The vehicles featured in this list do not have enough information to justify an article, mainly due to lack of relevance, but are still notable. Throughout the series, several characters have their own unique vehicles, some of which have appeared in various covers and video games.
A carriage that George Joestar I, Mary Joestar, and their baby son Jonathan Joestar ride together in 1868 on a rainy day. The carriage slips off of a cliff, killing the driver and Mary.
A ship sailing on the Atlantic Ocean, headed to America. Jonathan and Erina board the ship for their honeymoon. It is infiltrated by Dio Brando and Wang Chan who turns the majority of passengers into zombies. The ship eventually explodes, with no survivors aside from Erina, a baby, and Dio.
An airplane owned by Robert E. O. Speedwagon when Joseph Joestar was 13 years old. The plane was hijacked by a group of criminals who wanted Speedwagon's money. Joseph causes the plane to crash, but saves himself, Speedwagon, and the pilot.
A "Zuom" car owned by a driver who yells at Joseph to get out of the way. Joseph forces him to drive them to a downtown New York Italian restaurant. In the anime, the man is changed to an actual taxi driver and his car has a taxi sign.
A boat from Air Supplena Island which Lisa Lisa, Joseph, and Caesar use to travel. While they're on the boat, Lisa Lisa demonstrates the power of the Red Stone of Aja, which destroys a part of the boat's stern. It is omitted from the anime.
A plane which Rudol von Stroheim and his group of Nazis bring to Piz Berlina Ruins. Joseph hijacks it so that he could lure Kars away to Vulcano Island. The plane eventually crashes Kars into the lava lake at the center of Vulcano Island.
A cruiser found off the coast of the Canary Islands, on the Atlantic Ocean. It is here that, 100 years ago, the VampireDIO was imprisoned at the bottom of the ocean. A group of treasure hunters retrieve the coffin in which DIO was stuck and free the Vampire.
A Japan Airlines passenger plane that was headed from Japan to Egypt. Unfortunately, the heroes are attacked by Gray Fly and his Tower of Gray. Tower of Gray is defeated, but not before the pilots are slaughtered. Joseph Joestar is forced to attempt an emergency water landing.
A ship headed from Hong Kong to Singapore, across the South China Sea. However, it was infiltrated by the Impostor Captain Tennille, who is defeated but sabotages the boat, making it explode. The heroes and the crew are forced to evacuate the sinking ship.
A massive freighter which is in reality a small, old ship which has the stand Strength bound to it, allowing Forever complete control over it. When Forever is defeated it turns back into the original ship that the stand was bound to.
The Singapore Cable Car is a gondola lift from Mount Faber to Sentosa across the Keppel Harbor. It opened in 1974 and was the first ropeway system in the world to span a harbor. It is here that Rubber Soul reveals himself and fights Jotaro Kujo.
During the fight against Hanged Man, Noriaki Kakyoin and Jean Pierre Polnareff drive this car in an effort to escape from the enemy. However, it crashes when Kakyoin sees Hanged Man in the steering wheel and violently swerves. It resembles a Lancia Appia pickup.
A car that was driven across Northern India to the border of Pakistan. They border the Himalayas and thus the landscape is very mountainous with winding roads and dangerous crevices. The Joestar Group is harrassed by Wheel of Fortune on the way to Pakistan.
A submarine Avdol bought under the guise of a rich Arab so that the Joestar Group could cross the Red Sea unnoticed and reach Egypt. Unfortunately, High Priestess invaded the submarine and damaged it, forcing the Group to evacuate the submarine. It subsequently sank to the bottom of the sea.
A helicopter of the Speedwagon Foundation. When the heroes arrive in Egypt, they receive the visit of two Speedwagon Foundation agents who bring them supplies and Iggy with this helicopter. Later, Geb attacks it and makes it crash by killing the pilots.
