssé, Pucci demanda à l'obtenir pour pouvoir s'en servir un jour au cas où, et il acquit le DISQUE de Survivor.

DIO en vint à faire entièrement confiance à Pucci. Un jour, DIO le testa et le défia de voler The World en colla sa main à sa tête, mais Pucci refusa. DIO s'excusa pour le geste et confia alors à Pucci un os extrait de son corps, lequel lui servirait à compléter leur plan au cas où DIO mourrait.

Après 1988-89 et la mort de DIO des mains de Jotaro Kujo, Pucci prit son mal en patience pendant plusieurs décennies et attendit son heure. Pucci devient un prêtre et devint l'aumônier de la Prison de Green Dolphin Street, en Floride. Il resta aumônier de la prison pendant huit and, devenant au passage l'employé le plus ancien de la prison. Pucci s'allia avec un autre agent de DIO nommé Johngalli A. pour attirer Jotaro dans un piège. Tandis que Johngalli voulait se venger, Pucci avait aussi en tête de récupérer les souvenirs de Jotaro pour compléter le plan de DIO.

Dans la Prison de Green Dolphin Street, Pucci accumula aussi les DISQUES Stand en s'attaquant aux détenus. Il tua notamment la mère d'Emporio Alnino à un moment. Pucci cacha son tas de DISQUES Stand dans la roue d'un tracteur dans les terres agricoles de la prison, et créa Foo Fighters pour en faire le gardien des disques. Il s'y prit en jetant un disque Stand dans l'eau, ce qui permit à une colonie de plancton de devenir intelligente.

Le Coup Monté contre Jolyne Cujoh

Pour exécuter le plan secret de DIO d'atteindre le Paradis, Pucci a besoin des instructions contenues dans le Journal de DIO mais Jotaro Kujo l'a brûlé. Cependant, Pucci sait que Jotaro a du lire le journal. Pour retrouver les instructions de DIO et le venger, Pucci et Johngalli A. mettent en place un plan pour attirer Jotaro dans leur prison et dans leur piège.

Johngalli A. est un criminel connu et un détenu, et c'est lui qui agit en surface pour faire un coup monté. Des exécutants jettent un homme devant la voiture dans laquelle étaient Roméo Jisso et Jolyne Cujoh, la fille de Jotaro. Johngalli fait aussi en sorte que l' avocat véreux de Jolyne la fasse condamner pour meurtre pour guarantir son transfer et incarcération à la Prison de Green Dolphin Street. Jotaro fait son enquête et manque ainsi Pucci, et va alors à Green Dolphin Street seul pour essayer de faire s'évader Jolyne.

Embuscade sur Jotaro et Jolyne

Whitesnake vole la mémoire et le Stand de Jotaro.

Lorsque Jotaro va rendre visite à Jolyne, Pucci et Johngalli A. coopèrent pour l'éliminer. Dans la salle de visite, Pucci fait en sorte que Whitesnake piège Jotaro et Jolyne dans un rêve où ils s'imaginent en train de combattre Johngalli A. et son Manhattan Transfer, mais les JoJos se rendent compte de la supercherie, se réveillent, et réussissent à sortir de la pièce. Dans un couloir, Johngalli A. et Whitensnake parviennent à prendre les héros en tenaille. Jotaro est forcé de s'exposer pour protéger sa fille. Whitesnake en profite alors pour attaquer Jotaro et lui vole deux DISQUES, le disque de Star Platinum et son disque mémoire. Whitesnake disparait dans la prison, laissant Johngalli A. à la merci de Jolyne et de son Stone Free.

Pucci dit aussi à Whitesnake d'exécuter Johngalli A. avec son propre pistolet, afin de cacher son identité et d'éliminer une trace qui mène à lui.

Jolyne Cujoh va se rendre aux gardes et reste en confinement pendant plusieurs semaines. Pucci en profite pour consulter la mémoire de Jotaro et découvrir le plan de DIO. N'ayant aucune utilité pour le disque de Star Platinum, Pucci le stocke avec d'autre disques Stand dans sa cachette sur les terres agricoles. Il donne aussi à Thunder McQueen le Stand Highway to Hell, étant intéressé par la malveillance passive de ce dernier.

