This is a comprehensive list of all home video releases for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, including Blu-ray, DVD, VHS, and LaserDisc formats.

Summary

The first season of the TV anime series produced by David Production was released on nine DVDs and Blu-rays from January 30 to September 27, 2013, with the Blu-ray releases having the option of English subtitles. Each volume of the TV anime features artwork of two characters on the front and back of the case, with the limited edition Blu-rays typically come with bonus content. An English dub provided by Bang Zoom! Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros. was released on September 22, 2015 as a DVD set consisting of all 26 episodes. A Blu-ray version was released by VIZ Media on August 8, 2017 and by Kazé France on March 15, 2017 in France; Kazé would later update the release with the French dub on March 1, 2022. A special limited edition that abridges the entire first season into three movies, titled JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Re-Edited, was released on March 26, 2014 in Japan and March 15, 2017 in France. Selecta Vision released the first season in Spain across two DVD/Blu-ray sets: the Phantom Blood portion released on September 27, 2017, with the Battle Tendency portion following suit on November 6, 2017. VIZ Media and Madman Entertainment published the season on Blu-ray on December 5, 2018 in Australia, and Manga Entertainment brought the release to the United Kingdom on January 13, 2020. Special Blu-ray box sets for each half of the season, which included bonus materials and additional footage, were released in Japan on September 13 and September 27 of 2017.

The first half of the TV anime adaptation of Stardust Crusaders was released on Blu-ray in Japan from July 30 to December 19, 2014. The second half of the season was released as a separate run on Blu-ray from April 22 to September 30, 2015 titled Battle in Egypt, for a total of 12 volumes across both halves. A Blu-ray version of the first half was released by VIZ Media on July 3, 2018, with the second half releasing on January 22, 2019. Kazé France published the first half on June 21, 2017 and the second half on August 30, 2017; plans were made to re-release the season with the French dub in 2022, but the release was shelved after Kaze was merged into Crunchyroll.[1] Selecta Vision split the series into four releases, each having 12 episodes, from February 28, 2018 to January 30, 2019. VIZ Media and Madman Entertainment published the season on Blu-ray in 2019 in Australia, and Manga Entertainment brought the release to the United Kingdom in early 2020. Special Blu-ray box sets for each half of the season, which included bonus materials and additional footage, were released in Japan on October 25 and November 29 of 2017.

The TV anime adaptation of Diamond is Unbreakable was released on Blu-ray in Japan from June 22, 2016 to June 28, 2017, for a total of 13 volumes. VIZ Media released the first half of the season on Blu-ray on July 2, 2019, with the second half released half a year later on January 28, 2020. Kazé France published the first half on May 16, 2018 and the second half on August 22, 2018. VIZ Media and Madman Entertainment published the first half of the season on Blu-ray on October 9, 2019 in Australia, with the second half following on April 15, 2020. Special Blu-ray box sets for each half of the season, which included bonus materials and additional footage, were released in Japan on April 29, 2020.

Golden Wind's TV anime adaptation was released on Blu-ray in Japan from December 19, 2018 to November 13, 2019, across a total of 10 volumes. VIZ Media released the first half of the season on Blu-ray on September 1, 2020, with the second half following on February 16, 2021. Kazé France published the first half on May 4, 2021 and the second half on September 7, 2021. VIZ Media and Madman Entertainment published the first half of the season on Blu-ray on October 9, 2019 in Australia, with the second half following on April 15, 2020, as well as a complete series release on April 5, 2023 by VIZ and Crunchyroll ANZ (which Madman Entertainment had been merged into). Special Blu-ray box sets for each half of the season, which included bonus materials and additional footage, were released in Japan on August 31, 2022.

Presumably due to Netflix's involvement in distribution for Stone Ocean's TV anime adaptation, releases of the season have taken a different approach from past seasons. On November 30, 2022, the first third of the season was released in the special Blu-ray box set format used by other seasons after their initial run, with the second releasing on February 24, 2023, and the third releasing on May 31 of the same year. VIZ Media released the first twenty episodes of the season on Blu-ray on January 23, 2024.

All VIZ Media, Kazé UK, and Madman Entertainment releases feature both Japanese and English audio with English subtitles. All initial Kazé France releases feature only the original Japanese audio with French subtitles, but re-issues of the first season and the all releases of Part 5 include the French dub as well. All Kazé Germany releases feature German audio alongside German, English, and French subtitles. All Selecta Vision releases feature both Japanese and Spanish audio, as well as Spanish subtitles.

Blu-ray releases feature uncensored footage, sharper action sequences, and retouched art, among other miscellaneous changes. The magnitude of the differences depends on the exact episode, but the further into a season's run one looks, the greater and more frequent the changes become.
