He tries to call Jotaro, but the latter has gone to another room. Josuke then sees that the rat is eating the jellified owners of the farm, and has no choice but to kill it alone. Josuke slowly approaches until the rat stops chewing on the meat of the owners. Sensing that it is the closest he will approach, has [[Crazy Diamond]] flick a marble toward it. The shot connects but doesn't kill the rat, which reveals its [[Stand]] [[Ratt]]. |

Summary
Jotaro turns his attention to a farm nearby and fears that it may already be too late for the occupants. Seeing no trace of life inside nor any sign of abandonment, he concludes that the rat is in the farmhouse, and he goes toward it with Josuke. In their way, Jotaro tells Josuke that the rat already knows they're here, but that they can exploit its confidence and take it by surprise with the marbles.