Pucci Essaie d'Eliminer Jolyne

Après le combat de Jolyne et Ermes Costello contre Foo Fighters, Pucci participe à la recherche aux détenues manquantes qui ont été tuées durant le combat. Il vérifie ses disques et note leur absence, ainsi que l'absence de toute trace de Foo Fighters. Il en conclut que Jolyne a du reprendre le disque de Star Platinum et réalise qu'elle et ses alliés représente un danger plus grand qu'il n'avait anticipé.

Pucci insère un DISQUE dans Miraschon.

Pucci se décide à envoyer quelqu'un pour récupérer le disque. Il va rencontrer une détenue nommée Miraschon dans le cadre de sa demande de mise en liberté conditionnelle. Miraschon fait part de son grand regret pour ses crimes. Pucci, lui, s'amuse à nouer des queues de cerises avec la langue et déclare que ce qui différencie les hommes des animaux est la recherche du "paradis", disant que c'est ce qui est beau chez l'Homme. Pucci promet de recommander Miraschon à la liberté conditionnelle, la rendant heureuse. Il se rend ensuite compte qu'elle a chipé une croix précieuse et écrase la face de Miraschon sur le coin de la table. Il décide de se servir de Miraschon et lui insère le disque du Stand Marilyn Manson, un Stand qui correspond à sa personnalité. Il lui efface la mémoire et l'envoie attaquer Jolyne et ses amies. Cependant, Miraschon est vaincue et les héros gardent le disque de Star Platinum.

Pucci va ensuite envoyer le détenu Lang Rangler pour essayer de tuer Jolyne et récupérer le DISQUE de Star Platinum. A un moment, Pucci entend un alarme venant du bureau de surveillance de la prison et va voir ce qui ce passe. Il aperçoit alors sur un ordinateur que Jolyne a passé un appel à la Fondation Speedwagon et apprend en écoutant qu'elle veut livrer le disque à un agent de la fondation qui sera posté dans une des cours intérieures de la prison. Pucci va à la lingerie et par précaution lave le cerveau d'un garde pour qu'il garde la cour. Pendant ce temps, Jolyne Cujoh et Weather Report vainquent Lang Rangler.

Pucci coincé sous une pluie de grenouilles vénéneuses.

Lorsque Pucci arrive à la porte (blindée et sécurisée) de la lingerie, il entend quelqu'un frapper et ouvre la porte, croyant que c'est Lang Rangler. Cependant, il tombe nez à nez avec Jolyne. Il se précipite sur l'alarme mais Jolyne le supplie de la laisser passer quelques instants. Pucci voit qu'elle n'a pas compris sa véritable nature et joue le jeu du prêtre innocent. De plus, il sait qu'un allié de Jolyne est caché près d'ici et il ne peut pas l'éliminer sans se compromettre. Il décide alors de laisser Jolyne passer, sachant que le garde qu'il a posté va l'abattre. Pucci reste dans le couloir en fermant la porte de la lingerie derrière lui, alors que le garde tire sur Jolyne. Soudainement, il se met à pleuvoir une myriade de grenouilles vénéneuses qui couvrent la cour intérieure. Des grenouilles brisent la baie vitrée au plafond du couloir et Pucci perd sa carte magnétique dans la confusion. Il réalise alors que Weather Report est là. Pucci est coincé dans le couloir et appelle à l'aide. Un garde survient mais, apeuré, il prétend aller chercher des renforts pour s'enfuir. En colère, Pucci projette une grenouille vers le garde d'un coup de pied et la fait exploser avec un DISQUE pour aveugler le garde. Pucci peut ainsi forcer le garde aveugle à le laisser passer. Pucci se met en sécurité le temps que la pluie de grenouille cesse puis envoie alors Whitesnake dans la cour pour retrouver le DISQUE de Star Platinum.

Cependant, alors que Whitesnake ramasse le disque, Jolyne se révèle. Elle était couverte de grenouille vénéneuse mais s'est tissé un filet de sécurité avec d'autres grenouilles comme coussin, ce qui lui a permis de se protéger. Elle chipe le disque des mains de Whitesnake et le passe à un pigeon messager envoyé par la Fondation Speedwagon. Whitesnake essaie de tirer sur le pigeon avec le revolver du garde mais il est à sec. Sans option, il ne peut que revenir auprès de Pucci. Pucci va trouver un fil attaché au pied de Whitesnake et le coupe. Pucci a perdu le disque mais il est toujours caché et son plan n'est pas affecté car il a toujours les souvenirs de Jotaro.

