Okuyasu Nijimura (虹村 億泰, Nijimura Okuyasu) was confirmed to return for All-Star Battle R during the game's initial announcement trailer.[1]

His moveset is fundamentally the same as his from All-Star Battle, with a few tweaks being made to both balance the character and fit him into the overall gameplay tweaks that All-Star Battle R brought.

Being Okuyasu's one and only voice actor, debuting in All-Star Battle and later voicing Okuyasu in the Diamond is Unbreakable anime adaptation, Wataru Takagi reprises his role in this game as well. As with a majority of the game's roster, voicelines for Okuyasu were either added or re-recorded.

Gameplay

Okuyasu has 1000 health and uses the Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, fighting foes with The Hand. During a fight, he can use various moves from his appearance in Diamond is Unbreakable.

Okuyasu Nijimura (虹村億泰)
第４部『ダイヤモンドは砕けない』の登場人物。『ザ・ハンド』のスタンド使い。仗助の同級生。単純な性格で乱暴者だが、お人良しで涙もろい。兄の虹村形兆に判断を頼って生きてきたため、決断が苦手。仗助との闘いに敗北し、形兆がレッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパーに殺害された後は、仗助や康一らと一緒に行動するようになる。
The Hand (ザ・ハンド)
虹村億泰のスタンド。右手でつかんだあらゆる物体を空間ごと削り取ることができる。削られた空間は自然に閉じ、その性能を利用して瞬間移動することもできる。ただし、削られた物がどこに行くのかは億泰自身にもわからない。
