Famicom Jump II: Saikyo no Shichinin (NES)

Jotaro is one of the seven main heroes. His standard attack is a Kick, which can only be used at short-range, and for armor he wears his usual gakuran uniform. For his special attack, he summons Star Platinum and is able to hit distant enemies. Unlike the rest of the heroes, who gain their special attack at level 2, Jotaro is able to use Star Platinum from the start of the game. The final boss of his scenario is an unidentified Stand User.

Cult Jump (GB)

Jotaro appears as the representative protagonist from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise in the game.

Jump Super Stars (Nintendo DS)

Jotaro and DIO appear as the playable representative characters from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise.

Jotaro's special attacks consists primarily of his trademark "ORAORAORA!" punches. Many of his Koma include his companions from Part 3, appearing frequently as he performs special attacks. His 4-Koma specials summons Avdol to use Magician's Red's Crossfire Hurricane Special, along with a two-sided barrage from Star Platinum, his 5-Koma specials include him and Polnareff attacking the enemy at the same time as Star Platinum and Silver Chariot cry "ORAORAORA!" and "HORAHORAHORA!" respectively, and Kakyoin and Hierophant Green being summoned to perform an Emerald Splash projectile attack. His 6-Koma specials include stopping time (stopping any movement on-screen for 5 seconds or by the amount of the special bar the player has at the moment) and a lengthy barrage by Star Platinum that sends the opponent flying high and far. Iggy appears as his 2-Koma support, where Jotaro uses Star Platinum to throw Iggy at the enemy, who defends himself by summoning The Fool.

His help Koma gives the affected battle character invincibility for a short time. He is one of the battle characters in the pre-made deck "Gekitou no Machi" and the sole battle character in the pre-made "Help-Koma" deck. Together with Monkey D. Luffy from the One Piece series, he can be summoned to perform a special tag-team move called "Gomu Gomu no Ora Ora" (ゴムゴムのオラオラ, lit. "Rubber Rubber ORAORA") in which they both unleash a barrage of punches.

Jump Ultimate Stars (Nintendo DS)

Jotaro returns as a playable character, along with DIO, once again representing the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise. He retains all of his previous attacks and special moves.

Jotaro can now receive an ally boost from Josuke Higashikata, by saying he and Jotaro are a great team even in taro terms (two references, one being Josuke's catchprase "Great!", while the other being the taro terms, almost every Stands in Part 3 (Jotaro's part) were based on 'tarot' cards), Jolyne Cujoh, by saying she will watch the stars until she meets him and wants to see his starlight (Jolyne said those lines during later Part 6 events) and Yusuke Urameshi (from the series Yu*Yu*Hakusho), by saying "the more fights, the more wins!" (since both Jotaro and Yusuke are introduced as delinquents who constantly beat other students).

Jotaro also appears in one of the pre-made decks centered around "delinquents" such as Yusuke Urameshi, Maeda Taison (from the Rokudenashi Blues franchise) and Sakuragi Hanamichi (from the Slam Dunk franchise).

J-Stars Victory Vs (PS3/PS4/PS Vita)

While Jotaro does not appear in J-Stars Victory VS, hidden data was found in the game for him and DIO (alongside other Jump characters Yoh from Shaman King and Dai from Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken). Jotaro and DIO were both intended to be playable based on their filenames. However, unlike DIO, Jotaro's moveset and character stances were near-completed. This marks the second instance a character was cut from a game in JoJo-related media, Koichi being the first in the PS2 game GioGio's Bizarre Adventure.

Jotaro Kujo was originally leaked alongside Dai from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai on January 19, 2019. Later, Bandai Namco officially revealed him alongside DIO on February 1.

As Jotaro's official voice actor since 2013, Daisuke Ono voices Jotaro in this game as well.

Unlike most other JoJo games published by Bandai Namco since All-Star Battle, Jotaro here has a brand new model to fit with the rest of the game's artstyle. Much of his moveset in Jump Force also appears to be originally animated, with few noticeable similarities between it and his Eyes of Heaven moveset, for example. Additionally, despite Jump Force being released in 2019, long after the Stardust Crusaders anime released, Jotaro sports the same primarily blue clothes he wears in his pre-anime appearances, rather than the anime's primarily black clothes.

Star Platinum does a volley of punches on the opponent before ending with a left hook.

