The Faraway Journey, Farewell Friends (遥かなる旅路 さらば友よ Haruka naru Tabiji Saraba Tomo yo) is the seventeenth and final volume of Stardust Crusaders and the twenty-eighth volume of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It covers the second half of the DIO's World story arc.

Summary

DIO's Stand, The World, is revealed to have the terrifying ability to stop time. Following the death of Kakyoin, DIO moves his sights onto Jotaro and plans to kill him in stopped time. However, at that moment, Jotaro's fingers begin to twitch. Will this arduous battle come to an end...?!

(Continued from last volume...) The female ghost floated across the room. Standing beside my bed, she looked down at me with a blank expression. I thought to myself, "I'm seeing a ghost! I thought I had no psychic powers!" But a moment later, I thought, "I'm really sleepy... I don't want to deal with this right now." As if she knew what I was thinking, the ghost's expression turned to sadness, and she disappeared. This really happened. People say I must be dreaming, but I swear it really happened.

(27巻のつづき)その外人の女性の幽霊はスーっと部屋を移動し、ベッドの枕元に立つと無表情にぼくを見下ろしました。『自分は霊感ゼロの人間だが、ついに幽霊というものを見てしまったらしいぞ』
そう思いました。しかし、次の瞬間『でもスゴクねむいから今は面倒くさいな』とちょっと心の中で思ったら、その幽霊はなんだか悲しそうにそのまま消えてしまいました。これ、本当の体験談です。人は夢だといいますが、真実です。
