JoJodle
JoJodle was a game based on Wordle where players had to guess the name or word of the day in six tries. The words were based on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak, Baoh the Visitor, and other JoJo spin-offs. It included character names, Stands, concepts, items, and locations.
The game began on February 6, 2022 and ended on March 9, 2024 due to The New York Times sending DMCA requests to similar Wordle-based games. JoJodle hadn't received one but it was decided to be shut down regardless before it would receive one.
Gameplay
Every day, a word is chosen and players must guess it in six attempts. Following each guess, each letter is colored red, purple, or gray. Red indicates that the letter is correct and in the correct position, purple indicates that it is in the answer but not in the correct position, and gray indicates that it is not in the answer at all.
When the game first started, it initially only had five-letter words. As of April 29, 2022, it had been updated to include words with four, six, or seven letters as well. A Hard Mode was also added in that update, which could be enabled in Settings. When enabled, any letters that were revealed had to be used in subsequent guesses.
