Sheer Heart Attack, Part 1 (シアーハートアタック その1, Shiā Hāto Atakku Sono 1)[1] is the twenty-third episode of Diamond is Unbreakable and the ninety-seventh episode of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Animation. It covers Chapter 355 through Chapter 359 of the manga.
Jotaro and Koichi have found a clue to Yoshikage Kira's identity. However, the serial-killer sics the miniature tank-bomb Sheer Heart Attack on the two of them before they can learn his name.
Summary
Killer Queen's Sheer Heart Attack kills the owner of the store Jotaro and Koichi are investigating. At the same time, Kira, who had been hiding in the back, tries to bait the duo closer to Sheer Heart Attack by grabbing his jacket, but Jotaro detects the trap and avoids the blast created by Sheer Heart Attack.
Koichi notices that the killer is gone and rushes in to pursue. However, Jotaro interrupts him, explaining that the enemy wouldn't try to cut off loose ends, therefore they are still in danger. Despite Koichi's skepticism, Sheer Heart Attack shows up again and attacks Koichi. Star Platinum appears to defend Koichi and pummels the miniature tank, but the repeated punches barely dent it. While Jotaro fights Sheer Heart Attack, Koichi figures that such a powerful Stand means that the killer is nearby and defenseless, and proposes to send Echoes after him. Despite Jotaro's insistence that Koichi only defend himself with his Stand, Koichi sends him away to scout the area, only to be surprised that the enemy is already so far away from the store. Suddenly, Sheer Heart Attack shifts his attack back to the now-vulnerable Koichi. Luckily, Jotaro stops time and starts a fire near him, having figured out that the enemy is heat-seeking. However, he cannot avoid the blast and is gravely wounded.
Koichi tries to wake Jotaro up while Sheer Heart Attack resumes his pursuit. When he drags Jotaro into the back of the store, Koichi sees the tank break all the lights along the way, allowing Koichi to discover the bomb's pattern. Now in the kitchen, Koichi sees that no immediate heat source is available, thus resorting to Echoes ACT2 to make bait for the enemy out of a sizzling sound. During that short respite, he calls Josuke for help, but the stove he shut off earlier begins to heat up anyway, making Sheer Heart Attack destroy it and explode. Koichi, who was near the center of the explosion, is propelled out of the store and wounded. At the last moment, Echoes evolves again into a new act, Echoes ACT3. ACT3 turns out to be not only more powerful than its previous iterations, but sentient as well. Its power of making objects heavier manages to neutralize Sheer Heart Attack, leaving the bomb trapped in the asphalt. At the same time, Kira's left hand, which is synced up with Sheer Heart Attack, suffers the effect of Echoes too, crashing to the ground from the sudden increase in weight. Suspicious, he decides to go back and retrieve Sheer Heart Attack.

Commentary
It's been awhile since we've had any 'true' action scenes, and more importantly, Jotaro’s “ORA-ORA-ORA” returns. Unfortunately for him, Sheer Heart Attack isn’t even scratched…
It's completely in line with JoJo’s style to fight an enemy you cannot directly see. It is, in essence, part of the charm of Part 4. It's something I personally adore and is even linked to the rest of the story: a psychological battle that consists of first finding the enemy.
Echoes ACT3 arrives in this episode. At first glance, it doesn’t look very strong, but it’s the first to inflict damage onto Kira, although in an indirect fashion. To be continued!
