Doug Erholtz
Doug Erholtz is an American voice actor based out of Los Angeles, California. He is credited for his work as the voice actor for the character Jean Pierre Polnareff in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind's English dubs.
He is also well known for his roles as Gin Ichimaru in Bleach, Inspector Zenigata in Lupin the Third, Asuma Sarutobi and Kankuro in Naruto, Hamrio Musica in Rave Master and Squall Leonhart in Final Fantasy.
Biography
Doug Erholtz was born on February 21, 1971 in Michigan, United States. Graduating from Michigan State University with a double major in Advertising and Theatre, he had moved to Chicago, Illinois for an advertising internship before moving again to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.[2] While working as an executive assistant in the music department of Saban Entertainment, he landed his first voiceover role singing "Mummies Have Mommies too" in The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley: The Case of the Fun House Mystery (1995).[3] He officially began his voice acting career in 1998 providing the voice for Toshiro in Vampire Princess Miyu.[4] He has since then voiced in numerous anime series and video games and is currently working on personal animation projects.

Trivia
- Erholtz had also applied for the voice of Iggy in Stardust Crusaders, a role that notably "everybody wanted". He had planned to give Polnareff a French accent, but was ultimately told not to by producers due to the poor reception accents had from the previous season.[2]
