Some people will prefer reading the manga, some will prefer the film. I think the movie is a good way of introducing women and young people to JoJo.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Yukako's design influenced by Nana Komatsu.

Although Komatsu had never read JoJo before appearing in the film, she was familiar with the series and had many friends who were into it. To prepare for the role of Yukako Yamagishi, Komatsu ate lots of wakame seaweed to let her hair grow naturally. However, in the end, she decided to wear hair extensions instead because it wasn't long enough.[2]

Komatsu's unique portrayal of Yukako Yamagishi likely influenced the character's later appearance in the one-shot Deoxyribonucleic Acid and the exhibition Bulgari X Hirohiko Araki, which were released the same year as the film and feature very similar hairstyles.
