'God Anubis' (4) (「アヌビス神」その④, 'Anubisu-shin' Sono 4), originally Certainly Desired (たしかに憶えた, Tashika ni Oboeta) in the WSJ release, is the one hundred ninety-sixth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the eighty-third chapter of Stardust Crusaders.

Summary

Jotaro awakens to see the barber attacking Polnareff with a sword. Polnareff explains to Jotaro that the sword is a Stand, and that it is possessing the barber. Polnareff uses Silver Chariot to attack with all his might, but Anubis knows all about Silver Chariot's abilities and limitations. Without hesitation, Khan begins wildly swinging Anubis, quickly weakening the tired Polnareff's guard. With each strike, Anubis seems to become stronger and stronger, causing Polnareff to come up with an escape plan. He grabs a nearby towel and throws it in-between himself and Khan, and, while hidden, launches Silver Chariot's rapier. However, Khan dodges it with ease. Anubis reveals his ability to remember any attack. Without his sword, Polnareff realizes he cannot win this fight alone and requests Jotaro's help. Star Platinum immediately punches Khan in the face, launching him into a window and outside the barbershop. Jotaro and Polnareff head outside to continue the fight. Khan leaps into the air and strikes at Jotaro. However, not even Anubis can match Star Platinum's immense speed and strength. Star Platinum grabs the blade with its palms and snaps it in half. Anubis realizes that Star Platinum's true strength comes from Jotaro's calm personality and good judgement, and surrenders, releasing Khan by dropping the sword to the ground. Polnareff sheathes the sword so it can't possess anyone and plans on throwing it into the Nile River. However, a policeman spots Polnareff and grabs the sword from him, thinking he is partaking in illegal activities. The two tug at the sword until Polnareff accidentally unsheathes it.