Le Bébé Vert

Pucci then carries on to his original plan and meets Sports Maxx at the chapel. He then asks Maxx to revive DIO's Bone with his powers, which results in the bone's disappearance. After a short moment of panic, Pucci understands that the plan is being carried out and resolves to wait for the bone to reappear of its own volition. However, Sports Maxx reveals that he senses the bone's presence in the Ultra Security House Unit.

Pucci confronts Foo Fighters

After Ermes's battle against Sports Maxx, Jolyne is thrown into the Ultra Security House Unit. Pucci decides to send in four assassins to kill the isolated Jolyne before she retrieves the bone.

Nonetheless, three of the assassins are dispatched and only D an G is left. When Pucci arrives at the Ultra Security House Unit, the whole population has been transformed into a giant tree, with only D an G and Guccio still alive, but injured. Meanwhile, Jolyne and Narciso Anasui have escaped into the swamp. Seeing that he is getting closer to Heaven, Pucci finds Guccio's corpse and celebrates the coming of heaven by listening to Handel's Messiah by using Guccio as a loudspeaker. Pucci plans on interrogating D an G about the bone, but his plans are thrown into disarray.

Pucci sees a disguised F.F. approaching D an G to assassinate him. Worried, Pucci throws a DISC at a guard to control him to prevent F.F. from shooting D an G in the head. Pucci confronts F.F. openly and gives it a choice between killing him or D an G first. F.F. hesitates, allowing Whitesnake to infiltrate the ambulance and protect D an G. Whitesnake then chops F.F.'s head, aiming to take the Stand DISC. F.F. shoots itself in the head, dispersing the plankton on D an G and decapitating from the inside. It recomposes itself in the driver's cabin and seeks another faucet. However, Whitesnake enters the cabin and takes the advantage in the close quarters fight. Desperate, F.F. shoots the door and flees. Pucci tries to interrogate F.F. about the life form that was created but realizes that the Stand DISC is in F.F.'s legs which are running towards the faucet. Whitesnake inserts a water boiling Stand in F.F.'s secondary part, causing the primary part to expose itself to scalding water, killing most of the colony. However, bits of Foo Fighters reach a radio and call Weather Report, who makes it rain and fog. F.F. regenerates.

Pucci fuses with the Green Baby

Nonetheless, Pucci disguises Whitesnake as Weather Report and fools Foo Fighters, who brings him to Jolyne and The Green Baby. Whitesnake impales Anasui and Foo Fighters, but Jolyne cuffs herself to Pucci. Pucci has an advantage in that he merely needs to extract Jolyne's Stand or memory DISC to win, but he is overwhelmed and must use Jotaro's memory DISC. He throws the DISC into Anasui's dying corpse, forcing her to try to save him while Pucci finally rejoins the Green Baby. Pucci tells the baby The 14 Phrases which results in their fusion. Pucci has now entered DIO's world. Having no more need for the prison, Pucci leaves for Cape Canaveral where the next stage of his plan will be set in motion.

Hors de Prison : Les Fils de DIO

Pucci with Donatello Versus, Ungalo and Rikiel

Pucci must now reach Cape Canaveral and await the new moon, which will enable Pucci to fulfill the next part of DIO's plan. On the way to Cape Canaveral, Pucci fatefully meets three young men: Ungalo, Rikiel and Donatello Versus. All three were brought to a hospital, near which Pucci is taken hostage by Ungalo. However, Pucci ultimately sways Ungalo to his side and then makes all three men realize that they are the sons of DIO, and helps them awaken and master their respective Stands. Pucci spends the next three days waiting with the bedridden Donatello while Ungalo and Rikiel go confront the Joestar Group.

Three days before the new moon, Jolyne and Ermes manage to reach the hospital. Donatello then awakens Under World and lures the two into a cavern where a fight ensues. During the battle, Pucci stays passive and counsels Donatello, who grows increasingly frustrated at Pucci's perceived scorn. Donatello uses Under World to find Weather Report's memory disc on Pucci and reads it. When he is defeated, he gives it to Weather who was near the hospital, angering Pucci.

