Daiki Yamashita (山下 大輝, Yamashita Daiki) is a Japanese voice actor. He is credited for his work as the voice actor for the character Narancia Ghirga in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.

He is also well known for his roles as Izuku Midoriya in My Hero Academia, Sakamichi Onoda in Yowamushi Pedal, Yushiro Yamamoto in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Mitsuru Sotsuda in Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma.

Biography

Daiki Yamashita was born in 1989 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. At first, Yamashita was interested in singing so he studied at the Muse academy of music for 2 years in Tokyo.[4][5] During his studies, he became more interested in acting and joined the Japan Narration Actor Institute.[4] His first genuine role in voice acting was in the anime Little Busters! in 2012-2013. His first starring role was in the anime adaptation of Gaist Crusher in 2013-2014.

At the 8th Seiyu Awards in 2014, Yamashita won the award for Best Male Newcomer.[6]
