Arnold (アーノルド, Ānorudo) est un personnage secondaire de la quatrième partie de JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Diamond is Unbreakable.

Arnold est le chien de Reimi Sugimoto. Tué par un mystérieux tueur en série, Arnold reste dans le monde des vivants en tant que Fantôme dans l'allée fantôme avec Reimi.

Apparence / Personnalité

Arnold est un chien de compagnie qui semble être de la race du Labrador Retriever. Il est donc un plutôt grand chien. Il a une blessure béante à la gorge qui continue de saigner car c'est comme ça que Kira l'a tué.

Arnold est plutôt placide et loyal, se contentant de rester dans son coin où aux côtés de Reimi. Il n'est agressif que lorsqu'il attaque Kira selon un plan formulé par Reimi.

Histoire

Passé

Arnold était le chien de compagnie et de garde de la famille Sugimoto. Une nuit, Yoshikage Kira s'est introduit dans la maison des Sugimoto et a alors assassiné Arnold en lui tranchant la gorge, probablement pour qu'il se sonne pas l'alerte en aboyant. Il a alors accroché le corps du chien sur les portemanteau, laissant son sang couler au sol au moins 10 minutes avant que Reimi ne vienne le voir. Arnold devient alors un Fantôme et vit dans l'allée fantôme avec Reimi pendant des années en attendant que Reimi puisse prévenir quelqu'un de l'existence de ce tueur en série.

Diamond is Unbreakable

Reimi and Arnold finally find someone with a supernatural ability who can see them: Koichi Hirose and Rohan Kishibe. After hearing the story, they agree to help after learning the killer is still alive, and they warn the Stand users of Morioh. Arnold remains by Reimi's side as she bides her time in the alley.

After Kira's death, his soul is transported to the ghost alley. When he attacks Reimi, Arnold defends her by biting Kira's arm off, causing him to look back and be dragged into the afterlife by hundreds of hands. Finally at peace, the ghost alley disappears, and both Arnold and Reimi ascend to Heaven.
