Enrico Pucci (エンリコ・プッチ, Enriko Putchi) was confirmed for All-Star Battle R during the game's initial announcement trailer.[1]

In one of the game's most drastic changes from the original All-Star Battle, Pucci has been separated into two playable characters, not unlike his playable iterations in Eyes of Heaven. The base roster version of Enrico Pucci has been overhauled to remove the character's Stand evolution mechanic, instead expanding his available moveset with Whitesnake. The original version of Pucci from All-Star Battle was released on December 1, 2022 as a free character named Enrico Pucci (Final) in the v1.4.0 update, coinciding with the release of the final set of episodes for the Stone Ocean anime.[3]

In the English version of All-Star Battle R, Pucci's name is localized as "Father Pucchi", the same name used in the original All-Star Battle. Additionally, the name of his Stand, Whitesnake, is localized as "Pale Snake".

Tomokazu Seki reprises his role from the Stone Ocean anime, replacing Sho Hayami as Pucci and Takuya Kirimoto as Whitesnake. As with the majority of the game's roster, voice lines for Pucci were either added or re-recorded.

Gameplay

Pucci has 900 health and uses the Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, which allows him to freely summon and withdraw his Stand Whitesnake, dynamically changing his moveset in the process. Without the ability to evolve his Stand into C-MOON, Pucci's moveset with Whitesnake has been expanded to compensate.

Pucci is able to steal his opponent's DISC via "It's mine!", "So it was was already done...", or "This is my Whitesnake's ability!". Depending on the attack landed, various abilities of theirs are locked away in the form of a DISC. The DISC will remain in Pucci's possession until his opponent hits him or he blocks an attack, causing it to drop in front of him. It can then be picked up by either combatant via standing over it and crouching; Pucci can retrieve the DISC to keep the opponent's abilities locked, or the opponent may retrieve it and restore their abilities. This skill's effect is altered based on whether or not Whitesnake is active:

The DISC taken by this skill seals the opponent's specials, skills, and abilities related to Style (ASBS.png) (with the exception of Stand On/Off and Mount/Dismount).

The real Pucci and Whitesnake appear already behind the opponent as the opponent crumples to the ground, open to attack. (Comboable)
Each individual character has a unique animation for falling victim to this attack, similar to Giorno Giovanna's HHA.

Pucci and Whitesnake fly forward a moderate distance in a melee tackle. If they connect with the opponent, Whitesnake rapidly swipes its hand across the opponent's face, causing their DISC to eject from their head. It will then quickly snatch the DISC and roundhouse-kick them away.

The DISC taken by this HHA seals the opponent's own HHA.

A counter. Pucci and Whitesnake raise their arms up high in hallelujah, in praise of his own euphoria. If he is then struck by any melee attack that is not a Throw, including HHA and even other GHA, his counterattack will trigger.
Pucci is seemingly blown away by the opponent's attack, before the entire screen suddenly begins to distort and fade away; In reality, the opponent was under the influence of Whitesnake's illusion ability. When the screen clears, they are lying unconscious on the ground with Pucci standing over them, explaining that it was an illusion they struck. With his target utterly vulnerable, he brings forth Whitesnake to stab its hand with great force into their head, and brutishly rip out a DISC while throwing them away.

The DISC taken by this GHA seals the opponent's Heart Heat Gauge itself, leaving them unable to use any Heart Heat-consuming ability or generate Heart Heat.
In addition, this is the second highest-damaging Great Heat Attack in the entire game, behind Diavolo's. It deals roughly ~47% of the average character's max health in damage at level 1, making it capable of KO'ing an opponent and bypassing Rumble or Resolve Mode from a little under half-health, or even above half-health when fighting lower health characters. As its damage can increase up to level 3, it can inflict a whopping ~71%, reducing most characters' health down to Rumble/Resolve Mode from a full gauge.

A two-stock assist. Pucci lands in and summons Whitesnake to deliver a downwards chop while moving forward. If it connects, it will bounce the opponent off the ground and Whitesnake will follow up with a second chop, causing a soft knockdown. Pucci then dismisses his stand and poses before jumping back off-screen.

Enrico Pucci (Final) cannot use this assist.

Pucci will now drop the DISC if he is hit while blocking. When the DISC is on the ground, the beam of light that it emits to help players see where it is is thinner now, making it less obvious where the DISC is, especially at a distance or in the middle of combat. Additionally, if Pucci drops the DISC he's holding, re-landing any of the attacks that steal the opponent's DISC will now automatically grant him it back without him having to crouch over it to retrieve it. Furthermore, the translation for the name of this passive has changed slightly. Previously it was "the DISC" instead of "DISC".

The input for this command normal has changed. Previously it was ASBDPad6.png in place of ASBDPad3.png. It also now launches the opponent on hit rather than causing normal pushback. Pucci also moves a much greater distance forward when stabbing out, giving the attack more range.

This move also executes faster now, giving it both faster startup and recovery as well as a shorter period of time where the counter can be activated. When triggered, the sound effect is different. Additionally, the translation of the name of this skill has changed slightly. Previously it was "An illusion" instead of "It's an illusion."

Heart Heat Attack / Great Heat Attack (HHA / GHA)

This HHA no longer locks the opponent out of their specials, skills, and abilities related to Style (ASBS.png). Instead, it locks them out of their HHA.   • When hit by Giorno Giovanna's Heart Heat Attack, Pucci's comical expression references that of a guard controlled by Whitesnake when he is hit by a poisonous frog.[4]
  • When hit by his or Enrico Pucci (Final)'s "It's an illusion." skill, Pucci coils over and puts his hand over his face, as he does when C-MOON develops as he arrives at Kennedy Space Center.[5]
  • When summoned as an Assist by DIO, Pucci calls out his ally's name.

Its name is taken from the title of the story arc that contains Pucci's fights with both Foo Fighters and Jolyne Cujoh during his attempt to acquire The Green Baby, Whitesnake - The Pursuer.

The Stand of Father Pucchi, with the ability to steal people's memories and their Stands and capture them as discs. The discs can then be inserted into some other person or being to control them.
