D'Arby the Player, Part 1 (ダービー・ザ・プレイヤー その①, Dābī za Pureiyā Sono 1), originally The Endless Mansion (果てしない館, Hateshinai Yakata) in the WSJ release, is the one hundred fourteenth chapter of Stardust Crusaders and the two hundred twenty-seventh chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

In the Cairo streets, Jotaro looks back believing to be beckoned by someone. When the group turns around they see an injured Iggy approaching them. The group rushes to Iggy, realizing he must have fought off an enemy Stand user. However, this is not who was calling to them. Suddenly a familiar man appears and tells them of Iggy's struggle. Thanks to the Speedwagon Foundation's doctors, Kakyoin is able to rejoin the group along with Iggy. Iggy interrupts the reunion in order to reveal to the group the location of DIO's mansion. As they approach the mansion, the group notices the heavy atmosphere, breaking out in a cold sweat from the overwhelming pressure of darkness. Feeling the presence of the Joestar bloodline, Joseph assures the group that DIO is in there. A mansion door opens, revealing a hallway that appears to go on forever. From it, a strange looking man appears, levitating towards the group. The man introduces himself as the butler of DIO's mansion, Telence T. D'Arby.
