Jotaro Kujo! Meets Josuke Higashikata, Part 1 (空条承太郎! 東方仗助に会う その①, Kūjō Jōtarō! Higashikata Jōsuke ni Au Sono 1), originally The Terrifying Freshman (恐るべき新入生, Osorubeki Shinnyūsei) in the WSJ release, is the first chapter of Diamond is Unbreakable and the two hundred sixty-sixth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

10 years after the fight with DIO, Jotaro is seen looking for someone with the last name Higashikata. He bumps into a small student named Koichi Hirose which causes the student's papers to scatter onto the ground. Jotaro uses his Stand to pick up his scattered school papers before asking him about the Higashikata person's whereabouts. He soon discovers a freshman named Josuke Higashikata being bullied by some seniors. He appears to be taking it in stride, not breaking his composure. One of the seniors, the apparent leader, throws a turtle against a wall in an attempt to intimidate him, injuring it.

Josuke's kind, tolerant attitude persists until the senior disrespects his hairstyle. Jotaro is surprised to witness Josuke using a Stand to strike and badly injure the delinquent's face, only for it to appear healed, yet a bit distorted, moments later. He picks up the turtle and, mysteriously, like the prior occasion, the turtle appears to be restored to perfect health. Jotaro concludes that Josuke must be the one he's looking for, while a still enraged Josuke looks over at him.

I just got back from seeing JFK. The theater was surprisingly packed, despite it being the first showing on a weekday. Its popularity seemed appropriate given how well done it was.
JFK(ジェイエフケイ)』観てきました。平日の初回だったのに大混雑。人気にみあった力作でした。