Heavy Weather Déchainé

Heavy Weather's power begins to wreak havoc in Orlando as Weather's Memory DISC was returned to him by Donatello Versus' Under World. Pucci thus leaves the hospital and begins chasing Weather. Knowing about the subliminal power of Heavy Weather, Pucci hides in ambush under a mass of snails. He manages to cut off Weather's right leg during a surprise attack. When Anasui tries to rush toward Pucci to attack him, several snails lunge toward him, infecting him as well. Pucci declares himself victorious and turns his back to the duo, but Weather suddenly jumps to him, his right leg replaced with that of Diver Down. A close quarter fight ensues, but Weather Report is more powerful and its ability to manipulate gusts of winds violently propel Pucci toward a car. Weather closes in and uses a karate chop on Pucci, but the priest decides to reflect the sun's rays with a wing mirror. Anasui's transformation is drastically accelerated and Diver Down is disabled, crippling Weather again.

Pucci cuts off Weather's remaining leg, shocking Anasui who attacks the priest. Angry, Pucci punches Anasui with Whitesnake and almost finishes him off. However, Pucci suddenly impales his foot on an ice spike, and finds himself unable to move without risking impalement. Weather used his Stand to freeze his blood which has splattered all over the place and trap Pucci in a maze of spikes, cornering him. Weather crawls toward Pucci to attack him while he's immobilized, but Pucci plunges Whitesnake's hand into Anasui's head to brainwash him, forcing him to reveal the positions of the spikes and escape. However, Anasui notices too late that a spike has formed on Pucci's chest, menacing to impale the latter's head. Moreover, Weather uses the air pressure to disequilibrate him, but Pucci is determined to avoid the attack; he breaks several spikes, throwing them at Weather in the hopes that Weather tries to protect himself and weakens his attack. However, Weather calmly suffers being impaled by the spikes thanks to his death wish, only freezing the blood further to tie Pucci. Now in range, Weather Report punches Pucci and immobilizes him to the ground. Pucci tries to beg Weather, but he shuts him up, declaring that Pucci is an evil oblivious of his evilness, and goes for a finishing punch.

Suddenly, a car crashes next to them, causing chaos and separating the twin brothers. It was Versus, who rode alongside Jolyne, Ermes and Emporio but crashed, unable to control the car after Weather unwittingly created a cloud of dust. Jolyne feels that Pucci is nearby, but the priest has already punched through Weather's chest, supposedly aided by Fate. Pucci then departs for the Kennedy Space Center.

A Cap Canaveral : C-Moon

In Cape Canaveral, the Kennedy Space Center, Pucci begins to feel his Stand turning into something else entirely. He eventually awakens C-Moon, which manipulates the surrounding gravity, and Pucci becomes the center of a gravitational anomaly. When the Joestar Group and Ermes arrive at Cape Canaveral, Pucci hides and sends C-Moon to battle them. Although C-Moon proves to be dangerous, Jolyne's experience allows her to take advantage. Pucci is forced to reveal himself and personally pilot it. Using himself, he puts Jolyne at a disadvantage and has C-Moon strike Jolyne at the heart. Jolyne "falls" away from him, and Pucci is sure of his victory.

However, Jolyne survived thanks to Stone Free and continues to battle him. Pucci grabs a gun, but Jotaro Kujo freezes time and uses his stand to punch Pucci. Jotaro and Ermes have rejoined with the group and Pucci finds himself cornered.

Made in Heaven

Pucci et Made in Heaven

At this moment, he realizes that his condition allows him to recreate the exact environmental conditions needed to awaken the ultimate power. Pucci gravitates to a space shuttle, even avoiding a spear thrown by Jotaro, thanks to a lingering ability to move in the time-stop, and subsequently evolves his Stand further. The priest now commands Made in Heaven and begins the next step of his plan. Pucci accelerates time, causing chaos across the earth as all living beings are left lagging behind.

Pucci's time acceleration gives him a great edge in battle, but Star Platinum's time stop still represents a danger, despite Pucci's time acceleration being able to cancel Jotaro's time stop early. Pucci carefully corners the group on a roof but his attempt to slit Jotaro's throat is thwarted by Anasui's Diver Down which takes the brunt of the damage. The group then goes into the sea, where Pucci would be easily seen. However, time starts to accelerate even more, throwing a wrench in their plan. Pucci grabs Stone Free's hand and uses it to attack Anasui. He also brings down knives upon the group, forcing Jotaro into another dilemma and then kills him by splitting his face in two, bisecting his head. A knife falling down hits Jolyne and then Pucci chops Ermes's left arm off. Believing Emporio to be the only left alive, Pucci offers him a chance to shoot him and die as a martyr. Pucci dodges the bullets, but then he's surprised by Emporio seemingly hovering over the water and moving away, Pucci then notices that Jolyne isn't dead and gets attacked by her as she ties Emporio onto a dolphin and sacrifices herself for him to escape. Time proceeds to accelerate even more leading to a new universe to be created.