When night falls in Cairo, Joseph Joestar buys this pickup truck from a random Egyptian citizen so that he and Kakyoin can flee from DIO. It crashes when Wilson Phillips is thrown into the vehicle's cabin, making Joseph lose control of the vehicle.
A limousine owned by Wilson Phillips. DIO steals it and forces Philips to become his chauffeur. It is partially damaged by Hierophant Green. DIO later leaves it to crash Joseph's pickup.
A road roller lying somewhere in Cairo. DIO uses it in the final battle by stopping time and jumping high in the sky with it to land on Jotaro, attempting to crush him with it. The road roller remains a fairly iconic item of the series and is often associated with DIO.
A used[1]Kawasaki Zephyr (written Zophyr in the manga) motorcycle belonging to Okuyasu Nijimura. When Josuke, Koichi, Jotaro and Okuyasu try to meet away from electrical sources, Okuyasu arrives on this bike. However, Red Hot Chili Pepper hid in the bike's battery, allowing it to eavesdrop on the heroes' conversation. Red Hot Chili Pepper tries to flee on the bike but Okuyasu catches up to it and destroys it.
A remote controlled plane resembling a Supermarine Spitfire which Akira Otoishi planned to use to get his Stand Red Hot Chili Pepper to Joseph Joestar's boat in three minutes. It can go as fast as 150kmph.
Morioh possesses a bus transit system that allows the citizens of Morioh to quickly go from one point of the town to another, and even connects Morioh to other cities.
Rohan's car, which appears in the Another One Bites the Dust story arc. It is non-descript in the manga, but the anime takes inspiration from a Nissan 300ZX to model the car.
Naples' funicular, allowing the inhabitants to go up and down the city's slopes without moving. Bruno Bucciarati fights Giorno in the city's funicular.
A boat that Bruno Bucciarati rents in order to lead his team to Capri. It is covered with a second boat by Mario Zucchero and the theater of the fight between Bruno and Leone Abbacchio against Zucchero.
A car Narancia uses to go buy groceries for the team while they hide in the countryside. Rented in Bucciarati's name, it is wrecked during his fight against Formaggio.
An express train to Florence via Rome. Team Bucciarati board it, hidden in Coco Jumbo. However, Prosciutto and Pesci attack it to find Trish. It is temporarily stopped during the fight and Team Bucciarati leaves. Melone boards it to find a suitable mother for his Baby Face and the train does arrive in Rome.
Team Bucciarati steal a car in a parking lot near Rome. They are able to ride it to Venice, but it sinks in the sea during the battle against Ghiaccio.
Cioccolata and Secco use a helicopter to quickly fly from a village in the coast to Rome, where they continue their fight against Team Bucciarati. The helicopter gets stuck at the top of a tower.
Cioccolata and Secco fall both inside of a garbage truck on two separate occasions, which may be the same garbage truck. The garbage trucks collect trash on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
A car owned by Romeo Jisso. It is partially damaged when he crashes into a man. Romeo and Jolyne hide the corpse in the trunk, and Romeo promises to hide the car somewhere but it is found by the police, with evidence against Jolyne planted inside. The car resembles an Alfa Romeo GTV.
A mini-submarine Jotaro acquired from the Speedwagon Foundation. It follows a tracker planted in the stone pendant, positioning itself near the island where Green Dolphin Street Prison is situated. Jotaro planned to break Jolyne out of prison and then escape with it, but Jolyne decided to let Jotaro go alone and stayed in order to find whoever stole Jotaro's Star Platinum and memories.
Several airboats stationed in the swamps surrounding Green Dolphin Street Prison. Some are equipped with a machine gun, as they are used by the guards to patrol the area in case someone tries to escape through the swamp. Jolyne and Anasui also use one of the airboats.
An ordinary taxi hailed by Enrico Pucci in Orlando. It fatefully breaks down near the Orlando Hospital, allowing Pucci to meet Ungalo, Rikiel and Donatello Versus.
