Appearance
Cameo is a mature man with an athletic build. He is balding yet has long hair in the back. His outfit consists of a usekh, buttoned wristbands, pants, and boots. He also wears a scuba mask with an additional strap over the top of his head while underground to keep dirt out of his eyes.

Personality
Cameo is a cruel man who pretends to be a genie using his Stand, Judgement. He initially takes on the guise of a grateful genie and is lenient, allowing Polnareff to confirm if he wants to make a wish Cameo deems boring and even cancel a wish after confirming it.[2]
Cameo reveals his true nature soon enough after Polnareff wishes to revive Sherry and Avdol. In reality, he is manipulative and callous, toying with people's hearts to kill them with their own deepest desires. He enjoys watching his victims suffer from their own wishes[3] and continues to taunt his enemies even when an unexpected disadvantage arises.[4] He also displays a realist perspective, mocking Polnareff for believing someone could come back to life.[5]
Although arrogant, Cameo is a coward. He flees to avoid any harm if Judgement is overpowered. In person, he goes to great lengths to hide himself so only his Stand can get into any conflict. If threatened, he cries for mercy.[4]
Abilities
Stand
Judgement is a hulking humanoid Stand which is very strong and resilient but also manipulates clay to create fake objects and humans. It fakes being a genie and twists its victim's wishes against them.
History
Stardust Crusaders (1988)
Cameo is a mercenary Stand User hired by DIO to eliminate the Joestar Group during their journey to Egypt. He confronts the group on a remote island in the Red Sea during their visit to a recovering Avdol. Prior to engaging the Crusaders, Cameo plants a mysterious lamp on the beach, intending for Polnareff to find it. When Polnareff rubs the lamp, Cameo reveals his Stand, Judgement, which impersonates a wish-fulfilling genie. Cameo introduces himself through his Stand, offering Polnareff three wishes.
Initially skeptical, Polnareff attacks Judgement, but the Stand effortlessly blocks Silver Chariot's assault with its formidable strength. Polnareff decides to humor the self-proclaimed genie by asking him to make him rich. Cameo responds with an enthusiastic "Hail 2 U!" before having Judgement vanish in a puff of smoke. Moments later, Polnareff discovers a treasure chest filled with Napoleonic gold coins, convincing him of Judgement's powers. Cameo reappears and prompts Polnareff for his second wish.
Polnareff initially considers either becoming a comic artist or having a girlfriend, but ultimately wishes to revive his deceased sister, Sherry, and Avdol. Cameo agrees to the terms, seemingly fulfilling the wishes and vanishes once more. Shortly after, Polnareff encounters a life-like figure resembling his sister. However, she attacks him, revealing herself as a grotesque imitation made from clay by Judgement's power. Polnareff calls out to Cameo, prompting him to spawn his Stand on a nearby tree. It's at this point that Cameo gleefully reveals the truth: the so-called "genie" was his Stand, and the granted wishes were merely deceptive manifestations made from clay. He then summons another clay-imitation of Avdol, who joins the attack on the French man.
Outnumbered and injured, Polnareff is on the verge of defeat when the real Avdol intervenes. Utilizing his Stand, Magician's Red, Avdol destroys the clay imitation of himself created by Judgement. Cameo, surprised by Avdol's appearance, is momentarily confused, as he had assumed J. Geil and Hol Horse had already killed Avdol back in India. However, he quickly shifts focus and seizes the opportunity to attack both Avdol and Polnareff.
Cameo commands Judgement to hurl Sherry's clone at Magician's Red, briefly stopping Magician's Red in its tracks. He then mockingly asks Avdol to make three wishes before he dies, to which Avdol replies, "Make it four." Agitated, Cameo orders Judgement to block a kick from Magician's Red, but is surprised when it shatters his Stand's arm. Avdol follows up by using Red Bind to strangle Judgement, inflicting significant damage. Magician's Red then delivers a powerful kick, sending Judgement flying and causing it to disappear in its usual fashion.Realizing that Judgement's user must be nearby due to the Stand's strength and precise control, Avdol and Polnareff search the area. They soon uncover a bamboo breathing tube protruding from the ground. After tampering with it, Cameo bursts from his underground hiding place to breathe. It's revealed that he had spent the entire fight in the ground, inside a hole dug by himself, wearing swimming goggles and a breathing straw. Desperate, Cameo pleads for mercy, but Avdol declares that his "fourth wish" is for Cameo to receive no wishes at all. He then uses Magician's Red to decisively defeat Cameo, charring him into retirement.
Vento Aureo (2001)
Towards the end of the Diavolo Surfaces story arc, Polnareff is punched through the chest by Diavolo and dies. During this moment, he reminisces of his adventure to Egypt, noting not only his fellow Crusaders, but his encounter with Cameo's Stand, Judgement, as well.

Video Games
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (SFC)
The group encounters Cameo in a very different way portrayed in the manga. In Pakistan, the player finds him on the second floor of a Big Mansion where, after opening a treasure chest, Judgement will appear stating that it will grant the group three wishes. The first wish it grants is to level up the group, which requires fighting three clay dolls of Jotaro. The second wish allows the group to find Hol Horse, though this turns out to be a clay doll as well. The final wish pits Judgement itself against the group with the exchange of DIO's secret as the prize. Once Judgement is defeated, Cameo himself will appear and admit that he does not know anything about DIO, but urges the group to travel to Egypt to find a Stand user who is presumably not working for DIO.

JoJo's Venture (Arcade/DC)
Cameo's Stand Judgement is one of the cards in the game's tarot reading feature.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (PS1)
Cameo or Kameo in the English localization, appears as a boss battle in Super Story Mode. Polnareff has to defeat his Stand, Judgement, who is accompanied by two clay-imitations of Avdol and Sherry. When Judgement is defeated, Cameo then surfaces from his hole to be burnt by the real Avdol. Cameo's special battle can be unlocked in Book Mode.
In international releases, instead of urinating into Cameo's breathing pipe, Avdol and Polnareff drop pebbles into it, inflicting a similar but less-humiliating form of torture.
