Weather Report is similarly separated from his body upon meeting [[Van Gogh's Self-Portrait]]. Though the two heroes attempt to prevent the stories from moving forward, the two ultimately collide with each other and are both fatally wounded. However, Weather has Van Gogh's portrait create a new character named {{MN|PUT BACK}}, who returns all of the fictional characters and separated souls to their proper places. Struck with horror at the nullification of his ability, Ungalo slips into a coma. Meanwhile, Jolyne reunites with Romeo, who begs for her forgiveness and gives her the keys to his helicopter. |

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 ストーンオーシャン, JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Sutōn Ōshan) is the fifth season of the television anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Animation, produced by David Production and Warner Bros. Japan. An adaptation of the sixth part of the manga, Stone Ocean, the season was officially announced on April 4, 2021 during the JOESTAR The Inherited Soul event, with Fairouz Ai announced as the voice actress for the part’s protagonist Jolyne Cujoh.[1]
Netflix acquired the initial distribution rights for the season, which released as an ONA across 38 episodes in three sets: the first twelve episodes were released on December 1, 2021, episodes 13-24 released on September 1, 2022, and the final fourteen episodes debuted on December 1, 2022. In addition, the series began airing on Japanese television on January 7, 2022, and concluded broadcasting on April 8, 2023.
Production
Sometime before October 2020, the fifth season of the anime entered production.[2] On August 8, 2021, it was announced that the season would be premiering worldwide exclusively on Netflix.[3] Later, during the Netflix Festival Japan live stream on November 8, 2021, Netflix announced that the first twelve episodes of the anime would be released worldwide on December 1, 2021 and aired on Japanese television starting on January 7, 2022.[4]
Over half a year later, on July 1, 2022, a new trailer debuted at the Warner Bros. panel at Anime Expo showcasing footage from episodes 13-24, which were announced to be releasing worldwide on Netflix on September 1, 2022 and airing on Japanese television from October 7, 2022 onward.[5]
On October 7, 2022, at a Warner Bros. Japan special event, the final fourteen episodes of the series were revealed to be releasing on Netflix on December 1, 2022, and later began airing on Japanese television on December 23, 2022.[6]