My Stand: The Judge

After grabbing the opponent, Star Platinum punches them multiple times in the face before ending with an uppercut that throws them into the air.

Star Finger

Star Platinum extends its middle and index fingers to hit the opponent. This move is unblockable.

Time Stopper

After closing in and punching the opponent, Jotaro stops time and does a volley of punches with Star Platinum before finishing with a right punch to their gut and resuming time.

Heritage for the Future (Arcade/PS1/Dreamcast)

Jotaro Kujo appears as a fighter in Heritage for the Future, wielding his infamous Stand, Star Platinum.

This is the only official JoJo game to feature Kiyoyuki Yanada as Jotaro's voice actor, who would be replaced by Daisuke Ono in the future. As this game was released before the Stardust Crusaders anime, the colors for both Jotaro and Star Platinum are drawn from respective manga covers, the same color scheme that would be used for the future All-Star Battle.

Moveset and Gameplay

Jotaro thrives on offense-oriented gameplay, more on poking the enemy until they budge. Jotaro players are generally known to be very pesky and can push the fight to either side of the field in a short amount of time. This is due to their nature of gameplay prioritizing offense over defense, mostly to take advantage of the strength from his Blazing Fists special.

Due to his Blazing Fists (Stand Off) and ability to attack while Star Platinum performs a move, he is a lot more effective with Stand Off. This, in turn, increases the hits and the damage in comparison to attacks with Stand On.

Trivia

• Jotaro is normally the last opponent faced by the player in arcade mode when playing as a villain, if not DIO himself or even Kakyoin.
• Jotaro, Polnareff, Joseph and New Kakyoin are the only characters whose ending in Arcade Mode matches the original story; the rest of the roster receive unique endings.
• Jotaro has two unique lying-down sprites when he is knocked down or K.O'ed. When he is merely knocked over, he is leaning on one side of his body, slightly upright. When defeated completely, he lies flat down on the ground.

Jotaro Kujo was one of the first four characters announced for the game (the others being Gyro Zeppeli, Wamuu, and Joseph Joestar) and the first character to appear in the game's first trailer (aside from Kishibe Rohan, who was meant to draw Jotaro's introduction but was otherwise not yet shown as an in-game fighter).

Most of his attacks are similar to those from the Capcom game, Heritage for the Future. As one of the mass majority of playable characters in the game with the "Stand" Style, Jotaro can turn Star Platinum "on/off", changing movesets, as well as having access to the Stand Rush ability returning from Heritage for the Future, being able to attack in conjunction with his Stand.

This is also the first piece of JoJo media to feature Daisuke Ono as Jotaro's Japanese voice actor, replacing all of his other voices prior. Since this casting decision, Daisuke has remained as Jotaro's voice actor for the anime adaptation, as well as future, related games like Eyes of Heaven and All-Star Battle R.

If Jotaro has a minimum of one and a half stocks of the Heart Heat Gauge, he can use his signature Stand ability "I stopped time...". If the activating three-second animation plays uninterrupted, Jotaro will stop time for 3.4 ~ 6.9 seconds depending on how much of the HHG he has. All animations, including the HHG flame and the countdown on the battle timer, will temporarily cease, and the opponent in frozen in place and completely unable to act. Damage dealt to the opponent that is not a Throw, "My STAND will be the judge!", HHA, or GHA is reduced, but the opponent is otherwise absolutely vulnerable. When the ability ends and time resumes, the opponent will suffer all damage dealt to them at once.
Jotaro may use his HHA or GHA with impunity if he has enough of the HHG left to do so. He is even capable of hitting opponents that were down when the ability was activated, 'resetting' them into a standing position once hit. The ability is best used with normal attacks in mind in order to deal the most damage within the stopped time, as they execute quickly and their damage reduction within stopped time is insubstantial.
If Jotaro's Throw, "My STAND will be the judge!", or GHA is used, time will immediately resume with the HHG drained to zero.
If fighting against DIO or himself, Jotaro can use this ability to move within the other fighter's stopped time, and may even outlast his opponent if their HHG runs out first.

Jotaro is also the only character who can counter DIO's GHA, "It's a road roller!". When the attack hits Jotaro, he will attempt to retaliate with his own "ORAORAORA" barrage. If "I stopped time..." is inputted at any point during the GHA, a special animation will play where DIO is blindsided by Jotaro stopping time and reappearing behind him, before the two clash and break away from each other. While this doesn't negate the full damage of the whole attack, it does negate the damage of the road roller's explosion and also leaves Jotaro and DIO at opposite ends of the battle arena; this makes the GHA deal less than half of its total damage, prevents the attack from KO'ing Jotaro, and resets the battle to a neutral state at the cost of 2 stocks of Jotaro's HHG.