A new universe is born in which every person has received precognitive abilities for the purpose of accepting their fate. However, the only obstacle that remained in his way is Emporio Alnino. Thus, Pucci stops the acceleration at the time of Jotaro's visit to the prison in order to prevent Emporio from interfering and eventually grow into yet another threat. Chasing the child throughout the Green Dolphin Street Prison of his alternate universe, Pucci explains his beliefs and eventually corners him in his ghost room. However, when Emporio flees through the crack leading to the ghost room, Pucci inadvertently pushes the Weather Report DISC into Emporio who exploited the blind angle created when Jolyne cut his eye.

Pucci's death at the hands of Weather Report

Now with Weather Report, Emporio has the power to fight Pucci. The priest accelerates time, but collapses to the ground; Weather Report has increased the oxygen level of the atmosphere and turned Pucci's power against him by accelerating his oxygen poisoning. Pucci angrily demands that Emporio stop Weather Report from killing him, saying that his ideal world for humanity's happiness would be ruined, only to be told by Emporio that he lost to "fate" and that it's the true path of justice before finally being beaten to death by Weather Report. His universe then resets into an alternate timeline, in which Jolyne and company meet up coincidentally and the Joestar bloodline survives.

It is unknown what happened to Pucci afterward. It may either imply that he has been completely erased from history, or replaced by an alternate counterpart of his own.

JORGE JOESTAR

The information below derives from a source not written by Araki. As such, it may or may not be considered canon.

Pucci and Whitesnake

In the light novel JORGE JOESTAR, an incarnation of Enrico Pucci lives in the 37th universe. He is a secondary antagonist in the novel. Like his original universe counterpart, he wields Whitesnake, which later evolves into C-Moon and Made in Heaven throughout the story.

Background

17 year old Pucci sleepwalking

When Pucci was seventeen, he had a habit of sleepwalking out of the house. His family moved to Cape Canaveral since it was easier to keep an eye on him there with the air force base, but Pucci still slipped out one night in July, 1997, and awoke at the church his father worked at. When he rushed back home, he found he no longer had a home, as it was crushed by a falling meteor. It wasn't a rock which killed his family, but rather a metal plate from the Giotto probe. Besides the ID, fourteen phrases written in Italian and English were scratched onto the metal plate along with an excerpt of how to reach heaven.

Pucci was in a seminary school at the time. He then served as the priest at a prison before suddenly becoming an astronaut. Trying to find the way to heaven, he joins Captain Funnier Valentine, Goyathlay Soundman, and Pocoloco Tripleseven on a trip to Mars.

Aboard the H.G. Wells Spaceship in 2012, two boys named Jorge Joestar and Narancia Ghirga suddenly arrive from thin air. They are caught and tied up by Funnier and his group of astronauts. Pucci introduces himself and asks for their names. Since Narancia couldn't speak English, Jorge answers for him. Pucci sees the mark of Passione on Narancia's knife and moves onto other questions. The crew is surprised to learn that they somehow appeared there from Morioh and Nero Nero Island. Jorge also recalls that he read about Pucci in the news, due to his sudden change in occupation. Narancia attempts to attack the astronauts but Pucci eventually puts him into an illusion with Whitesnake's "Melt Your Heart" ability. He then uses Whitesnake to pull out two DISCs from Narancia's head and one DISC from Jorge's head. Pucci reads their memories before putting Jorge's DISC back in, and then informs Jorge that the boy still doesn't properly understand what Tsukumojuku Kato told him yet.

Slapping Narancia

Pocoloco notices that someone from outside is approaching them, about to destroy the spaceship. He tells Pucci to wake Narancia up to see if he could move his submarine Stand. Pucci inserts Narancia's DISCs back in and tells him that God has forgiven his sins already. Narancia is extremely confused when he wakes up, as he had been seeing an illusion that he killed all of the astronauts already. Pucci manipulates him by saying Narancia has no reason to kill them as they are his friends. Narancia doesn't argue back and Jorge is terrified of Pucci's manipulative capabilities, certain that Pucci must be evil. Narancia explains that he can't move his submarine because it can only move inside living things or other Stands, but Soundman's Dune had gone too far and became ordinary sand again. Narancia enthusiastically suggests blowing up the third moon, causing Pucci to slap him. His DISC ejects but Pucci pushes it back in after saying he hates boys who don't have manners.

