Narciso Anasui/fr
Narciso Anasui (ナルシソ・アナスイ, Narushiso Anasui) est un allié majeur figurant dans la sixième partie de JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Stone Ocean.
Anasui est un détenu de la Prison de Green Dolphin Street qui a le coup de foudre pour Jolyne Cujoh et décide de l'aider à vaincre Enrico Pucci. Anasui est un manieur de Stand et manie Diver Down.
Apparence
Anasui est un homme de taille supérieure à la moyenne et de corpulence moyenne ou athlétique. Il porte un chapeau mince et plat sur la tête, et il porte une maille moulante sur le haut du corps et le bas des jambes, exposant la majeure partie de sa poitrine. Le maillage est composé de rayures diagonales qui ressemblent à un motif en résille avec des espaces extrêmement grands entre les lignes de vêtements. Il porte aussi des patchs de tissu à motifs d'empreintes de pas allant de sa jupe à la taille et jusqu'à sa poitrine.
Dans les représentations plus anciennes d'Anasui, il y avait six cils proéminents situées sous chacun de ses yeux. Cependant, ceux-ci sont omis dans les chapitres suivants.
Lors de sa première apparition, Anasui a d'abord été dépeint comme une femme aux cheveux courts et portant des bandes autour du cou.

Personnalité
Le trait de caractère le plus marquant d'Anasui est son amour obsessionnel de Jolyne. En la rencontrant, il a eu le coup de foudre[1] et fût charmé par sa détermination et sa concentration[2][3] qui l'inspirent et lui donnent de l'espoir dans le futur.[4][5] Plus précisément, il pense qu'il pourrait être «purifié» grâce à ses sentiments pour elle.[6]
En tant que prétendant à l'amour de Jolyne, l'objectif principal d'Anasui est de devenir en quelque sorte son protecteur dans l'espoir de se rendre suffisamment indispensable pour que Jolyne l'aime et compte sur lui encore plus que Jotaro Kujo ou Weather Report.[3] On le voit déclarer à tous qu'il protègera Jolyne avec tout son pouvoir[1] et il est prêt à se sacrifier pour elle. Par exemple, il a dit à Foo Fighters de posséder son corps pour sauver le disque mémoire de Jotaro.[7]
Anasui prendra toute occasion de protéger Jolyne, en absorbant notamment les dommages avec son Stand. Il a ainsi pu absorber l'attaque de C-Moon pour donner du temps à Jolyne.[8] Son désir de devenir le protecteur de Jolyne peut devenir excessif et il a une fois ordonné à F.F. de faire trébucher Jolyne juste pour pouvoir la rattraper.[9]
Au premier abord, on peut croire qu'Anasui est un prétendant confident et audacieux dans ses efforts pour séduire Jolyne. Il lui déclare son amour la première fois où ils se croisent[10] et achète même une bague pour la lui glisser au doigt quand elle dort, en tant que déclaration d'amour.[11] Il envahit aussi l'espace personnel de Jolyne, mâchouillant une fleur qui pousse sur Jolyne par exemple,[12] et semble agir comme s'il pense que Jolyne est amoureuse de lui. Par exemple contre Yo-Yo Ma, il croit que ses avertissements sont une étrange façon de vouloir l'embrasser.[13] Cependant, Anasui ressent toujours le besoin de demander la permission de Jotaro pour épouser Jolyne et reste silencieux lorsque Jotaro refuse tacitement en la tirant à ses côtés.[5] Malgré son audace, Anasui reconnait que Jolyne ne va pas l'aimer aussi facilement[5] et a peut-être de réels doutes sur le fait que Jolyne puisse l'aimer un jour[14]. Celà ne l'empêche pas d'essayer de la séduire tout de même.
