By creating a sand double of [[Dio Brando|DIO]], [[Iggy]]'s [[The Fool]] is able to perform a sneak attack on [[Vanilla Ice]]. However Ice isn't tricked so easily, and destroys the sand double. Ice goes for Iggy, but instead of erasing him Ice punches the small dog. Blinded by rage for having to destroy DIO's likeness, Ice kicks Iggy repeatedly. Polnareff watches in horror as Iggy's bones break and his insides bleed. Polnareff commands Ice to stop, and sends his [[Silver Chariot]] after him. Silver Chariot attacks, but Ice evades and disappears within [[Cream]]'s void. Chariot spins his blade, stirring up the sand made by The Fool. By watching the path of erasing sand, Polnareff is able to track Cream's exact position. Cream opens it mouth so Ice can see. At that moment Silver Chariot stabs Ice through the mouth. However Cream grabs Chariot's throat, unaware to Polnareff that Ice is now a [[vampire]]. |

The Mist of Emptiness, Vanilla Ice (5) (亜空の瘴気 ヴァニラ·アイス その⑤, Akū no Shōki Vanira Aisu Sono 5), originally The Paths of the Dark Void (暗黒空間の軌跡, Ankoku Kūkan no Kiseki) in the WSJ release, is the two hundred forty-second chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the one hundred twenty-ninth chapter of Stardust Crusaders.
Summary
By creating a sand double of DIO, Iggy's The Fool is able to perform a sneak attack on Vanilla Ice. However Ice isn't tricked so easily, and destroys the sand double.
