All-Star Battle R ★ Johnny Joestar
Johnny Joestar (ジョニィ・ジョースター, Joni Jōsutā) was confirmed to return for All-Star Battle R during the game's initial announcement trailer.[1] He was featured as 1 of 15 playable characters during the Evo 2022 Demo on August 5.[3]
His moveset is fundamentally the same as his from All-Star Battle, with a few tweaks being made to both balance the character and fit him into the overall gameplay tweaks that All-Star Battle R brought.
As Johnny's voice actor since All-Star Battle, Yuki Kaji reprises his role in All-Star Battle R as well, notably also voicing Koichi Hirose. As with the majority of the game's roster, voicelines for Johnny were either added or re-recorded (though some lines, notably his GHA, appear to be reused from the original All Star Battle).
Gameplay
Johnny has 950 health and uses both the Mounted (騎乗, Kijō) and Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, fighting foes with Tusk. During a fight, he can use several different attacks that were featured in Steel Ball Run.