En dehors de Jolyne, Anasui se fiche de ses alliés. Il ne se soucie pas de leur sécurité, dit qu'il ne veut que protéger Jolyne, et Emporio le décrit comme "un type qui n'aide pas les autres".[15] Par exemple, il était prêt à rester passif et à laisser F.F. mourir contre Kenzou[16] et est frustré quand il doit pousser Emporio en sécurité durant le combat contre C-Moon, ne voulant aider que Jolyne.[17] Il dit aussi à Weather Report qu'il ne l'a accompagné en dehors de la prison que parce qu'il croyait que Weather le mènerait à Jolyne.[18] Anasui dit aussi qu'il n'aime pas sa famille et ne les protégerait pas s'ils étaient en danger.[19] Il est jaloux de Weather, qui semble proche de Jolyne, et traite F.F. de simple "plancton".[4] Il prend avantage des promesses de F.F. pour lui donner des ordres loufoques comme faire trébucher Jolyne[4] même si F.F. l'écoute rarement.
Anasui est un meurtrier sans remord et le reconnait volontier.[19] En découvrant sa petite amie avec son amant, il les a littéralement démantelé pour qu'ils ne soient plus ensemble.[1] De plus, Emporio dit à F.F. que "si Weather Report n'était pas là pour le calmer, Anasui serait imprévisible".[20] Bien qu'Anasui ne soit pas aussi violent qu'on le prétend, il peut être extrêmement brutal et n'a aucun scrupule à modifier ses adversaires de manière horrible. Il a notamment modifié les jambes de Kenzou pour les transformer en ressorts[21] ou le torse de Guccio en piège à ours avec ses côtes.[22] Il est prompt à essayer de tuer tout ce qu'il considère comme un ennemi, démontré quand il écrase la tête de Yo-Yo Ma avec Diver Down,[23] et était prêt à tuer le Bébé Vert car il ressentait une aura maléfique malgré les protestations de Jolyne[24]. Il essaie aussi de détruire Pinocchio dès qu'il l'aperçoit.[25] Emporio dit qu'en tant qu'Anasui avait déjà une tendance à démonter tout ce qu'il trouvait durant son enfance bien qu'il se soit cantonné aux objets pendant sa jeunesse, mais ses résultats psychiatriques ont montré qu'il n'était pas mentalement malade.[1]
Anasui fait allusion à plusieurs reprises à des problèmes psychologiques profondément ancrés. Pour commencer, il cherche une forme de purification par son amour pour Jolyne,[6] dit qu'il "était mort" avant de rencontrer Jolyne[19] et dit que "son cœur pourrait s'effondrer à tout moment".[5] Ces aveux font allusion à une forme de dépression et suggèrent qu'il s'accroche à Jolyne comme étant la seule chose positive de sa vie qui pourrait le maintenir en vie.
Pendant le combat contre Kenzou, Anasui semble être observateur et analytique, observant de près le style de combat de Kenzou et le préconisant à Jolyne pour affirmer les points forts du vieil homme.[12] Il a également observé attentivement le pouvoir de Green, Green Grass of Home et a réussi à comprendre comment cela fonctionnait.[26] Anasui démontre également une certaine compétence stratégique. Par exemple contre le bébé vert, il a délibérément roulé un biberon près du bébé pour voir s'il serait intéressé par l'objet et en même temps l'a utilisé comme piège pour l'éventuel stand qui combattrait Jolyne, visant à tuer e bébé vert lorsque ledit stand serait piégé.[27]

Stand
Diver Down est un stand à courte portée donc la capacité principale d'imprimer une attaque sur n'importe quelle surface et de la libérer plus tard. Il est également capable de passer à travers des matériaux solides et de changer les matériaux qui les composent.
Histoire
Passé
Obsédé par le démontage d'objets, Anasui était un enfant plutôt excentrique et déroutant. Il disséqua minutieusement une montre de poche, ses jouets et tout objet qui a capté son attention. À l'âge de dix ans, il a dû être placé en institution pendant six mois après avoir démonté la Porsche de son voisin.[1]
Un jour, alors qu'il avait 21 ans, il a surpris sa petite amie en train de le tromper avec un autre homme alors qu'il lui rendait visite après le travail. En réponse, il les a méthodiquement démantelés (littéralement) tous les deux pour qu'ils ne «puisse plus se réunir». Malgré cela, son analyse psychiatrique a montré qu'il était une personne normale.[20] Il fût envoyé en prison avec une sentence de douze ans pour meurtre au premier degré.