When The Funniest Valentine transmits photographs of The Eyed Balloon's interior, Pucci notices the multiple Giotto probes and wonders if it has something to do with the fourteen words. The Funniest then gives them an ultimatum to escape The Eyed Balloon's tentacles in ten minutes or they will detonate the H.G. Wells spaceship remotely to prevent Kars from returning to Earth. Soundman and Pucci go with Narancia on a giant U-Boat submarine toward Kars. A couple of minutes later, Funnier suddenly betrays his crew. He kills Pocoloco, then shoots Narancia as well. He insults Pucci for being a self-absorbed sinner and reveals that he has been negotiating with Kars for eleven years ever since he read the message on the metal plate that fell on Pucci's house. He shoots Pucci and Soundman attempts to fight Funnier, but is killed. As Funnier escapes, Narancia reveals that U-Boat caught the bullet in his forehead so he didn't actually die. He fires a cruise missile which collides with the escape pod, killing Funnier.

Before the H.G. Wells ship explodes, Jorge jumps into the hole of the submarine and Narancia immediately pilots it away. However, Kars also enters the submarine. Kars declares that he can finally go back home but with the three of them there, the oxygen in the submarine would only last four hours. The Eyed Balloon is revealed to be 36 different versions of Kars, who sacrifice themselves to make a new spaceship as well as fuel. Kars then carries the submarine into his spaceship after ordering Narancia to shrink it. Jorge wonders why Kars said there were three of them since Kars doesn't need to breathe, and then notices Pucci lying on the ground. Pucci had been saved by Soundman's sand, so Funnier's bullet did not reach his head.

Punched by Whitesnake Ultimate

Narancia tries sneakily putting U-Boat inside Kars, but Kars feels it inside him and pulls it out. After dismantling it and learning how it works, Kars creates his own version. Experimenting with his new Stand, Kars generates an extremely loud sonar sound from within Jorge and Pucci's bodies. Kars discovers that Pucci has a Stand as well and drags Whitesnake out of Pucci's back. Pucci has Whitesnake punch Kars, but rather than one or two DISCs emerging, a whole flood of DISCs spill out of Kars's head. Understanding how Whitesnake works, Kars develops his own version, Whitesnake Ultimate. Whitesnake Ultimate pulls out Pucci's Stand and memory DISCs. He then watches Pucci's memories and sees that the priest got his Stand from the Devil's Palm, a holy spot in America that moves itself from place to place and those that wander into it would either unleash their Stand or die. Kars is disappointed at how dull human memories are and slams the DISC back into Pucci's head. However, he reveals that thanks to Pucci's memories, their six month trip back to Earth will only take four hours. Kars projects an image from Pucci's memories showing a vampire in the sky at the time Pucci's house was destroyed. Kars wasn't the one who threw the metal plate that killed Pucci's family, but instead this vampire did.

Realizing "Via Dolorosa"

At Earth's orbit, Pucci informs the deaths of Funnier, Sandman, and Pocoloco to the communications officer over the radio. As Pucci stares at the islands and Arrow Cross House out the window, he points out the "Rhinoceros Beetles" and the "Via Dolorosa", which are part of the fourteen words carved on the Giotto plate.

London

The spaceship of Kars smashes into the Arrow Cross House as Jorge assumes that they all are about to die. However, Kars saves them by transforming his body into a sphere. Kars returns to his humanoid form, albeit in a damaged state. The extra Kars that were covering the spaceship burned up just above the surface of Earth. Kars thinks that they were short of one extra version of him for a proper landing but Pucci states that 36 should have been enough, believing the number to have holy significance. As they step outside, Jorge realizes that they are actually in England from the original universe rather than the 37th universe's Morioh.

Jorge tells Narancia that they should check out the other Jorge's home but Pucci says that they should go to the capital, London, as something waits for them in 'Desolation Row'. However, Narancia then sees three zombie men fighting to eat a little girl. Narancia kills the three men but the girl becomes a zombie herself. Jorge, Narancia, and Pucci fight off the zombies with their Stands. Riding a large U-Boat, they decide to flee to the Joestar mansion and take Kars with them.