Star Platinum delivers its signature flurry of punches in an extended barrage lasting around 2–5 seconds, dependent on whether or not the attack button is rapidly pressed, ending in either a punch that sends the opponent flying (without input), or an uppercut that knocks them high into the air (with successful input). This HHA does not require an initial hit to connect in order to work, and will not stop until it finishes or Jotaro is interrupted.

If done during "I stopped time...", the opponent will fly upward upon time resuming, allowing for Jotaro to follow up.

Jotaro calls Star Platinum to fly at the opponent and deliver a powerful punch. If it connects, they're knocked off their feet before Jotaro immediately stops time. Star Platinum then unleashes an incredible barrage of punches on the defenseless foe before throwing a final body blow, for total of 114 hits. Pointing his finger, Jotaro remarks that the opponent pissed him off, and finally resumes time to let them go flying.

Gameplay Overview

Wielding Star Platinum's incredible power, Jotaro possesses both above-average damage and range, and many of his attacks cover a good distance both in front of him and above while being lengthy in execution. As such, he is one of the easier characters to play and a good starting character for learning Stand Style-specific mechanics such as Stand Rush or Quick Stand-On. His various "ORA, ORA!" punch barrages have wider coverage than other characters' rushes, while Star Finger is an unblockable mid-ranged skill dealing good damage and creating openings to exploit. Even against opponents that can battle at long range, Jotaro can pressure them using "My STAND will be the judge!" and "Beat in a single breath!" to cross the distance and potentially interrupt their own abilities.

Jotaro possesses the formidable ability to stop time and leave the opponent completely at his mercy, allowing him to deal astounding burst damage. Once he has the necessary amount of Heart Heat, simply the threat of it can force his opponent to engage him directly where he is at his strongest, so as to not give him the chance to use it.

Jotaro's weakness is the recovery of many of his special skills to offset his damage and range. Without the ability to Flash Cancel or Stand Rush, merely blocking most of his attacks renders him highly susceptible to punishment. His tall stature, coupled with Star Platinum's own size and position in front of him, also makes Jotaro notably easy to hit with set traps and attacks with large hitboxes, which can prove difficult when trying to maneuver around certain characters' attacks.

Owing to his Stand's inherent simplicity, Jotaro is viewed as very powerful and well-rounded character, and while he may not sport particularly tricky or esoteric abilities or setplay, it's only his raw, blunt power that makes him highly adaptable.

Trivia

• Besides most of the characters from Part 3, Jotaro has unique dialogue with characters such as Jolyne and Josuke. Josuke is confused looking at the younger Part 3 Jotaro in the place of the older Part 4 incarnation he recognizes, while Jotaro has no idea who Josuke is. Against Jolyne, Jotaro merely asks if she's a new Stand user (referencing the nature of Part 3 where Jotaro and his friends face off against countless Stand users sent to kill them on their journey). In return, Jolyne shockingly questions how he could have become so young.

Jotaro Kujo (空条 承太郎 , Kūjō Jōtarō) was confirmed for All-Star Battle R during the game's initial announcement trailer, being the second character to appear after Jolyne Cujoh. He was one of the four characters playable in the game's first Early Access Demo alongside Jonathan Joestar, DIO, and Jolyne. He was also 1 of 15 playable characters during the Evo 2022 Demo on August 5. He is part of the game's current demo alongside Joseph, Jolyne, DIO, and Yoshikage Kira.

His moveset is fundamentally the same as his from All-Star Battle, with a few tweaks being made to both balance the character and fit him into the overall gameplay tweaks that All-Star Battle R brought.

As Jotaro's voice actor for over the past few years, debuting in All Star Battle and later voicing him in the Stardust Crusaders anime, Daisuke Ono reprises his role as Jotaro's voice actor in this game too. As with the majority of the game's roster, voicelines for Jotaro were either added or re-recorded.

Costumes

Like the rest of the roster currently featured in their anime adaptation of their Part, Jotaro, by default, sports the outfit that he wears in the Stardust Crusaders anime adaptation. The colors of his clothes and Stand have been changed to match the anime.