A un moment, il rencontra Weather Report et Emporio Alnino dans la prison.
Stone Ocean (2011-2012)
Les vignettes d'Ermes
Anasui apparait pour la première fois dans la salle fantôme d'Emporio et regarde alors Ermes Costello parler avec Emporio à propos de Whitesnake. Weather Report est d'ailleur avec lui, mais aucun des deux n'intervient.
A un moment, Anasui rencontre Jolyne et a le coup de foudre pour elle.
Son nom est Anasui
Bien qu'il ait été brièvement aperçu à côté de Weather par Ermes Costello, Anasui ne s'implique avec Jolyne que lorsque F.F. vient voir Emporio pour obtenir de l'aide à sauver Jolyne du quartier disciplinaire. Apparemment fasciné par le courage de Jolyne alors qu'elle se rendait au quartier disciplinaire pour son père, Anasui accepte de devenir le garde du corps de Jolyne dû à son amour brûlant pour elle et quitte la salle des fantômes d'Emporio. En utilisant Diver Down, il ouvre une porte en y stockant de l'énergie et en libérant l'énergie comme un coup de pied sur deux gardes.
Brûle, Dragon's Dream
Anasui apparaît alors en train de monter les escaliers vers le hall du quartier disciplinaire au moment où Foo Fighters et Jolyne sont sur le point d'affronter Kenzou. Au début, il ne s'engage pas dans la bataille, expliquant plutôt l'histoire de Kenzou, et avoue son amour à Jolyne. Il explique ensuite le concept de «feng shui», sur lequel s'appuie le stand de Kenzou Dragon's Dream. Lorsque Jolyne le presse d'aller protéger Foo Fighters, il répond en disant qu'il n'a promis de protéger que Jolyne. De plus, F.F. lui a dit de ne pas intervenir. Alors que Foo Fighters est projeté dans la chaise électrique à cause des attaques de Kenzou et que Jolyne descend les escaliers, Anasui passe à l'action afin de protéger Jolyne contre «l'assassinat feng shui» de Kenzou. Il place Diver Down dans le corps de Jolyne et au moment où le coup de pied Kenzou entre en contact avec son corps, il change la structure des jambes de Kenzou pour ressembler à celle d'un ressort. Kenzou saute partout et ne peut pas contrôler ses mouvement, et est mis hors-combat. En la trouvant et en se connectant avec elle, Anasui reste fidèle à sa parole et protège Jolyne au point de se sacrifier parfois.
Une naissance verte
Après le combat avec Kenzou, Anasui tente de convaincre Foo Fighters de faire trébucher Jolyne dans les escaliers afin qu'il rattrape Jolyne et la fasse tomber amoureuse de lui. Foo Fighters, toujours préoccupé par les ennemis restant, refuse dans un premier temps, mais cède et fait trébucher Jolyne. Cependant, Jolyne utilise Stone Free pour s'agripper au bras d'un petit prisonnier tenant l'Os de DIO, laissant Anasui en plan. Dans le hall, il découvre alors les effets étranges de la naissance du Bébé vert sur le prisonnier, choqué par sa métamorphose en arbre. Anasui avertit Jolyne de rester immobile, remarquant les plantes sur son visage et l'inspectant avant de conclure que les racines et les choses ressemblant à des plantes apparaissant dans le quartier disciplinaire sont causés par l'os de DIO. Anasui utilise ensuite Diver Down pour enlever la plupart des fleurs qui poussent sur Jolyne. Il mâchouille légèrement l'une des fleurs pour confirmer que ce sont des êtres vivants, tout en avertissant Jolyne de ne pas s'exposer au soleil afin de stopper la croissance des fleurs. Cependant, il est incapable de l'empêcher de prendre le bébé vert.
