Takashi Tanaka (田中 崇, Tanaka Takashi), better known under the stage name Banjo Ginga (銀河 万丈, Ginga Banjō), is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator affiliated with Aoni Production. He is credited for his role as Daniel J. D'Arby in the anime adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.

He is also notebale for voicing Gihren Zabi in Mobile Suit Gundam, Souther in Fist of the North Star, Heihachi Mishima and Jack in the Tekken series, and Liquid Snake in the Metal Gear series.

Biography

Takashi Tanaka was born in Kōfu, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan in 1948.

He graduated from Seikei University and while there he participated in theater and the creation of radio dramas. In 1976 he debut as a voice actor for an anime by voicing various characters in Divine Demon-Dragon Gaiking.[2]

He is married to Japanese actress and voice actress Gara Takashima and the two of them had played roles in overlapping projects, such as Fist of the North Star and Detective Conan.

He also proficently works in dubbing media for Japanese audiences, and narrators for various Japanese televion stations and commericals.[2]
