This is what we're going to slide. Do it, Smooth Operators!

Smooth Operators (スムース・オペレイターズ, Sumūsu Opereitāzu) is the Stand of Dragona Joestar, featured in the ninth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, The JOJOLands.

It is a colony of small Stands which can grab and displace anything. Dragona named it when they were fourteen years old,[1] and later refers to the Stand as their children.[2]

Smooth Operators is a group of at least four small robot-like Stands. Each "operator" has the appearance of a small robot with a humanoid top and tank treads instead of legs. Their heads have an oblong shape with curved corners, and the front part elongated like a nose. They also have two mechanical eyes protruding from the top of their heads. Their shoulders are cylinders and their arms have artificial articulations. Finally, each operator has a stylized "SO" engraved on the top of the head.

Changing the numbers on a license plate

Smooth Operators is able to move objects by grabbing them and then pushing or pulling in any direction, regardless of whether said object was fixed in place beforehand. For instance, they are able to pull the numbers from a car's license plate, exchange the photos from a driver's license card, and even displace the eyes from someone's face, pulling them down until they are placed on the cheek. Objects and people don't get damaged from the displacement.[3] Dragona can use the ability on themself as well.[4]

When trying to open a safe, Dragona comments that it is difficult for the Stand to open it because of the metal bars locking the door, which suggests that they have a limitation in power and that some objects may be too heavy for them to move.[5]

Smooth Operators is also capable of displacing wounds by transferring a cut from a human body onto another object. For example, the Stand transfers Dragona's neck injury onto a bottle of wine, cutting the bottle in half instead.[6]