Yo-Yo Ma Arrive!
Anasui se dépêche et conduit Jolyne et Foo Fighters hors du quartier disciplinaire. En chemin, ils rencontrent Guccio, qui se recroqueville et gémit dans un coin. Anasui s'approche de lui avec désinvolture et lui demande son nom et s'il est un ennemi, Guccio répond sans vraiment comprendre et supplie pour qu'on le laisse en vie. Anasui lui fait signe de se rapprocher et utilise Diver Down pour transformer Guccio en un piège ambulant qui mutile le bras gauche de D an G avec ses côtes. Anasui décide finalement d'utiliser Diver Down pour grimper sur un mur et par une fenêtre, s'échappant du côté Est du bâtiment.
Alors qu'ils s'échappent presque, le Stand Yo-Yo Ma apparaît et avale l'oeuf du bébé vert. Yo-Yo Ma réagit aux attaques du groupe (y compris la tentative d'Anasui de plonger la main de Diver Down dans son ventre) avec plaisir. Anasui note la puanteur horrible de son corps, l'empêchant de se concentrer et de récupérer le bébé vert. Alors que Jolyne et Foo Fighters réfléchissent sur comment résoudre la situation, Anasui leur rappelle que Jolyne est toujours en danger si elle s'expose au soleil et déclare qu'ils doivent aller plus à l'est, à l'opposé du soleil couchant. Ils partent, sans savoir que F.F. a été blessé par de l'acide. Jolyne et Anasui volent un hydroglisseur, que Yo-Yo Ma pilote en donnant des conseils à Anasui.
Après un court moment, Anasui cache le bateau dans une masse de feuilles et d'herbe pour se cacher d'une patrouille. Yo-Yo Ma propose alors un plan pour camoufler Jolyne, Anasui et leur hydroglisseur. Anasui et Jolyne se couvrent de racines et de feuilles. Cependant, le vent causé par les hélices des hydroglisseurs des gardes les révèlent. Ils parviennent cependant à neutraliser les gardes et à voler un second hydroglisseur.
Anasui remarque que Jolyne siffle sans raison, puis remarque qu'elle gesticule bizarrement. Cependant, il croit qu'elle veut l'embrasser et prend un coup.. Elle essaie de l'avertir sur Yo-Yo Ma, mais il continue de penser qu'elle veut l'embrasser. Cependant, il se rend compte que le visage de Jolyne commence à fondre à cause de la salive acide de Yo-Yo Ma. Il attaque alors Yo-Yo Ma, ignorant les trous dans son corps et ordonnant à Yo-Yo Ma de vider ses poches. Anasui sans comprendre la méthode d'attaque de Yo-Yo Ma, Anasui va finalement greffer le cerveau de Yo-Yo Ma à son cerveau, lui donnant les désirs et les impulsions d'une grenouille et le neutralisant de cette façon. Anasui prend Jolyne et les deux attendent que les Foo Fighters tuent D et G.
Awaken
Suite à la disparition de Yo-Yo Ma, Anasui et Jolyne trouvent la coquille vide du Green Baby sur le pont du bateau. Anasui apercçoit la main du bébé vert. Il essaie de l'attraper et obtient une brûlure en forme de main sur sa main. Le bébé vert finit par tomber dans l'eau et Anasui panique avant que Jolyne répare sa langue et lui indique où il est. Alors que Jolyne va courir vers le bébé, Anasui l'arrête. Lui et Jolyne se rendent alors compte que si on s'approche du bébé vert, on commence à rétrécir, de sorte qu'il serait peut-être impossible d'atteindre le bébé vert.
