Ghiaccio (ギアッチョ, Giatcho) was revealed as a new playable character for All-Star Battle R on August 24, 2022, during the game's Part 5 Reveal Trailer.[1] However, Ghiaccio was accidentally revealed earlier when a Japanese YouTuber uploaded two videos that showed photos of the back of the game box.[3]
Having neither previously appeared in All-Star Battle nor Eyes of Heaven as a playable character, he has an original moveset based on his appearance in Vento Aureo.
In the English version of All-Star Battle R, the name of Ghiaccio's Stand, White Album, is localized as "White Ice", the same name used in the original All-Star Battle.
Ghiaccio has 950 health and uses the Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, which allows him to freely summon and withdraw his Stand White Album, dynamically changing his moveset in the process. Unlike most other characters using the Stand Battle Style, Ghiaccio wears his Stand rather than using it as a separate entity. As such, White Album is not dismissed when Ghiaccio is knocked down while it is active, except during special knockdowns such as Throws, HHAs, or GHAs. Also, when wearing White Album, Ghiaccio's movement speed is increased and he can run in both directions. When combined with his strong ability to force opponents to guess how to react on wake-up (vortex), Ghiaccio makes for an effective rushdown character.

The attack button inputted determines how long the frost lasts, with higher strength buttons causing it to linger in the air for a few seconds. However, the longer the duration, the more vulnerable Ghiaccio is and the slower the projectile becomes. If spaced well, Ghiaccio can use the attack as a delayed projectile or trap. (Comboable)

This allows Ghiaccio to defensively repel the opponent away from himself, interrupting many forms of offense.

The attack button inputted determines the damage, the range of the attack, and the number of spikes that erupt, inversely affecting the skill's start-up length and recovery speed. While in mid-air, Ghiaccio freezes the air below himself to generate a small ice projectile, then vaults off of it in a double-jump as it drops straight below. The falling projectile is a middle attack that cannot be blocked crouching, and can also strike a downed opponent. The attack button inputted determines the direction of Ghiaccio's leap:
Light (): Ghiaccio leaps backwards during the attack, allowing him to attack and retreat from the opponent in a single maneuver.
Medium (): Ghiaccio leaps straight upwards during the attack.
Heavy (): Ghiaccio leaps forwards during the attack, allowing him to cross large forward distances in mid-air and possibly switch to the opponent's other side before landing.

White Album Gently Weeps! (『ホワイト・アルバム ジェントリー・ウィープス！（静かに泣く）』)

Ghiaccio activates White Album Gently Weeps, causing floating crystals of frozen air to surround him. The stock of Heart Heat spent becomes a draining timer, canceling the ability upon depleting. While Gently Weeps is active, Ghiaccio will counter all non-GHA strike attacks upon guarding them, causing any melee strikes to freeze the opponent and leave them crumpling, open to attack. Guarding against non-HHA/GHA projectiles also reflects them, as they are bounced between the floating ice crystals before firing back at the opponent. However, Ghiaccio must remain in Stand ON for the duration of this HHA and cannot deactivate his ice armor; upon deactivation, he will briefly release the ability and his ice armor in exhaustion, leaving him vulnerable and switching him to Stand OFF.
As HHA can be universally canceled into from most attacks including skills, this gives Ghiaccio a means to extend combos by chaining into its activation, instantly canceling an attack not unlike a Flash Cancel and allowing him to continue his offense from there.
Currently, a bug exists where the projectile-reflecting properties of Gently Weeps fail to trigger, meaning Ghiaccio is forced to block projectiles normally.

Ghiaccio brags about White Album's ability to freeze anything in the world as he emits a dense mist of frost that scatters in front of himself, lasting for some time. If it connects, the opponent is frozen over, allowing him to begin his infamous soliloquy about city names in different languages while speaking nonchalantly. When Ghiaccio's calm demeanor abruptly breaks, he starts relentlessly and viciously punching his frozen-solid opponent, demanding people use the Italian term. At the height of his fury, he reels back his fist, calls the opponent a dumbass, and delivers one final punch to shatter their frozen body to pieces. Upon activation of this GHA, Ghiaccio will automatically switch to Stand OFF before attacking; If he attempts the attack while White Album Gently Weeps is active, the HHA will immediately cancel and the Heart Heat spent will be lost.
If Ghiaccio misses the initial attack, he puts his hands on his head and loudly declares, "Now I'm really pissed off!" (超イラつくぜぇ～～～ッ！).

An antagonist from Part 5: Vento Aureo. He is the user of the StandWhite Album, and a member of La Squadra Esecuzioni. Easily enraged by nature, he is often angered by illogical idioms. He is defeated by Mista's resolve and finished off by Giorno after pursuing their car.[6]
