'Goddess Bastet' Mariah (4) (「バステト女神」のマライア その④, 'Basuteto-jōshin' no Maraia Sono 4), originally Mariah's Trap (マライヤのワナ, Maraiya no Wana) in the WSJ release, is the two hundred second chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the eighty-ninth chapter of Stardust Crusaders.

Summary

Now having both touched Bastet, Avdol and Joseph are now stuck to each other due to their combined magnetic attraction. The two awkwardly move over to a wooden fence in order to use as leverage to separate themselves. Once they reach the fence Avdol begins sliding down Joseph's body. Avdol reaches halfway down Joseph's body before hesitating feeling extremely embarrassed. Joseph states that everything will be fine as no one will see them, but shouts in embarrassment when he spots the large group of people staring at them. The two begin fiercely pulling away from each other to no avail. At that moment an old lady who was previously taken in by Joseph's charm spots the two seemingly partaking in obscene acts, and beats them with her umbrella causing them to separate. Avdol and Joseph roll down the hill on the other side of the fence, happy to finally be detached from each other. At the bottom of the hill sits Mariah, and the two once again begin their chase. However they did not see the railroad between them and Mariah and get stuck on its metallic rail. The two slide together and become conjoined once again. As this occurs Joseph hears the sound of a train coming. He yells at Avdol to melt the tracks so they can escape. However Avdol states that by doing so the train will derail causing many innocents to die. Joseph tries to attack Mariah with Hermit Purple, but she is out of his range so he instead uses it to grab onto a nearby pole. As the train gets closer and closer Joseph pulls with all his might, but the pole breaks and the train rides over them. Having won, Mariah prepares to hunt down Polnareff and Jotaro, until she sees Avdol and Joseph have survived by digging a hole under the rail.