Jolyne persiste à vouloir essayer de toucher le bébé, et se positionne sur une brindille pour lui sauter dessus. C'est alors que le Stand du bébé, Green, Green Grass of Home, apparaît et attaque. Anasui intervient pour la défendre et la libère du poing de Green, Green Grass of Home. Les deux tombent vers une falaise et parviennent à s'accrocher mais le Stand ennemi les bombarde avec des cailloux. Anasui parvient à attirer Green, Green Grass of Home dans une bouteille, en coulissant le goulot vers lui, Anasui parvient à piéger le Stand ennemi tandis que Jolyne et lui s'échappent.
Whitesnake - Le pousuivant
Avec Green, Green Grass of Home piégé dans la bouteille, Anasui envisage déjà de tuer le bébé vert. Cependant, la bouteille commence à rouler vers eux. C'est Green, Green Grass of Home qui roule la bouteille pour essayer de les écraser. Cependant, ils sont sauvé lorsque le bébé vert remarque Jolyne. Son pouvoir se désactive automatiquement car il est intéressé par Jolyne.
Les gardes de la prison patrouillent toujours les environs, mais le brouillard commence à apparaître. C'est alors que F.F. et Weather Report apparaissent. Jolyne s'empresse de serrer Weather contre elle, ce qui rend Anasui jaloux. Anasui répète qu'il veut tuer le bébé, ce qui outrage Jolyne et F.F.. Quand il demande son opinion à Weather, ce dernier l'attaque soudainement et lui perce la poitrine avec la main, et fend la tête de Foo Fighters en deux.
Weather Report is revealed to be nothing more than one of Whitesnake's illusions as Anasui lays dying on the ground. During a tense fight between Jolyne and Whitesnake's user, Enrico Pucci, Pucci throws Jotaro Kujo's memory disc into Anasui's dying body as he starts to fade away. Jolyne is unable to pull it out of Anasui before he starts to have his final thoughts. He thinks about how Jolyne looks sad, and asks Foo Fighters to use his body as a vessel in order to retrieve the disc. Foo Fighters uses the last of her strength to keep Anasui alive and heal his wounds, ejecting the disc but sacrificing herself in the process.
Anasui is then taken back to the men's ward of Green Dolphin Street Prison with Weather Report.
Bohemian Rhapsody
In the men's ward of the prison, Weather Report states that Jolyne has left the prison, able to sense her due to the Joestar birthmark. He forces Weather to take him to her.
Following their off panel escape, Anasui admonishes Weather Report for helping up an old man, fearing it would make them stand out. He asks Weather about his history, and Weather responds that he simply wants to kill Pucci, forgetting the reason due to having his memory disc stolen. They hide in the bathroom as they figure out a way to avoid the cops. Weather uses his stand to aid the old man enough for him to give them a ride past the cops.
As Anasui thumbs through the magazines in the back of the old man's car, he bemoans the lack of Disney characters on the Disney amusement park guidebook. Then, he notices something scurrying past and uses Diver Down to grab it, pulling out a twisted version of Pinocchio. He threatens Pinocchio with violence, and when Pinocchio lies about working alone, his nose stabs Anasui in the cheek. He interrogates the puppet further before being interrupted by the Seven Dwarves, who emerge after Anasui picks up an apple from the floor. Anasui becomes confused, recognizing the characters, and becomes angry when he notices Weather eating the apple and reading a book. However, when Weather starts asking where Anasui is, he realizes that what he is is nothing but his 'soul': His body has fallen under the truck and is being run over.
He tries to use Diver Down to pull his body up, but is unable to. The truck crashes, but Anasui and Weather land safely with the help of Weather's stand ability. Anasui interrogates Pinocchio further, ultimately destroying him. He wakes up back in his own body, but notices that the old man driver is acting strangely. He questions the driver's bloody mouth, chipped nail, tail, and Glasgow smile. The driver attacks him as a wolf, and Anasui is unable to summon Diver Down, unknowingly having separated once more. Anasui, from a passing bus, uses Diver Down to cut off the wolf's head, and sees himself once again.
