All-Star Battle R ★ Kosaku Kawajiri
Kosaku Kawajiri (川尻 浩作, Kawajiri Kōsaku) was confirmed to return for All-Star Battle R during the game's initial announcement trailer.[1]
His moveset is fundamentally the same as his from All-Star Battle, with a few tweaks being made to both balance the character and fit him into the overall gameplay tweaks that All-Star Battle R brought.
In the English localization of the game, Kosaku's Stand, Killer Queen, is localized as "Deadly Queen", carried on from its All-Star Battle debut.
Replacing Kosaku's previous voice actor, Rikiya Koyama, is Toshiyuki Morikawa, who has voiced him since the Diamond is Unbreakable anime adaptation. Because of this, and like the majority of the game's roster, voicelines for Kosaku were either added or re-recorded.
Gameplay
Kosaku has 900 health and uses the Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, fighting foes with Killer Queen. During a fight, he can use various move from his appearance in Diamond is Unbreakable.

- Light (): The air bomb travels straight forward.
- Medium (): The air bomb travels at a 45 degree angle upward.
- Heavy (): The air bomb travels at a steeper upward angle, almost directly up.
These bombs deals 50% of the Guard Gauge, deals higher damage than "Contact Bomb", are unaffected by opposing attacks, projectiles, and traps, and produce large explosions that cannot be jumped over. However, Kosaku is completely vulnerable while he is controlling the air bomb, and the bomb disappears as soon as he is hit.

Though this move is identical to the original Kira's "It's your fate to be defeated" skill, its name implies it to be the stomp Killer Queen attempted to use on Stray Cat during their first encounter.

Moveset Changes from All-Star Battle
While Kosaku can still be hit by the explosion of this skill, it no longer launches him, instead only dealing damage, which is also greater than it was in ASB. Additionally, the explosion from this skill is now a High rather than an Unblockable. As a trade off, this skill now deals heavy guard damage (50% of the bar).
General Changes
- Kosaku's run speed in User Mode has been greatly decreased.

- Kosaku's GHA, "Bites the Dust", rewinds time, and by doing so, he reverses several character-specific effects. This includes:
- Jonathan Joestar: If Jonathan has activated his "This is my final Ripple!" comeback ability and recovers, its passive effects will be undone and access to his HHG will be restored to him as well.
- Joseph Joestar: If Joseph has gained any "Guess I did it again!" Levels, it will be reverted back down to Lv 0. If one of the counters used to gain those levels was his "Your next line is:" skill, access to that skill will remain locked.
- Rudol von Stroheim: If Stroheim destroyed his own HHG by successfully activating his "Farewell, you annoying Englishman!" skill, access to his HHG will be restored to him.
- Wamuu: If Wamuu has any of his installs (Wind Mode, "Vapor Barrier", or "I shall see with the wind") active, they will be cancelled/undone, and the Heart Heat spent will remain lost.
- Esidisi: If Esidisi has any of his installs ("Heat Control" or "The Burning King") active, they will be cancelled, and the Heart Heat spent will remain lost.
- Kars: If Kars has evolved into the Ultimate Thing using his GHA, his transformation will be undone and the Heart Heat spent will remain lost. If either of his installs ("Light Mode" or "Brilliant Bone Blades") are active, they will be undone as well.
- Mariah: If Mariah has gained Magnetization Gauge levels, they will be reverted back down to Lv 1.
- Yukako Yamagishi: If Yukako's HHG was destroyed due to her "My precious hair! It's turned completely white!" special, it will be restored, though this is purely visual as she does not have the health to live even the lowest damage version of Kosaku's GHA when the special is activated.
- Giorno Giovanna: If Giorno has Gold Experience in Requiem Mode using his GHA, the transformation will be undone and the Heart Heat spent will remain lost.
- Pannacotta Fugo: If Fugo has Purple Haze in Purple Haze Distortion using either his GHA or his "Purple Haze Distortion" special, the transformation will be undone. If activated with "Purple Haze Distortion", Fugo will remained locked out of that special. If any of Purple Haze's capsules have been broken, they will also all be restored.
- Prosciutto: If Prosciutto has gained any Aging Gauge levles, they will be reverted back down to Lv 0.
- Diavolo: If Diavolo used his HHA to activate Epitaph, it will be deactivated, and the Heart Heat spent will remain lost.
- Weather Report: If Weather has his "Weather Report" install active, it will be undone, and the Heart Heart spent will remain lost.
- Enrico Pucci (Final): If Pucci has evolved his Stand into C-MOON or Made in Heaven, it will be reverted all the way back to Whitesnake. In MiH's case, the stage will also revert back to what it was previously, and Pucci will be unable to enter Made in Heaven Mode again for the rest of the match as per his own gameplay rules. If his Stand was still Whitesnake, any of the 14 words already spoken to the Green Baby will be cleared.
- Steel Ball Run Characters: If any of the Steel Ball Run characters has Holy Corpse Parts in their possession, they will lose all of them and the Parts will reappear in a random location on the stage. If there were unclaimed Parts on the ground, their location will be randomized as well.
- Johnny Joestar: If Johnny has Tusk evolved into any ACT beyond ACT1, then the Stand will be reverted back to ACT1 and Johnny's available abilities will be reverted accordingly.
- Gyro Zeppeli: Gyro's Spin Gauge will be returned to being half full, regardless of the amount of Spin Gauge he has when Kosaku's GHA connects. If he was in Golden Spin Mode, the mode will be undone. If any of his Steel Balls were out, they will be automatically returned to him as well.
- Funny Valentine: If Valentine has used his "Back from the 'other side'" skill, access to his HHG will be restored to him and the Heart Heat he spent will be lost.

Kosaku's theme is KILL A (KILL・A, Kirā), and can be unlocked in-game by landing the "Can I ask your name?" throw in All-Star Battle Mode's Kosaku vs Narciso Anasui Extra Battle.
Its name is taken from Kosaku's actual name, Yoshikage Kira, as it's a romanization of "Kira" featured on the cover of Chapter 146 of Diamond is Unbreakable.
