D'Arby the Player (9), originally D'Arby's Unknown Ability in the WSJ release, is the two hundred thirty-fifth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the one hundred twenty-second chapter of Stardust Crusaders.

Summary

Now understanding the controls, Jotaro hits home run after home run. Jotaro is now in lead four to zero. Feeling confident, Joseph gives Telence an ultimatum: return Kakyoin's soul and guide the group to DIO, and Joseph will consider sparring Telence's life. Telence reminisces his youth with Daniel, and how the master gambler would never challenge his younger brother to a game. He gloats about how superior he was to his older brother, and that he has an ability that makes him unbeatable. D'Arby switches his pitcher and begins foretelling his pitches. He claims that he will throw a forkball down the middle. He pitches. Jotaro swings for a forkball, but the pitch was a fastball. Jotaro hits it, but Telence is able to catch it easily. With three outs the two players switch positions. Jotaro is starting to figure out D'Arby's ability. Jotaro realizes that Telence can somehow read his opponents thoughts. Jotaro's up to pitch, and tries to hit the batter with the ball. Telence's hitter leans backwards and hits a home run.