Anasui's soul runs through Orlando looking for its body, being accused by a chocolate shop owner of trashing the store. In truth, his body had ran past just earlier, and despite Anasui's bribe (that he stole from the cash register), he is forced to change his appearance using Diver Down to avoid the police by phasing chocolates into his face. However, when he spits them out, they turn into small goats that tell the story of a wolf who ate many baby goats and subsequently had his stomach cut open and filled with rocks by the mother before drowning him. Anasui then finds himself turning into a wolf.
He goes to punch the goat reading the story, but attracts the attention of the mother unintentionally via the pleas of the goats inside his stomach. He tries to punch it into the ground, but the mother unfolds itself, being made of paper. Anasui runs down the alleyway and slams a heavy iron door, using Diver Down to change the inner workings so that it wouldn't open. The goats, however, simply open it as if it was paper. He attempts again, but fails, the mother goat cutting open his side. In order to escape, he has Diver Down phase into the wall and pull himself along to the door, momentarily escaping and hijacking a cop car. However, the car door opens to the alleyway from before, the goats jumping out and cutting open his stomach with rocks at the ready.
Anasui, stuck in a wildly veering cop car, falls out on top of Weather Report, in the middle of re-enacting Vincent Van Gogh's suicide. Anasui starts to melt, his own flesh drowning him. However, Weather's 'Put-Back Hero' returns things to the way they were before, the enemy stand's effect ceasing afterwards.
Heavy Weather
Anasui and Weather Report end up outside the hospital where Jolyne and Ermes fight against Donatello Versus' stand, Under World.
After Versus uses Under World to deliver Weather Report's memory disc to Weather Report inside the hospital, he regains his memories and activates Heavy Weather. Anasui is shocked by Weather's new attitude, but follows him nevertheless in order to find Jolyne.
Following the subliminal effect spreading across the city, Anasui confronts Weather Report, who asks Anasui to kill him. Anasui is more upset about Weather not taking him to Jolyne than anything, but quickly gets serious when Weather informs him that Pucci is nearby. Anasui checks for him in the sewers, but only sees snails. Anasui suggests the car as a possible hiding spot before Weather gets his right leg chopped off by Pucci. He deflects a batch of snails coming towards him using Diver Down, and starts turning into a snail. However, he uses Diver Down on Weather to give him a makeshift leg and allow him to attack Pucci. Pucci reflects the sunlight on Anasui to make him turn into a snail faster, making him unable to focus enough to use his stand. He tries to attack once more, but is beaten into the asphalt by Whitesnake. As Whitesnake prepares the killing blow, Weather Report creates blood spikes on the ground that Pucci must use Anasui's vision to see due to his own blindness. He lists off the blood spikes and tells Pucci the way out, but fails to tell him about the spike forming on his shoulder. Anasui watches as Weather Report almost kills Pucci, but a car crashes into the one they were by, carrying Jolyne, Emporio, Ermes, and Versus. Jolyne is about to attack what she believes to be the priest, but Anasui uses Diver Down to reveal it as Donatello Versus' corpse.
As the others notice Weather's dead body, Anasui talks about his own callousness and lack of feeling, stating that the time Weather had with Jolyne and the others were the happiest times in his life. Anasui then reveals that he left behind the stand disc for Weather Report.
C-Moon
On the car ride to Cape Canaveral Space Station, Anasui notices Jolyne asleep on his chest and comments on how cute she is. He then produces a wedding ring that he bought from the prison merchant, softly placing it on her finger. However, Ermes startles her by pointing out a large alligator and she unknowingly throws it at the alligator. Anasui repeatedly asks her to open her hands when he notices, weeping.
Anasui resolves to find Pucci as soon as possible and not wait for Jotaro to arrive, and as gravity turns 90 degrees away, he uses Diver Down on the road to hold on to everyone and keep them from falling. He motions that if they continue climbing a rail, they could get to the space station, and Jolyne makes up her mind to kill Pucci. Anasui thinks to himself about how in love he is with Jolyne. As they are on the sideways space station, Anasui watches as Jolyne is attacked by C-Moon, Pucci's new stand, shouting warnings for her and eventually using Diver Down to attack C-Moon. He is pelted with inside-out tiles and starts to fall, but Jolyne uses Stone Free to hold onto him and wrap around C-Moon's neck at the same time. Anasui warns her not to be reckless, and when C-Moon puts Jolyne's string in danger of turning inside-out, he phases Diver Down into it to have his own arm turn inside-out.