Pucci reveals the "Fig Tart"

After Jorge talks with Penelope de la Rosa, she decides to join their group and heads back with him to U-Boat. Penelope introduces herself to Kars and Pucci and then explains everything that happened so far in England, as well as her abilities. After talking with Jorge, Pucci is happy to learn that all they need now is one more 'Rhinoceros Beetle', a 'Spiral Staircase', two 'Singularities', and the 'Secret Emperor'. He reveals that the 'Fig Tart' was the sweet scent made from Kars's body burning during their reentry to Earth.

Pucci and C-Moon

Meeting the "Secret Emperor"

The group arrives at London, where Pucci is greeted by Funny Valentine. Funny reveals that Manhattan Island is the final 'Rhinoceros Beetle'. With Funny's help, Pucci learns that the two 'Singularities' is his connection with himself. Pucci knows Funny Valentine well in his own universe, but not this version of Funny from another universe, thus creating a 'Spiral Staircase'. Finally, Funny introduces them to the 'Secret Emperor', Dio Brando. Seeing holes in Dio's hands and feet, Pucci weeps for his lord as arrows appear all over Whitesnake's body. Pucci levitates and becomes the center of gravity, unleashing his new Stand C-Moon. However, C-Moon's body then cracks and Made in Heaven emerges from it.

Pucci and Made in Heaven

Just before Pucci could activate Made in Heaven, Dio holds up his hand. The giant wall surrounding Great Britain formed the upside-down upper half of a giant version of Antonio Torres. The giant Antonio looks down at them and grabs Pucci, swallowing him to send him outside of the barrier. Pucci then activates Made in Heaven within Antonio's belly, speeding up time outside England. The universe loops 36 times, bringing the island of Great Britain to 2012 in the 37th universe. Jorge wonders if their six month journey from Mars back to Earth only took four hours because of Pucci, but Kars reveals that the priest had a complicated flow of time compressed within him. At the same time he was on the spaceship with them, he was also in another universe killing someone.

Arrow Cross House

In the 37th universe, Pucci lures Yoshikage Kira (actually Kosaku Kawajiri) and Diavolo to Arrow Cross House after setting the two against each other. As time loops from Bites the Dust and King Crimson constantly activating, Pucci speeds up time with Made in Heaven and compresses it until neither of them could move at all, then slits their throats.

Furious with Giorno

At night, the original universe's George Joestar deduces how the two criminals were killed in Arrow Cross House. After learning that Diavolo is actually an alternate personality of Giorno Giovanna, Pucci arrives, stating that Giorno shouldn't blame God for abandoning him. Pucci divulges that Giorno couldn't bear the burden of his sins and created an alternate personality in his mind, so he could play the hero while his alter ego, Diavolo, was punished for his dirty deeds. Giorno smiles, revealing that manipulating Pucci was all part of his father's plan and now the priest no longer has any use to him. Flustered, Pucci tells Giorno to shut up and rapidly speeds up time, threatening to slaughter all of Giorno's men.

Giorno points to a rhinoceros beetle flying in the air, turning it back into an Arrow with his Gold Experience. He had turned Reimi Sugimoto's Arrow into a living being to prevent the flow of time from damaging it. Giorno then explains that there are actually three more Arrows, causing Reimi to violently eject the remaining ones out of her as well. Giorno laughs about these Arrows being the real four rhinoceros beetles. With the Arrow, he evolves his Stand into Gold Experience Requiem. His evolved Stand immediately sends Pucci to a world where he'll wander for eternity with all his desires and actions being in vain.

Fujiko's Bizarre Worldly Wisdom

Enrico Pucci notices Fujiko Fujiyama's drawing skills and deems that she's compatible with the Stand Bad Romance. He thus grants her the Stand in hopes of eliminating Jolyne Cujoh. Pucci closely watches Fujiko approach Jolyne then give her a sketch, which is the trigger for the Stand. He follows Fujiko into the chapel and secretly watches Fujiko from the shadows. However, Pucci realizes that Fujiko is drawing "religious art" of Jolyne. Offended and fearing that Fujiko may grant Jolyne more spiritual strength via Bad Romance, Pucci rapidly takes the Bad Romance DISC from Fujiko, which knocks her out. Pucci realises his mistake and erases Fujiko's memories of Jolyne.
