Kenny G.
Kenny G. (ケニーG, Kenī Jī) is a tertiary antagonist featured in the third part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Stardust Crusaders.
Serving as one of DIO's many servants, Kenny G. protects the mansion by casting an illusion using his Stand Tenore Sax, making the mansion look like a labyrinth on the inside. However, he is quickly dispatched by the Crusaders.
Appearance
Kenny G. is a small, stocky man with pointy, prominent ears, a small nose, and close-set eyes. He wears a side-buttoned shirt with shoulder pads, dark pants, dark shoes, gloves, a golden metallic necklace, and a conical hat.
Crazy Heartbreakers
In the light novel Crazy Heartbreakers, Hol Horse says that there are rumors that Kenny G. lost so much weight that he looks like a hermit now.[2]
Color Schemes
Personality
In his short amount of screen time, Kenny G. shows a feeling of superiority over Nukesaku, threatening to kill the Vampire if he gets in the others' way.[3]
In the spinoff Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak, Kenny G. remains the same elusive man he was during Stardust Crusaders, but now having settled down with Mariah. He is shown to dislike Hol Horse to the point of not trusting him, only allowing him in his hideout after Hol Horse agrees not to summon Emperor. Even then, Kenny G. doesn't deign to appear in front of Hol Horse.
Abilities
Stand
Kenny G.'s Stand Tenore Sax is capable of generating large illusions and hallucinations. He uses it to disguise the appearance of DIO's mansion.
History
Background
Kenny G. is first shown preparing himself to battle the Joestar group with Vanilla Ice and Telence T. D'Arby. When Nukesaku suggests he could help them, the group threatens to kill him should he interfere in their battle.[3]
Stardust Crusaders (1989)
Kenny G. uses his Stand to trap Joseph Joestar and Jotaro Kujo with Telence in order to aid his comrade. With this, he splits the Joestar group in half, setting the stage for Vanilla Ice's later attack. He conjures an illusion to slow the remaining half's progress, making DIO's mansion display a much more confusing and sprawling layout than it had in reality. By the time they encounter Kenny G.'s illusions, however, Muhammad Avdol already easily discovered where he was hiding using one of Magician's Red's abilities. Iggy then uses The Fool and disposes of him before he can do any damage.[5]
Spin-Offs
Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak / Crazy Heartbreakers
When Noriaki Kakyoin went on his family trip to Egypt, DIO relied on Kenny G. to use Tenore Sax to trap Kakyoin. Ryoko Kakyoin got split from the group and ended up getting lost, but her cousin saved her. Kakyoin realized that it was a Stand ability after noticing that nobody else was walking on the roads, and no matter how much they walked, they were ending up in the same spot. He managed to break his way through by firing Emerald Splash at a wall, which led to another road. Before they could escape, Kakyoin was stopped by DIO and implanted with a flesh bud.[6]
Later, Kenny G. survives the attack from Iggy in DIO's mansion and the Speedwagon Foundation leaves him be. Ten years later, Kenny G. is shown to have married Mariah.[7] On a street in the center of Cairo known as "Wilson Phillips Street", the couple has a hideout in an abandoned bar camouflaged with Kenny G.'s Tenore Sax. Their hideout was a safe haven in the midst of an ungoverned region. By maintaining neutrality due to its location on a street with a reputation for being cursed and confusing anyone who approached with his illusions, a person living there would be safe from all pursuers. The couple makes a living by having people pay enormous rates to live there, relying on Tenore Sax to make the rooms appear as if they are from a luxurious five-star hotel.[2]
Kenny G. lets Hol Horse enter his hideout to speak to Mariah, but only after Hol Horse agrees to unsummon his Emperor. Even then, Kenny G. doesn't deign showing himself since he hates Hol Horse.[2]

Video Games
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (SFC Game)
Kenny G. appears as a minor boss when the player enters DIO's Mansion. He has a low 60HP and flees in terror after the first turn. Eventually, the player can corner him and defeat him with few problems, dispelling the illusion that his Tenore Sax placed on the mansion.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (PS1)
Kenny G. or Ken-E-Gee in the English localization, appears as a special battle in Super Story Mode. Avdol must use Magician Red's heat detectors to reveal his location so Iggy can attack him. A view of Kenny's movement is given, but the real difficulty is finding him inside Tenore Sax's confusing layout. Kenny G.'s special battle can be unlocked in Book Mode.
(探知不能 Tanchi Funō)
The battle against the illusory Stand, Tenore Sax, is largely a repeat of the battle against Sun. The player must again find the location shown at the bottom-right of the screen; this time, target Kenny G. moves against an Escher-esque backdrop, making the task of finding him quite difficult. Thankfully, the player has a trick up their sleeve: Avdol's fire can be used three times to point in the direction of Kenny G. Once the player hits Kenny G. four times, the mini-game ends. After the battle, the labyrinth inside the mansion disappears, exposing its true layout.