When Jolyne herself turns inside-out due to a direct attack, her strings dissolve and he uses Diver Down to anchor himself to the floor. He springs off towards Pucci after Emporio tells him that Jolyne is still alive in order to protect her. When he meets Pucci, he creates a decoy version of himself out of a civilian's corpse using Diver Down and tries to attack him. However, Pucci turns himself inside out and avoids the attack, countering and just barely missing Anasui, who floats off and grabs a pole to keep himself from falling.
Made In Heaven
As Jotaro and Ermes return, so does Anasui, the group surrounding Pucci. However, as Pucci floats into the air and starts to attain 'heaven', Anasui climbs onto the space shuttle and attacks Pucci with Diver Down. Pucci's new stand, Made in Heaven, emerges out of his arm. As Anasui tries to attack Pucci, a bright light fills the area and the group wakes up in Cape Canaveral with normal gravity. Anasui is touched by Jolyne worrying about him, but is soon confused by the effects of Made In Heaven when he accidentally drops a heavy rock on Ermes. Suddenly, Pucci begins to attack the group using the abilities he gained after attaining heaven.
Anasui takes this moment to ask Jotaro for Jolyne's hand in marriage, and is disappointed when Jotaro is unable to answer. Jolyne clings to him for comfort, but is taken away by Jotaro a short time afterwards. Despite this, Anasui still takes a blow that would have been fatal for Jotaro by phasing Diver Down into Jotaro's body. He gets wounded again shortly after on the hand by Pucci, but as the group flies through the air through Kiss' ability, Anasui posits that there is one way they could kill Pucci as he directs Emporio towards the marshes.
He tells Jotaro that since Pucci has no choice but to pick them off one by one, when Pucci goes in to kill him, he'll give Jotaro a signal for him to stop time and kill Pucci. He states that he is able to phase into anyone when they're as close together as they are, allowing him to take fatal blows. He states he will take the first blow, and the signal will be transferred through his stand, specifically mentioning for Jotaro to stop time after Pucci's blow to finish Anasui off, sacrificing himself. He is stopped by Jolyne, who tells him that it's alright to ask her to marry him. However, he is interrupted by Pucci.
As they land in the marshes and Anasui prepares himself, he is punched through the chest by a Stand. He gives the signal, but it is revealed that Pucci used his Stand to take Jolyne's Stone Free and used Stone Free to pierce through Anasui's chest. Anasui falls into the water, dead.
He is seen amongst the rest of the Stone Ocean protagonists in the clouds in the final panel.
Alternate Universe
In the alternate universe, Anasui has a counterpart by the name of Anakiss. When Emporio approaches his car, his girlfriend and Jolyne's counterpart, Irene, tells the boy that they will be going to her father so that she can ask him if she can marry Anakiss. They also offer a ride to their car to a distressed stranger, Ermes Costello's counterpart, in exchange for her money for gas. The group later picks up another stranger by the road, who seems to be Weather Report's counterpart.

Video Games
All Star Battle (PS3)
Anasui makes his game debut as a DLC character in the PS3 title. He was confirmed for the 4th campaign, alongside Vanilla Ice. He is the only playable male ally for Part 6. For the English localization of the game, he was given the name "Narc Anastasia".
Gameplay-wise, Anasui is a trap-heavy fighter, not unlike Mariah in Heritage for the Future. As one of the mass majority of playable characters in the game with the "Stand" Style, Anasui can turn Diver Down on/off, changing movesets, as well as having access to the Stand Rush ability returning from the Capcom game, being able to attack in conjunction with his Stand. Anasui has 1000 HP.
