Romi Park (朴 璐美 (박 로미), Paku Romi) is a Korean–Japanese voice actress, stage actress, and singer. She is notable for her role as Giorno Giovanna in GioGio's Bizarre Adventure, a PS2 video game based on Vento Aureo, as well as Koichi Hirose in the Bandai Namco video games All-Star Battle and Eyes of Heaven.

She is also famous for voicing several characters in other anime such as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Toshiro Hitsugaya in Bleach, Temari in Naruto, Zoë Hange in Attack on Titan, Nana Osaki in Nana, Ren Tao in Shaman King, Pakunoda in Hunter × Hunter (2011), Naoto Shirogane in Persona 4, Komatsu in Toriko, and many more.

Biography

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Romi Park graduated from the Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music in 1992. Her breakthrough role in the voice acting industry came in 1999, where she starred in Turn A Gundam as the main character Loran Cehack. She would later receive an award as Best Voice Actress for her role as Edward Elric and Nana Osaki at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2004 and 1st Seiyu Awards 2006 respectively.[3]

Aside from her roles as a voice actress, Park is also prominent in theater arts. She debuted on stage in 1993 under the theatrical group Yen. In 2017, she left the group to establish her own entertainment and voice actor office, namely LAL. In 2019, she starred as Madame Thénardier in the Japanese version of the musical Les Miserables.[3]

On January 22, 2020, she announced that she had married to fellow actor Kazuhiro Yamaji.[4]
