All-Star Battle R ★ Iggy
Iggy (イギー, Igī) was confirmed to return for All-Star Battle R during the game's initial announcement trailer.[1] He was also 1 of 15 playable characters during the Evo 2022 Demo in August 5.[3]
His moveset is fundamentally the same as his from All-Star Battle, with a few tweaks being made to both balance the character and fit him into the overall gameplay tweaks that All-Star Battle R brought.
Replacing Shigeru Chiba, Misato Fukuen reprises her role as Iggy's voice actress from the Stardust Crusaders anime adaptation. As with the majority of the game's roster, voicelines for Iggy were either added or re-recorded.
Gameplay
Iggy has 800 health and uses the Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, fighting foes with The Fool. During a fight, he can use several different attacks that were featured in Stardust Crusaders.
Unlike the rest of the roster, when his stand is not summoned, Iggy takes chip damage from normal attacks and cannot recover his guard gauge. When combined with his small health pool, it can make blocking extremely punishing. Also unique to Iggy is his ability to automatically escape universal throws at the cost of white health.

Iggy's theme is The Shape-Shifting Fool of Sand! (変幻自在の砂の「愚者」だぜッ!, Hengenjizai no Suna no 'Gusha' daze!), and can be unlocked in-game by landing the "A 'nasty' habit" skill in All-Star Battle Mode's Iggy vs Koichi Hirose Extra Battle.
Its name is in reference to both the name of his Stand, The Fool, and its shape-shifting ability.
