Yuichi Nakamura (中村 悠一, Nakamura Yūichi) is a Japanese voice actor who is most notably known for voicing the characters Narciso Anasui and Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He is a friend of Tomokazu Sugita, who is also a voice actor.

He has voiced numerous characters in other media, such as Tomoya Okazaki in Clannad, Gray Fullbuster in Fairy Tail, Tsukasa Shishio in Dr. Stone, Yuuki Terumi and Hazama in BlazBlue, and Hawks in My Hero Academia.

Nakamura won the Best Japanese Voice Actor Performance award for his performance as Bruno Bucciarati in the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2020.[1]

Biography

Yuichi Nakamura was born in 1980 in Kagawa Prefecture. After graduating from high school, Nakamura moved to Tokyo to become a voice actor.He entered Yoyogi Animation Gakuin and started living in a dormitory. While attending school, he appeared as a waiter in the drama CD "Taisho Roman Zasshi" starring Takehito Koyasu[2]. After graduating from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin, he worked at Tokyo Drama House, Toritori Office, and Sigma Seven. Nakamura made his debut in the OVA D+VINE[LUV]. Nakamura's breakthrough role is possibly his role as Rufus in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Since then he's gained recognition and played more and more lead roles.

In 2008, Nakamura won the 18th Best Male Voice Actor Award for the anime Nonko and Nobita's Anime Scramble.[3]

In 2016, Nakamura won the 3rd Yahoo! Search Awards Person Category Voice Actor Category Award.[4]
