Guido Mista (グイード・ミスタ, Guīdo Misuta) was confirmed to return for All-Star Battle R during the game's initial announcement trailer.[1]

His moveset is fundamentally the same as his from All-Star Battle, with a few tweaks being made to both balance the character and fit him into the overall gameplay tweaks that All-Star Battle R brought.
In the English version of All-Star Battle R, Mista's Stand, Sex Pistols, is localized as "Six Bullets", carried on from its first official usage in All-Star Battle.
Replacing Kenji Akabane, Kosuke Toriumi reprises his role as Mista's voice actor from the Golden Wind anime adaptation. Toriumi also replaces Asami Imai as Sex Pistols. As with the majority of the game's roster, voice lines for Mista were either added or re-recorded.
Gameplay
Mista has 950 health and uses the Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, fighting foes with Sex Pistols. During a fight, he can use several different attacks that were featured in Vento Aureo.

One input equates one Pistol, and repeated inputs cause more Pistols to enter the gun at once, further enhancing the shot's damage, hit count, and homing power as the Stand passes the bullet to each other through the opponent. When this ability is used, the empowered bullet is shown flashing red in the Ammunition Icon.
This ability executes passively without action from Mista himself; This means it can be used while moving, in mid-air, and even in the middle of attacking. While this ability can be combined with "Places, everyone!", it will not recall placed pistols, so Mista must have Pistols left over to utilize this ability after "Places, everyone!" has been used.

This ability can also be used while in mid-air, and while it can be used after some Pistols have already been loaded via "Time to get to work!", there must be Pistols remaining for Mista to utilize to use this skill as it will not recall already loaded Pistols.

Attack type: Low
Damage: 18

Ground versions:
- Light (
): Mista fires at an upward angle, allowing him to anti-air a jumping opponent.
- Medium (
): Mista fires straight forward.
- Heavy (
): Mista fires downward, making it easier to shoot a downed opponent.
Aerial versions:
- Light (
): Mista fires straight forward, allowing him to challenge an opponent also in the air.
- Medium (
): Mista fires at a diagonally downwards angle.
- Heavy (
): Mista fires sharply downward, almost underneath him.
He may fire more shots at once with subsequent button presses, even firing at the other possible angles with the alternate attack buttons. If all six bullets land, the sixth shot will knock the opponent down in a soft knockdown.
- If "Time to get to work!" is in effect and Sex Pistols are attached to a bullet when it is fired, it will gain homing capabilities and deal drastically more damage depending on the amount of Pistols attached. To note, any subsequent shots after the initial one cannot be enhanced through Sex Pistols, merely tacking on small amounts of extra damage.
- Should any bullet incidentally come in contact with a Sex Pistol deployed with "Places, everyone!", it will automatically be redirected toward the opponent.
- When 4 or 5 Pistols are attached to the bullet, if it connects, it will launch the opponent.
- When 6 Pistols are attached to a bullet, if it connects, it will knock the opponent to the ground in a hard knockdown.
- If
is inputted while a bullet with Pistols on it is in the air, all the Pistols riding the bullet can be made to jump off of it, causing them to hover in the air like they were placed there with "Places, everyone!".
- This skill can cancel into "I'll ask the damn questions!".
Attack type: High
Damage: 12 / 25 × 2 (50) (one Pistol) / 20 × 3 (60) (two Pistols) / 17 × 4 (68) (three Pistols) / 16 × 5 (80) (four Pistols) / 15 × 6 (90) (five Pistols) / 14 × 7 (98) (six Pistols)

- Light (
): Mista fires at the nearest Pistol which then passes the bullet to the Pistol closest to it.
- Medium (
): Mista fires at the first Pistol that was deployed which then passes the bullet to the next Pistol that was deployed.
- Heavy (
): Mista fires at the last Pistol deployed which then passes the bullet to the Pistol that was deployed before it.
Mista may fire more shots at once with subsequent button presses, even firing at other possible deployed Pistols with the alternate attack buttons; If all six bullets land, the sixth shot will knock the opponent down.
This skill delays the landing of the bullet, and can potentially hit the opponent at unexpected angles. However, the damage does not increase past the first Pistol, making passing the bullet along additional Pistols serve to further delay the shot. Due to the modular timing and delay offered by this skill, Mista may use it for unique purposes such as combo utility or even setting up an automatic combo-breaker if the opponent attacks while he's firing.
Attack type: High
Damage: 12

- Light (
): This variant can be Flash Canceled and will combo into HHA. It has no invulnerability though. It will launch the opponent away on hit. (Flash Cancel Comboable)
- Medium (
): This variant has invulnerability, but cannot be Flash Canceled. It will launch the opponent away on hit.
- Heavy (
): This variant has invulnerability, but cannot be Flash Canceled. It will cause a crumple on hit. Unlike the other variants, it will not combo off of grounded normals due to its long startup. (Comboable)
Attack type: High
Damage: 30 /
40 /
50

Attack type: Throw
Damage: 100

This HHA deals most of its damage on the first hit, and as a successful Counter Hit doubles the damage of a single initial hit, the damage increase to the attack is massive compared to most other attacks in the game. Coupled with the attack's short startup, speed, and range, it becomes an reliable tool for retaliation and punishment.
Attack type: High
Damage: 190

This GHA has the added passive effect of reloading Mista's Ammunition Icon and returning all the Pistols to him.
Attack type: High
Damage: 374 / 448 / 561 (depending on HH gauge)