The motorcycle which resembles a Bimota KB2 on which Rikiel arrives to meet Jolyne. Later on in the fight Rikiel uses the motorcycle's gas to light himself on fire. Jolyne later steals it to travel to the hospital to continue pursuing Pucci.
Flight 2862 (2862便, 2862-Ben) is a commercial flight that dates from July 21st, 2005. It was a London-Dallas flight but it suffered from a fuel problem above Florida. The plane crashed at 09:33 PM, leaving only two survivors in the 51D and 51F seats. Its memory is conjured by Donatello Versus with Under World to trap Jolyne and Ermes.
A fighter jet that was flying above Florida. It suffered from a mechanical failure or was hit in the back. It crashed before the pilot could eject because the button malfunctioned. Donatello Versus conjures its memory with Under World to trap Jolyne.
A car hijacked by Jolyne Cujoh. They force Donatello Versus to become their driver, but because he was turned into a snail, the car crashes near Weather Report and Enrico Pucci, causing the former to miss his attack.
A stolen car driven by Emporio to continue chasing Pucci after he escaped for the second time. It is wrecked when C-MOON shifts the direction of gravity and it falls towards the horizon.
A public bus that passes near Green Dolphin Street Prison. Ermes's counterpart is refused entry because she supposedly doesn't have change, but she suspects the driver refused her because he's assumed she's an inmate.
An automobile. This machine is actually cutting edge technology in the 1890 and Baron Roocatugo thought he could compete in a cross-continental horserace with it. However, he discovers that this vehicle consumes one liter of gas per 400 meters, making it impossible to properly compete as it runs out of gas mere minutes after the start of the race.
Hot air balloons are used during the Steel Ball Run race to follow the racers. Their number is unknown, but a presidential aide indicates that 36 of them were used during the 4th stage.[2] Officially, it is to watch over the racers and ensure their security. However, Valentine also uses them to spy on Johnny and Gyro. Because of the gas consumption, they go to ground when night falls and cannot advance against the wind. This makes the balloons an unreliable way to spy on the heroes.
As a racer in the Steel Ball Run, Gyro Zeppeli sailed in March 1890 from Genoa to the United States in a caravella belonging to a rich family reigning in a small european country, supposedly the Kingdom of Naples.
In Philadelphia, Steven Steel is attacked by Magent Magent in a luxurious coach pulled by two horses. It becomes a temporary battlefield between Wekapipo and Magent.
A governement-owned carriage stationed in Independence Hall. Lucy Steel manages to hijack it to escape the building with Steven, but is led to Funny Valentine anyway.
The Blue Hawaii (ブルー・ハワイ号, Burū Hawai-gō) is a steamboat Funny Valentine uses to transport Lucy Steel and Steven Steel across the Delaware River to a nearby trainyard.
After he manages to gather all the Corpse Parts, Funny Valentine, Lucy Steel and Steven Steel embark on a train going from Philadelphia to New York, going near the New Jersey coastline.
When he is hit by Tusk ACT4's Super Spin, Funny Valentine escapes into an alternative universe and tries to hop on a passing carriage to escape the point where is stuck. Unfortunately for him, the Spin opens up the carriage and drags Valentine back to the point he started.
At the end of the 8th stage of the Steel Ball Run (race), all participants wll board specially prepared boats to cross the Hudson Bay from Union Beach to Brooklyn. The boats are deliberately slowed so that the crossing lasts 2 hours, enough time for the horses to recover a bit for the ninth stage.
The town of Morioh has a developed public bus transit system, which allows the citizens who don't have a personal car to go from one point of Morioh to another.
Two years earlier, Yoshikage Kira was working on a cargo ship when one of the containers was accidentally opened. It allowed Kira to discover the Rock Humans.
A mysterious ambulance with the immatriculation "3-11", which is unregistered in Morioh. It was used by Wu Tomoki and Toru to quickly take and evacuate the Locacaca branch.
