Yoji Ueda (上田 燿司, Ueda Yōji) is a Japanese voice actor. He is credited for his work as the voice actor for the character Robert E. O. Speedwagon in the anime adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

He is also known for his roles as Gamakichi in Naruto, Drive Knight in One Punch Man, Paz in Ghost in the Shell, Alexis Leskinen in Steins;Gate 0, and Leif Erikson in Vinland Saga.

Ueda was also the host of JoJo raDIO, a web-based radio program that released during the broadcast of the TV anime's first season. He was superseded by Jotaro Kujo's voice actor, Daisuke Ono, who hosted ORAORAdio the following season.

Ueda was born in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan on August 7, 1971. His name was originally spelled Yoji Ueda (上田陽司, Ueda Yōji) until he changed the third kanji in April 2008. His wife is the voice actor, Yūko Nagashima. Ueda graduated from the Faculty of Law at Kansai University and Tokyo Announcement Voice Actor Academy, and is currently affiliated with the Japanese talent agency, Amuleto.[2]

  • Ueda struggled the most with "making sure Speedwagon sounded like a good guy", despite his mannerisms in Part 1. He also found it more difficult to do vigorous lines while taking into account Speedwagon was much older in Part 2.[3]
  • Ueda's favorite season one character, not including his own, was Joseph Joestar. He likes Joseph's emotive and mean, yet appealing nature.[3]
