Summary

The story of Weather Report and Enrico Pucci is revealed.

Around forty years ago, in 1972 on the 5th of June, in a hospital from a small town, a woman was caressing her newborn child who died in her arms. The child was bringing her hope in a miserable life and, in an attempt to cling to that hope, she decided to secretly swap her deceased son with another child, who happened to have a twin brother with a twisted foot. No one suspected the truth.

Years later, as a young boy, Enrico Pucci discovered the existence of his twin brother and his parents tearfully explained to him that his twin brother Domenico died without explanation. Pucci grew curious about his dead twin brother and asked himself why he lived and not his twin. He began to pray to God and asked questions about the reasons why good and bad arbitrarily struck men. Pucci was born in a wealthy and prestigious family from Italy, and everyone accepted Pucci's decision to become a priest.

One day, as he was walking in the crypt, Pucci tripped on something and saw a foot slipping under a sarcophagus. DIO appeared behind of Pucci, growing curious because Pucci was carrying a book about a priest who abandoned his vows to become an artist. DIO explained that he was allergic to sunlight and Pucci accepted the explanation, telling him to leave as soon as the sun set. Intrigued, DIO wondered how Pucci could believe him and even asked if Pucci planned on telling on him. His interest piqued, DIO examined Pucci's twisted foot. Feeling this was a fateful meeting, DIO lent an Arrow to Pucci, fully expecting to see him later. After DIO disappeared in the shadows, Pucci noticed his foot had been healed.

On another day, as Pucci was cleaning a confessionnal, he heard someone calling to him from the other side of the fence in the booth, believing him to be a priest. It was a woman who was dying from illness, and she confessed to stealing the baby of another Family who had a twin. Pucci listened to the woman's confession and guessing the truth, asked for the name of the family. She answered it was the Pucci family and thus Pucci learned that his twin was secretly alive.

Two months later, Enrico Pucci's little sister, Perla, was looking at a handsome young deliverer. When the same deliverer, a young man named Wes Bluemarine, stopped a thief from fleeing with Perla's handbag, she thanked Wes (also nicknamed "Weather") and suggesting covering for him since he broke an entire window in his attempt to stop the thief. Thus began the relationship between Perla and Wes. Meanwhile, Enrico Pucci was pondering the consequences of the confession he heard. He wasn't a priest yet but was determined to keep the secret of the woman's confession. When he came back home, Enrico saw his sister in an unusually pensive state, and she told him about her relationship. However, Enrico then discovered that Wes was his twin brother and was horrified. He decided to put a stop to the abominable relationship but wanted to keep his true reasons hidden. He thus hired a private eye to separate Perla and Wes.

Unfortunately, the private eye made further investigations on Wes and his family. He discovered that Wes' mother was married to a black man and believed Wes a black man too. As a secret racist, the detective summoned his entire band of hicks to lynch Wes. In her struggle, Perla slapped the detective, pushing him to tell her the truth and also tell Wes that they had already burned his house and his mother. Wes was hung to a tree. In her grief, Perla jumps from a cliff into a lake. Unbeknownst to her, Wes was still alive. Enrico discovered the firemen taking Perla's corpse from the lake. Submerged by guilt and grief, Pucci cursed himself. Suddenly, he heard DIO's voice calling to him. He suddenly felt he wanted to see him again. The Arrow that Enrico was keeping on him suddenly shot through his neck, giving him the power of Whitesnake. This allowed Enrico to preserve Perla's memories in the form of a DISC. At the same time, Wes developed his own abilities.

Later, Weather attacked the detective, turning his arm into snails with Heavy Weather. Confused by the situation, Wes asked if Perla's brother was truly the one who asked to separate them before forcing the detective to shoot himself. Weather tried to shoot himself but the gun was suddenly filled with water. Angry at himself, Weather tried to commit suicide first but his Stand kept protecting him no matter what. Thus, his anger redirected to the entire world and thus Heavy Weather unleashed the snails on the entire region. Enrico Pucci decided to deal with Weather before heading off to see DIO and seek the answers to his most profound questions. Enrico Pucci found Weather and confronted him, telling him the truth about their relationship. Pucci managed to steal Weather's memories, sealing them away to seal his Stand's full power. He then had Weather sent to Green Dolphin Street Prison.

In the present, Weather wants to kill Enrico Pucci. He also tells Anasui to kill him. Meanwhile, Jolyne, Ermes, Emporio and Donatello Versus are assailed by a swarm of beetles. They hijack a car and drive away in order to find Weather.
