History
2024
- April 1, 2024: The wiki becomes the Cool Shock B.T. Wiki for April Fools and a Cool Shock B.T. theme is created by Morgan and Vish, which can be selected by users here.
- March 9, 2024: JoJodle is shut down.
2023
- June 1, 2023: Vish modified the Color Schemes/Palette template to display hex codes when hovering on the boxes. Clicking a box will copy the hex code to your clipboard.
- May 11, 2023: Vish fully redesigned the Interview Archive with automation, custom filters, and a search bar.
- April 30, 2023: HudgynS and MothGhost783 become moderators.
- April 1, 2023: The wiki becomes the Pink Dark Wiki for April Fools and a Pink Dark Boy theme is created by Morgan and Vish, which can be selected by users here.
- February 5, 2023: A toggleable button to enable Dark Mode is added to the wiki for all users.
- February 1, 2023: The wiki moves from MediaWiki 1.35 to MediaWiki 1.39. The server receives a big upgrade, and the sidebar is redesigned.
2022
- December 25, 2022: The 5000th article is created.
- December 12, 2022: JoJo Wiki Redirector 2.0 is created to support Chrome Manifest v3.
- November 7, 2022: The JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia Instagram account is created by Vish.
- September 28, 2022: The JoJo Wiki Redirector reaches 1,000 weekly users on Chrome.
- April 1, 2022: The wiki becomes the Diesel Wiki for April Fools and a Diesel theme is created by Morgan and Vish, which can be selected by users here.
- Mar 27, 2022: A Chrome Extension for jojo-news.com is created by Morgan and Wavpro.
- February 6, 2022: JoJodle is launched by Vish, which was playable here.
2021
- October 2, 2021: The Part 1 Anime Theme is added to the wiki.
- September 22, 2021: The JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia news website is launched at jojo-news.com.
- August 26, 2021: The 4000th article is created.
- April 14, 2021: The wiki reaches over 500,000 edits.
- April 13, 2021: The 3500th article is created.
- April 6, 2021: The Part 2 and Part 4 Themes are added to the wiki.
- April 5, 2021: The Jolyne Theme is added to the wiki in commemoration of the Stone Ocean anime adaptation announcement, which can be selected by users here.
- March 17, 2021: Fr0stiFusionZ and FrizzleLamb become moderators.
2020
- November 2, 2020: The 3000th article is created.
- March 16, 2020: The 2500th article is created.
2019
- December 10, 2019: Dark Mode for the wiki is created by Morgan and Vish, which can be selected by users here.
- December 7, 2019: JoJo Wiki Redirector is created by Morgan for Chrome and Firefox.
- November 23, 2019: The wiki officially forks from jojo.fandom.com to jojowiki.com. (Read more)
- November 4, 2019: The new JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia Discord server is created.
- October 14, 2019: The new independent website at jojowiki.com is created by Vish.
- January 27, 2019: The wiki's domain is switched to jojo.fandom.com.

- August 18, 2018: The former JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia Discord server is created.

- December 14, 2016: Nabu becomes a moderator.
