Diamond is Unbreakable - Chapter 42 [307]
Red Hot Chili Pepper, Part 1 (レッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパー その①, Reddo Hotto Chiri Peppā Sono 1), originally We're Being Watched! (何かに見られている！, Nanika ni Mirarete Iru!) in the WSJ release, is the 42nd chapter of Diamond is Unbreakable and the 307th chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary
It is late at night at the Higashikata's and Tomoko orders her son Josuke to stop playing video games, repeatedly kicking him in the back to disturb him. After Josuke finally loses, Tomoko leaves and tells him to go to bed. Josuke then turns off the TV yet it turns back on by itself and Red Hot Chili Pepper appears out of it. Josuke asks it what it is doing here, and Red Hot Chili Pepper reveals that he's been spying on Josuke and every known Stand user in town for a while. Having deemed that it has absorbed enough energy, it openly challenges Josuke, asking him to punch as fast as he can. To its surprise, Crazy Diamond punches faster than it can react, and is it pummeled. However, Red Hot Chili Pepper retaliates and manages to punch Crazy Diamond and Josuke across the room and retreats in order to strengthen itself. Josuke is stunned at how powerful the Stand is.
The next day, Jotaro is sitting near the private beach of the Morioh Grand Hotel. A man comes, revealing himself as an employee of the Speedwagon Foundation, and tells Jotaro that Joseph Joestar is coming to Morioh tomorrow at midday.
