Manga Debut: Chapter 121: The Power Called a "Stand"
Anime Debut: Stardust Crusaders Episode 3: DIO's Curse

Holy Kujo acquired a Stand after DIO's awakening in Stardust Crusaders. Although most Stands are used for fighting, this Stand worked against Holy. Her gentle, non-violent soul made her lack the mental strength necessary to control the Stand, slowly making her ill with a harmful high fever and nearly ending her life by the end of Part 3. It takes on the form of raspberries and thorns, similar to her father, Joseph Joestar's Stand Hermit Purple, growing at the center of her back. However, as time passes by, the Stand starts to grow from every part of her body to the point of covering her whole body, as if it were being eaten away.

Calling Holy's Stand an actual "Stand" is being very generous because it works against its user, barely moves at all, and so far as it is known, has no abilities or powers (other than giving Holy the ability to see other Stands), so it could just be considered a Stand-like infection. Holy's Stand also can't harm others, passing through even other Stand users who try to touch it. It's worth mentioning, however, that Holy's Stand wasn't fully formed yet, and she simply lacked the fighting spirit to control it properly; hence its self-destructive capabilities. How it would have turned out if she had the ability to properly manifest and control it is unknown.

—JOJO A-GO! GO! Stand Dictionary p.33

Along with activating his own Stand The World, it was stated that DIO's semi-precognitive abilities that seemed to have resulted from a Hermit Purple-like Stand were due to a Stand power that awoke in the body of Jonathan Joestar.[1] Similar to Hermit Purple, it can produce a psychic photograph by striking a camera (although the camera is notably not destroyed, unlike Joseph's usage, implying it to be a more efficient version of Joseph's Hermit Purple, or simply that Joseph puts too much effort into it compared to DIO). DIO used this technique to track the Joestars and their friends' current location to send Stand users after them. This Stand is also capable of showing an image present in someone's heart through a crystal ball. DIO used it to show Polnareff one image of J. Geil, as that image represented the pain Polnareff felt in his heart. The fact that this version of Hermit Purple manifested within Jonathan's body could possibly explain why Joseph has Hermit Purple as well.

Nijimura's Father's Stand
Nijimura's Father's StandLink to this section

It is implied that Nijimura's Father had a Stand, having been recruited by DIO during his Stand search.[2] Its name, appearance, and abilities are still unknown, but its ability may have been the cause for the patriarch's immortality after being infected by the spore. It's possible that it wasn't an ability suited for fighting, as he wasn't sent to kill the Joestar group.

As members of La Squadra Esecuzioni, it's inferred from Pericolo's remarks in Chapter 469 and the diagram in Chapter 470 that both Sorbet and Gelato possess Stands. However, it is not confirmed they were able to use them properly.[2]

In the anime, Formaggio implies that their Stands were weaker than his after Illuso calls Formaggio's Stand useless.[3]

Manga Debut: JoJolion Chapter 55: Walking Heart, Breaking Heart

Kaato Higashikata's Stand appears to take the form of a simple deck of playing cards. However, by placing an object between two cards of the deck, she can store that object in the deck itself as if nothing was there. She can store objects that are considerably larger than the deck, as seen when she brings forth a chair.

Satoru's StandLink to this section
Manga Debut: JoJolion Chapter 84: The Wonder of You, Part 1

An unknown Artificial Humanoid-like Stand belonging to Satoru Akefu that first appears during Josuke, Rai, and Yasuho's pursuit of the user.

Although its powers have not been fully explained, it appears to be an automatic Stand that manipulates luck and karma in disfavor of anyone who thinks about pursuing, watching, or even hindering Satoru. The pursuer will get targeted by improbable disasters, to the point even normally harmless objects such as cigarette butts and raindrops can cause wounds as severe as bullet holes or improbable strings of events cause a worst case scenario. The ability's trigger is sensitive, as Mitsuba simply questioning the presence of Satoru was enough to activate it. The range of the ability is unknown, but it appears to be extremely large, as Josuke and Rai were affected despite being nowhere near Satoru's whereabouts. In chapter 94, Mitsuba describes that the Stand's ability causes unforeseen bad things to happen again and again when someone see Satoru's back, making them feel like misfortune is chasing them down.

Rai Mamezuku theorizes that the head doctor everyone keeps seeing from the back is actually the Stand itself, and that the user is hiding. Moreover, he theorizes that the Stand is made of "calamity energy", whose power is directly related to the actions of the victim. For instance, Rai's cellmate tried to stab Rai with a knife, but instead stabs himself because of the Stand.

Stand User's StandLink to this section
Petrified by the enemy 1.png

This Stand is only featured in the game Famicom Jump II: Saikyo no Shichinin, where it's used by an enemy simply called Stand User. The Stand allows its user to turn the player into stone with a special punch against anyone his user defeats or is about to defeat in combat. This transformation makes the victims unable to move, however, Stand users affected by it can sense and even talk. This effect can be reverted if the user is defeated. The Stand has neither a name nor a physical shape, but the image of a rock is shown when the Stand User uses it.

Kaoru's StandLink to this section

The Stand of Kaoru from the The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp. Its name is unknown, but has the ability to spawn items under Kaoru's skin. In one instance, Kaoru cuts open his skin and gold coins from another country fall out. When used, an aura in the shape of a horned demon appears around Kaoru.

The Gucci Bag StandLink to this section
GucciBag.jpg

The Stand of an unnamed genius artisan from the Gucci brand, who bound it to a Gucci bag. It is mentioned that three bags with the same ability were made by the artisan, making it possible his Stand can grant its ability to an unlimited number of bags. Anyone can use the bags, even if they are not Stand users themselves. It has the ability to vanish valuable things that the owner keeps in the bag. When the owner of the bag is in trouble, the bag will return the vanished objects in some way (the objects do not appear in the bag, but the owner will recover them in an unexpected event).

Rohan Kishibe's grandmother had one of those bags and gave it to Rohan Kishibe. Rohan, not knowing the ability was due to a Stand, made the Gucci factory fix the bag (probably the artisan unbound his Stand from it), but, after knowing the bag's true nature, the mangaka lamented for not being able to use it anymore.

37th Universe Doppio's StandLink to this section
Jorge 15-02.jpg

The Stand of Vinegar Doppio from the 37th universe in JORGE JOESTAR. It allows Doppio to turn any ordinary object into a mobile phone which anybody could use. He converts things such as pebbles, rubber balls, shoes, books, and a lightbulb. The object gets a display and buttons but keeps its original shape. Multiple objects can be converted into phones at the same time.

When receiving a phone call, the objects ring with a strange ringtone like "Plu pon pin para para pon", vibrate, and an accept call button appears.[4]

The phones are capable of connecting through extremely long distances, as it receives a signal in space and also across different universes and parallel dimensions.[5][6] However, if there is an inconsistency in spacetime then the phones will not work, such as when England gets transported from the first universe to the thirty-seventh universe while within the giant Antonio Torres's stomach.

The phones also have a redial function, which Jorge Joestar (Universe 37) uses to call Bruno Bucciarati (Universe 37) back.

37th Universe Fugo's StandLink to this section
NoPicMini.png
Novel Debut: JORGE JOESTAR Chapter 16 (Mentioned only)

The Stand of Pannacotta Fugo from the 37th universe in JORGE JOESTAR. It is unused and unseen in the novel, but mentioned by Bruno Bucciarati (Universe 37) when he lists the abilities of all the allies with them. Using the process of elimination, Fugo's Stand appears to be capable of spreading mass delusions to large crowds. Coincidentally, there is a concept of mass hysteria in the novel but it is not related to Fugo's Stand since the concept also exists within the first universe.