As part of the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, Jotaro – as with Jonathan, Joseph, Josuke and Giorno – receives an exclusive costume based on his white outfit in the JOESTAR The Inherited Soul event.

The input for this follow-up skill has been changed, simplifying the execution required to perform it.

Star Finger

The attack button inputted now determines the skill's damage and speed. This skill executes much faster, making it more difficult for an opponent to react. The attack now has the added effect of knocking the opponent towards Jotaro with a much higher launching effect, rather than straight upwards. Finally, the recovery of this skill has been lessened dramatically.

Beat in a single breath!

The force of the vacuum effect is now determined by the attack button inputted.

• The speed differences across the attack button inputs are more pronounced, with Light () executing much quicker.

Heart Heat Attack

ORA ORA ORA ORA!

The second to last hit during the extended version of attack now launches the opponent a small distance upwards, allowing the final hit to land even if a juggled opponent is particularly low to the ground.
This prevents a scenario where the opponent is able to hit the ground (if they're airborne) or even recover from hitstun fast enough to put up their guard (if they're standing) just before the final strike lands, causing it to miss and in the latter case, potentially leave Jotaro open to retaliation.

Jotaro Kujo (Part 4) (空条承太郎(4部), Kujo Jotaro (4-Bu)) was confirmed for All-Star Battle R as a playable character alongside Yukako Yamagishi and Foo Fighters during the game's Parts 4, 6, & 8 Reveal Trailer.

His model is the same as Eyes of Heaven, however he uses his first outfit from the Diamond is Unbreakable anime adaptation, unlike in Eyes of Heaven where he uses his third outfit. As with Part 3 Jotaro, this Part 4 Jotaro is voiced by Daisuke Ono.

• Light (): Jotaro reappears directly in front of the opponent from anywhere, regardless of range or orientation.

Sliding his finger along the rim of his hat, Jotaro points at the opponent as Star Platinum moves back in to complete the attack with an extended barrage of blows on the airborne foe, finishing with an intense straight punch that sends them flying.

Jotaro Kujo is the main face of Eyes of Heaven, appearing as the game's primary protagonist, and was consequently one of the first confirmed characters for the game (alongside Part 2 Joseph, Caesar, Stroheim, Kakyoin, Part 4 Josuke, and Diego).

Using the Stand User (スタンド使い, Sutando Tsukai) style, Jotaro is designed to specialise in close-range combat, having high speed and damage output, while also being versatile enough to deal with distant enemies.

Daisuke Ono reprises his voice acting role from All-Star Battle, having also voiced Jotaro in the Stardust Crusaders anime adaptation. He expresses how this game is the crystallization of the love that JoJo fans have for the series, and how it's a work that will lead into the future, becoming the foundation for passing JoJo to the next generation.

In the game's first demo, Kakyoin was Jotaro's default partner, and Jotaro and Kakyoin are the only two characters who have appeared in both of the game's two demos.

I stopped time...

Jotaro instantly stops time for roughly three seconds. His partner and opponents are unable to move, and he is able to initiate any action or attack with impunity. Exclusive to Jotaro is the ability to pick up and throw his opponents while time is stopped, even at each other, heavily damaging them on contact. However, other time-stopping characters may activate their own ability to enter Jotaro's stopped time. This ability's cooldown is equal to 40 counts of the battle timer, making it the longest cooldown of any ability in the game.

• A special variation of "I stopped time..." becomes available under specific conditions, causing the camera to dramatically zoom into Jotaro as he stops time while the battle pauses completely, thus providing him impunity when activating it.
  1. Both Jotaro's partner and one opponent must be Retired.
  2. Jotaro must perform a combo route of Normal > Normal > Powerful Attack on the remaining opponent (i.e. the universal launcher combo).
  3. "I stopped time..." must be immediately initiated following the launching hit.

Star Finger!

Star Platinum explosively hyperextends its fingers out and swings them in a wide arc, sending opponents caught flying.

ORA, ORA!

Star Platinum unleashes a barrage of 22 punches, sending opponents caught flying on the final hit. If the attack button is rapidly pressed, the attack can be extended to add up to 10 more punches.

After a short delay, Star Platinum inhales with great strength to pull opponents in, giving Jotaro the chance to attack first. This move can be 'blocked', but the pull effect cannot be nullified.

ORAAAA!

