Chapter 203
'Bastet' Mariah, Part 5 (「バステト女神」のマライア その⑤, 'Basuteto-jOshin' no Maraia Sono 5), originally Cornered?! (追いつめられた!?, Oitsumerareta!?) in the WSJ release, is the ninetieth chapter of Stardust Crusaders and the two hundred third chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary
After avoiding death by train, Avdol uses Magician's Red to break off the piece of railing he and Joseph are joined to. Now that she's within range, Joseph grabs Mariah by the neck with Hermit Purple and prepares to incapacitate her. Suddenly Mariah's breasts begin expanding. Joseph and Avdol give off looks of shock and curiosity, however Mariah reveals that she has stuffed her top with screws and bolts. The screws fly towards the two, most of which hit Joseph as the rest are melted midair by Magician's Red. As Mariah begins walking away Joseph realizes that the farther she is from them, the weaker Bastet's attraction is. Joseph creates a map using Hermit Purple and comes up with a plan involving a pincer attack. Avdol and Joseph separate themselves and put their plan into action.
As the two run down the streets many metallic objects stick to them, such as soda caps, pins, bicycles, etc. Joseph follows Mariah until he is unable to move. Mariah mocks his futile attempts, but Avdol appears behind her ready to attack. However, Mariah had planned for this. She throws a knife into the air which cuts various power cables. Now loose, the power cables start attracting to Joseph, and once connected will surely kill him.