ON GROUND Anasui can summon or recall his Diver Down, changing the way he plays.

ON GROUND Anasui's GHA, "Diving in", has Diver Down sink into the ground once more, appearing in front of the opponent to lunge at them, regardless of range or orientation. If the attack connects, DD dives into the opponent's body, before destroying them from the inside with a relentless combo of punches and kicks in many directions. The opponent is flung around by the internal force into the air as Anasui expresses DD's ability to kill them from the inside-out. As he finishes talking, DD ends the attack with a powerful kick strong enough to pierce through the target's back and send them flying.
Eyes of Heaven (PS3/PS4)
Anasui was confirmed for the game alongside Pucci with C-Moon, Josuke Higashikata (JoJolion), and Joshu Higashikata. As a Stand User, Anasui is one of many characters with wildly varied abilities that grant him uniqueness in battle.
- Style Action - And... RELEASE!: Diver Down performs a single kick forward, leaving the energy of the kick in the form of a trap. If it hits an opponent, they will become a carrier of the energy, damaging and blowing back both themselves and their partner if they make contact with each other. If it hits a wall, the energy will be left as a trap, damaging and blowing back any opponent that gets too close. If Style Action is held, Diver Down can charge its power in order to increase the damage dealt and the number of stored kicks up to 15, and eventually make the traps unblockable. Anasui may have up to 3 traps active at a given time, including any affecting his opponents.
- Trait - Wall!: Anasui can perform a second jump off a wall by sending Diver Down into it and vaulting off its leg.
- You're in range!: Anasui summons Diver Down to punch at an upward angle. If it hits, DD dives into an opponent, beats them up from the inside, and comes out of their back to launch them into the ground. Anasui is invincible from the beginning of the dive until the last punch is thrown.
- Go to hell!: Anasui and Diver Down leap into the air before landing with a roll. If DD hits an opponent during this period, it will make them bounce high into the air and dive into the ground when it lands. From the ground, DD will unleash an upward barrage of 14 punches on the falling target, the last hit launching them into the air.
- Diver Down! Dive!: Diver Down moves at high speeds through the ground as Anasui rides it, and can steer left and right. This move can be used for traversal or closing the distance on his targets, assisting in evasion through the former. The activating input can be held to increase the time and therefore distance he covers. While active, Anasui's stamina gauge quickly drains, and he will damage opponents he makes contact with but will stop immediately upon doing so. He may instantly cancel the skill by jumping the instant he stops moving.
- I dove into your body itself.: Anasui sends Diver Down to protect either himself or his partner. If held, a green circle will appear at Anasui's feet indicating the range he must be in to have DD protect his partner, as well as the maximum range from Anasui the ability will persist for them. While active, DD will automatically counterattack any non-projectiles and non-DHA attacks with a barrage of 15 punches. Anasui will be unable to use any skills that require the use of DD, and attempting to use Normal or Powerful Attacks will result in the ability canceling. If DD is protecting Anasui himself, he may also cancel the skill at any time by reinputting the skill. If his partner is attacked while protected by DD, Anasui will absorb a portion of the damage.
- EX - Go to hell!: Anasui is invincible until he lands.
- EX - Diver Down! Dive!: Anasui is invincible to projectiles while moving, will now knock opponents he makes contact with into the air without stopping, and can freely cancel his movement with a Normal Attack, his Style Action, or any skill.
- Dual Heat Attack - I dove in.: Identical to its performance in All Star Battle, though executes faster for the sake of brevity.

As with other Stone Ocean characters returning from All Star Battle (except Pucci), Anasui's default and secondary alternate costumes swapped their places; his default costume in ASB is now his secondary costume and vice versa.
Tournament
He is paired with Josuke Higashikata 8 in the Eyes of Heaven Tournament, having been placed in the F Block series of battles to be incorporated into the main Tournament. They were eliminated in the first round by Part 4 Jotaro and Diego Brando (Parallel World).