Star Platinum flies forward and delivers a heavy ground pound that kicks up debris, knocking opponents to the ground hard enough for them to bounce. This attack can also hit opponents that are down.

EX - Star Finger!

The skill initiates quicker and Jotaro is invincible upon activation. Instead of sending opponents flying, the attack itself will instead leave them crumpling, opening them up to further attack.

Dual Heat Attacks

Solo - ORA, ORA, ORA!

Star Platinum begins by punching the opponent off their feet. Jotaro slides his finger along the rim of his hat (a callback to his fight with Kakyoin) before Star Platinum pummels the opponent in real-time, delivering a final punch to the abdomen that sends them flying.

With Kakyoin - Use the edge of the ring — just like sumo.

Kakyoin holds the opponent in place with Hierophant Green, allowing Jotaro and Star Platinum to pull them in by Hierophant Green's tail and unleash a barrage of punches that sends them flying. Kakyoin appears once more behind the enemy mid-air to deliver an Emerald Splash. Throughout the whole attack, Jotaro and Kakyoin converse about Sumo, referencing the events in the Wheel of Fortune chapters.

With Polnareff - Let's put the final nail in the coffin.

Jotaro and Polnareff summon Star Platinum and Silver Chariot to take turns attacking the opponent. Star Platinum follows with an uppercut, and the two of them begin yelling out their Stand Cries ("ORAORAORA!" and "HORAHORAHORA!") while pummeling and stabbing the opponent, respectively. This attack references how they defeat Alessi in Chapter 209.

With Old Joseph - It's not cheating if the secret doesn't get out!

Joseph jumps into the air and tries to snare the opponent with Hermit Purple, only to miss. Briefly shocked and emoting his iconic "OH MY GOD!" as Jotaro expresses disappointment, he drops the facade to reveal that he had tied the opponent with a rope during his previous attack, subsequently sending a Ripple current through the rope to shock them as Jotaro and Star Platinum move in to barrage them into submission.

With Jolyne - The Perfect Angle

Star Platinum and Stone Free send the opponent into the air with a dual uppercut, before Jolyne wraps them in a cocoon made of Stone Free's string. After Jotaro confirms the best angle to hit, they pummel it with both of their Stands.

Tournament

He was initially paired with Vanilla Ice in the Eyes of Heaven Tournament, defeating Hol Horse and Yukako Yamagishi in the first round, but eliminated by Jolyne and Gyro Zeppeli in the second.

In the semifinals, Jotaro returns in two different teams: paired with Kakyoin, and paired with DIO. The team with Kakyoin is eliminated by Kars and Pet Shop in the first round, while the team with DIO defeats Mariah and Esidisi in the first round, but is eliminated by Kars and Pet Shop in the second round.

Jotaro Kujo (Part 4)

This section requires expansion.

Jotaro Kujo (Part 4) was confirmed as a separate character along with the game's release date as a first-print edition character, similar to the original Yoshikage Kira in 'All-Star Battle'. He became available by default in international releases. Part 4 Jotaro cannot be partnered with Part 3 Jotaro.

Daisuke Ono reprises his role as Part 4 Jotaro's voice actor, and would later appear as his voice actor again in the Diamond is Unbreakable anime adaptation.

He appears in the post-credit scene's new timeline retelling of the beginning of Part 4. He asks Koichi directions to the Higashikata household as per the original events, but is soon revealed to have brought a young Jolyne with him. He interrupts his conversation with Koichi to advise Jolyne not to stray too far and be careful to cross the road, or else his wife would be sad about it. Part 4 Jotaro also makes an appearance in the group shot for Diamond is Unbreakable during the credits.

If placed in a match with anyone from the third Joestar Group, partner or opponent, they will not recognize him at first but soon decide to see how strong Star Platinum is after 10 years.

Tournament

Part 4 Jotaro was paired with Diego Brando (Parallel World), having been placed in the F Block series of battles to be incorporated into the main Tournament. They defeated Josuke Higashikata (JJL) and Narciso Anasui in the first round, but were eliminated by Bruno Bucciarati and Trish Una in the second.