A convertible car of the chauffeur that Lucy Steel and Joseph Joestar use to travel to the Morioh Hunting Grounds. Later, Joseph uses his Stand to start the car and ram it into Radio Gaga, causing it to break off and flee.
A stolen pickup truck used by Jodio Joestar and Dragona Joestar to transport drugs hidden in two surfing boards. The siblings are pulled over by two policemen for driving unsteadily, leading to an altercation between them. Afterwards, Dragona uses their Stand to alter the license plate.
A police patrol car used by two policemen to pull over Jodio Joestar and Dragona Joestar for driving unsteadily. After subduing the officers, Jodio lights the car on fire to erase the on-board camera data. The car is seen exploding as they drive away. It costs $90 to rent it for a day.
A rented car Jodio's group use to drive around Hawai'i Island to reach the villa. Usagi assures his crew that it is safe because the rental company doesn't install cameras onboard nor to they monitor the car's whereabouts.
Mitsuki Murase's car. Equipped with a GPS recorder which Mitsuki fears will show her husband that she had been out of town. It is wrecked when an Eco-Terrorist hidden in the rear kills Mitsuki and it goes out of the road.
A car that 22nd Man drives in. Later, during his confrontation with Ikuro, 22nd Man tries to escape in the car after realizing Ikuro's powers, but he ends up having his face melted by Ikuro, crashing the car.
Personnel carriers that squads of Dress Organization's soldiers use as transportation. One is sent to deploy a squad of Dress soldiers against Ikuro and Sumire.
A car that Ikuro's parents drive in. One day, when they try to swerve around speeding drivers, they accidentally crash the car, hospitalizing all three.
The helicopter gains more significance in the OVA, where Dordo tries shooting down Baoh from the helicopter. However, Baoh deflects one of Dordo's explosive bullets back at the helicopter, causing it to explode with Dordo in it.
An old motorcycle belonging to Rokusuke, whose third son rebuilt it long ago. Rokusuke offers Ikuro the motorcycle, who uses it to travel to a nearby bookstore. Later, during his second confrontation with Dordo, Ikuro uses the motorcycle to shield himself against Dordo's shots, destroying it.
A speeding train. When Aya gets her foot stuck in the train tracks and Ikuro sees the train coming towards her, he sees it as an opportunity to see if he can control his power by himself. Just as the train is about to hit Ikuro and Aya, Ikuro manages to use the Baoh Meltedin Palm Phenomenon to melt the track, and pull her out in time.
Star Shooter (スターシューター, Sutā Shūtā) is initially a plane that George Joestar II builds when he is 16 years old using parts from the Motorizing 5 plane. It isn't completely finished yet, so George isn't able to fly it and compares it to a kite. Antonio Torres ends up using it to frame George by tying the plane to a corpse.
When George joins the Royal Air Force later, he makes modifications to a seaplane and names it Star Shooter as well. It notably has a star symbol on the side. Its tail loses its wings in battle and George is forced to make a crash landing, leaving it behind in the North Sea.
H.G. Wells (HGウェルズ, HG Weruzu) is the American spaceship launched by NASA and lead by Captain and former President Funnier Valentine to travel to Mars' undiscovered "third moon". Jorge Joestar and Narancia Ghirga later board it to Mars with the help of Tsukumojuku Kato. It is spherical in shape with a diameter of about ten meters. A pair of two meter tall cylinders on both sides of the ship houses a dock with an airlock system that can connect with other ships as well as an emergency escape route. It is also equipped with space pods.
After discovering that Mars' third moon was actually The Eyed Balloon, President The Funniest Valentine orders the ship to head towards the entity and be detonated remotely to prevent Kars from entering Earth.
The Derringer (デリンジャー, Derinja) is a space freighter appearing in the one-shot Say Hi to Virginia. The ship is able to be manned by a crew of three and automatically piloted by a main computer. It is equipped with one escape pod, though the pod is destroyed near the beginning of the story.