Jotaro (Part 6)

Jotaro from Part 6, Stone Ocean, only appears in a screenshot in the credits of the game, and has a few voice samples that the player can set as their online player card quote. However, he was initially planned to be playable as either an alternate costume or as a separate character altogether. Several unused voices and interactions with characters remain for him in the game's data. }}

Relationships in Eyes of Heaven

• Jonathan Joestar: At first it was upsetting that Jotaro referred to Jonathan as his ancestor. Later Jonathan felt in his heart that he was succeeding his own lineage, to the point of asking Jotaro to finish Heaven Ascension DIO in his place during the main story's final battle. Also, if Jotaro is Part 4 version, he mentioned to Jonathan's grandson and Jotaro's grandfather Joseph Joestar.
• Dio Brando: Essentially the same for all parts of Jotaro - antagonistic while a bit taunting. Jotaro himself admits he needs more than luck to triumph against DIO this time around. Part 6 Jotaro also intends to interrogate DIO for info about Pucci.
• Old Joseph Joestar: Upon encountering Joseph, Part 4 Jotaro will inform Joseph of the tragedies that await him in the next ten years until Joseph stops him. He also berates Joseph for cheating on his wife at 65 years old. In hidden files for an unrealized Part 6 Jotaro, he mentioned that he wants to see how Joseph fights like he does in spite of his age.
• Noriaki Kakyoin: Their relationship is very identical in his Part 3 self, but he is notably more sentimental and appreciative as his Part 4 self, indicating that his short-lived friendship with Kakyoin (due to his untimely death in Stardust Crusaders) indeed made a deep impact in his life.
• Muhammad Avdol: As with Kakyoin, he's appreciative and sentimental to him as his Part 4 self for the same reasons.
• Jean Pierre Polnareff: Both are visibly enthusiastic to see each other again, especially as Jotaro's Part 4 self.
• Iggy: Iggy doesn't recognize Jotaro's future appearance at first, but when he does, he tries the same trick on him as he did after defeating N'Doul.
• Enrico Pucci: Jotaro recognizes Pucci as one of DIO's assassins and thinks he's a fake priest (unaware he is a real one.). Pucci intends to kill Jotaro to avenge DIO and keep Jolyne from being born.
• Yukako Yamagishi: When Yukako appears, Jotaro yells her as like groupies of himself and Josuke.
• Giorno Giovanna: Part 4 Jotaro clearly knows who he is. They have banters and lines of mutual admiration for one another. In hidden files for an unrealized Part 6 Jotaro, their interaction is even more apparent, going as far as to Jotaro daring Giorno to consider if he's an ally or an enemy, or Giorno asking Jotaro if he's fine dealing with himself, DIO's son.
• Jolyne Cujoh: Upon meeting Jolyne, Jotaro is shocked to find out he has a daughter and will be annoyed by the fact she is technically older than him. While their relationship is awkward, Jotaro still cares for Jolyne such as when he saves her after D'Arby gambles her out of her soul. In the altered timeline, Jotaro takes Jolyne with him to Morioh, implying their relationship is at least slightly better than in the original timeline.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (SFC)

Jotaro appears in the Stardust Crusaders SFC game, simply titled JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as a note to the game's status as the very first in the series. As the story plays out similarly to Part 3 with a handful of notable differences, the game begins at his household and ends with the final battle against DIO. Jotaro is usually the default on-screen character when out of battles. Most of Jotaro's moves revolve around Star Platinum's "ORAORAORA!" fist barrage, although Star Finger is also used. In this game, Jotaro's time stop ability is a result of the player obtaining and equipping a special cap item on Jotaro as opposed to being an innate ability of Star Platinum.

GioGio's Bizarre Adventure (PS2)

Part 4 Jotaro Kujo appears in the game's intro along with Jonathan, Part 4 Josuke and Part 3 Joseph as an image above Giorno, representing Giorno's inherited Joestar spirit. This marks the first time that the Part 4 iteration of Jotaro has appeared in a videogame.

Stardust Shooters (Android/IOS)

Jotaro Kujo is one of the first 3 available characters the player must choose to be their team leader (next to Jonathan and Joseph) in Stardust Shooters.

During the loading screen, if the player taps the screen, Star Platinum's fist will appear and strike the screen, with the "ORA" (オラ) kana appearing.

Jotaro's Finish move is an animation where Star Platinum appears and uses an "ORAORA!" barrage on the defeated Metal Striker.

To match Jotaro's new color scheme seen in the Part 3 anime adaptation, he wears a black coat and green shirt, as opposed to All-Star Battle's and Heritage for the Future's dark blue coat and pink shirt. However, this is unlike the Parts 1 and 2 characters, who keep their color scheme from All-Star Battle.
